    Glass of their Zin
    Lisa W.

The zins here!! We've heard about the dusi name and ranch, and their zins from Tobin James, and we had to come and try it. We did not opt for a wine tasting due to our 1.5 years old, he couldn't sit through the first one... we both got a glass of their different zins and walked the grounds. It's a big area for our toddler to run around and let loose. We came upon a see saw and played with that and there's an area near that see saw that was empty, looks like for hosting small events. We drank and bought 2 bottles of their zins for the road. Next time we'll like to do a tasting.

The Dusi family marks a century of winemaking with a special commemorative release and a bright future ahead. And helping us celebrate 100 years of Zinfandel farming at J Dusi Wines was the amazing Cara... Over the decades, the Dusi name has become synonymous with high-quality Zinfandel, sought after by some of California's most respected winemakers. As the family reaches this historic milestone, the younger generations are embracing their heritage with enthusiasm. (and great wine) You need to go hear Cara tell the story about the extraordinary history of Paso Robles wine country and the generations of the Dusi family! A Family Tradition with a New Perspective! #tobiethedrinker J Dusi / Dante Dusi Vineyards P.S. I forgot to mention they have a summer concert series "First Thursdays"

We enjoyed the wines at J.Dusi. My favorite was the 2022 Benito Dusi Zinfandel which was velvety, with well balanced tannins.

Great views and amazing wine! We've tried the pinot grigio and some of the reds, which are really good, but the rose keeps us coming back on hot summer days. Logan was awesome today, super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend doing either a tasting or grabbing a bottle and hanging out on the patio.

What a lovely winery to visit! This is a great place to wine taste as a little date or go with a group. The tasting room not only sits right in the middle of the vineyards, but it also is attached to the storage side with a giant window you can see right into the barrels and watch people work. I love a good red wine and the tasting menu is set up with a great variety of reds, my favorite was The Dom, but my aunts was the cornflower blue. They have plenty seatings outside with a view of the vineyards, and a pizza pit on one side of the property. There isn't a whole lot of parking here but I'm hoping most people won't be driving after all this wine tasting! This is the perfect thing to do during the middle of the day, on a bright and sunny week. Our server was the sweetest guy, who clearly loved the wine here and was happy to share his thoughts on all the menu and even talked about how the wines differ from day to day which is nice to know he actually is tasting what we are having. A great place to visit, but if you're in the area don't forget you can always join the wine club!

I've visited many wineries in the Paso Robles area over the years, but this was a first time at J Dusi. They have some very old vines, the winemaker's grandfather began farming here long ago, but she was the first one in the family to want to make and sell their own wine. We had a large group, so they seated us in a comfortable tent area behind the winery. The owner/winemaker, Janelle, did our tasting and gave us a bit of the winery's history. They had a nice crisp Pinot Grigio, and then tasty reds...two Zinfandels, two blends, and a delicious port. Great view here, a good selection of wine (especially if you like reds), and a perfect place to picnic.

Had a great wine tasting experience here! It was on a Monday at 11:15am during the summer and no other guests were there which was pretty cool since we got our choice of seating. The guy pouring our wine was so friendly and knowledgeable about J Dusi, all the wines, and the Paso Robles area itself. The wines were so good that I bought three at the end! I also enjoyed their charcuterie board Great views, wines, & service - excited to come back!

She even shared some food with my 3.5 year old as she was needing a little something. We ended up sharing ghost stories for a bit with her so that was really fun. What I liked is that she actually sat down with us and talked about the wine. Like I said I felt at home. The whites were very good. Unique varietials were offered. My friend who liked the whites was very pleased. The reds were also solid. I ended up with a bottle of franc for home and I joined the wine club. Isabelle was a huge reason we joined the club. If your tasting on the weekend ask for her she is awesome. Can't wait to go back for some more fun at this winery. Also a very high value winery as the bottles were very fair. Check it out.

She was an awesome host on both visits and was extremely friendly and accommodating. Bret's wines were outstanding across the board. We especially loved the 2024 El Paso de Robles White, the 2021 Fasten Your Seatbelt Syrah (absolutely incredible), and the 2022 Willow Creek District red blend. Thoughtful, balanced, and beautifully made. The space is clean, modern, and vibrant, and their creative marketing really stands out across social, their website, merch, and overall brand presence. We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.
