It made for a more relaxing experience in my opinion, and our group was able to talk and eat the charcuterie board with enough space on the table. The tasting was quite generous, and at the end of the tasting, the owner asked us if we wanted any additional tastes of anything which was a really nice touch. I also really enjoyed hearing the owner's story and which grapes they grow and where they grow on the property.

We enjoyed their wines wholeheartedly, and I couldn't leave without a bottle of their 2022 Paradoxical (not listed on the pic). Chris had pour us a glass and it had me at hello...LOL! The property is beautiful and full of charm, with roaming chickens and an adorable blue heeler that made the experience even more memorable. The wines were refreshing and easy to enjoy, and the rosé stood out in particular. The woman who hosted our tasting was fantastic and really elevated the experience with her service (we unfortunately can't remember her name, but she works at Jada Winery). Staff were just sitting around chatting amongst themselves, not checking in on guests. Second, when they did have time to come by, they harassed me about my 2 year old and told us to keep an eye on her and made sure we were watching her. Our party had 7 adults and one child - and one of us were always with her (there's loose roosters running around, and droppings everywhere - it's not a space for unsupervised play). The wine was mediocre. The food options were terrible. Even if I didn't have a kid, I would skip - there are far better wineries, with better wine, staff, food, and prices. This place is not worth anyone's time.

By serving amazing wine, being super friendly, and just creating a great environment to have a fantastic time. My cousin, who lives in the area, suggested my wife and I go here, and she was spot on. We had a lovely time tasting the wines here, and liked nearly every one of them, including their chardonnay. Wife and I are generally aren't fans of whites, but that chardonnay was divine! We confirmed we weren't nuts that day when we had a bottle of it with friends and family on Christmas, and they concurred it was excellent. We also really enjoyed almost all the reds we tasted as well. We liked them so much that we joined their wine club. Definitely recommend visiting Oso Libre if you're in the area! You won't be disappointed.

My first visit was back in December 2019, before any of us knew what was coming in 2020. A group of us girls were in Paso Robles for the weekend, ended up here during our wine tasting adventures, and had the BEST time. I still remember us sitting around laughing, drinking wine and enjoying ourselves so much that we practically shut the place down. It became one of those memories from that trip that always stuck with me. Fast forward to September 2026, and I was back in Paso celebrating my 45th birthday with my partner. I told her there was one little wine tasting spot I really wanted to find again. Sure enough, I found Indigené, tucked away in the same little alleyway I remembered, and we headed over after brunch. And once again, SUCH A GOOD TIME. Raymond, the owner, is an absolute gem. We sat outside at one of the high-top tables tucked into the alley and settled in for our tasting. As locals came in and out to say hello, you could immediately tell Raymond is someone who is genuinely loved in the community. It didn't feel stuffy or overly serious. It felt like sitting around with good people, talking, laughing and drinking some really good wine. We started with a tasting and let's just say...the pours kept coming. There were several wines I really enjoyed, but the 100% Syrah was definitely one that stood out to me. We ended up buying a few bottles to take home, and by the time we finally got off those stools, we both knew an afternoon nap was calling our names. Almost seven years between visits and somehow the same great feeling. Indigené is officially one of our Paso stops now. Whenever we're back in town, we're stopping in to see Raymond. Good wine. Great people. Even better vibes.

It was adorned with hanging lights and has table seating and couch seating. There are also seating options outside. The view is amazing overlooking their many acres of vineyards. The staff is very knowledgeable and let us know that their vineyard is located in an area that gets more rain than surrounding areas, so they capitalize on making their wines more fruit-forward since their grapes are sweeter. The tasting included five different wines, but they included two more which were not on the menu, and I'm glad that they did, because we ended up going home with a couple bottles of their pinot rose which is not on the tasting menu. This is a family business and the owner and staff treat you as if you're family. They were having friendly conversations with several of their customers. The hospitality and friendliness alone makes this a great choice to visit when in the area.

The inside tasting room is small but there is ample outside seating. The owners served us and were very friendly and knowledgeable and very proud of their product. This is one of the few Paso are wineries that produces very good Pinot Noir and Chardonnay as well as your deeper reds. We had a great experience and they stayed open after closing to share some additional wines and just talk. We will come back next time we are in Paso.
