This winery is the perfect spot for a late night wine tasting in downtown Paso! Open til around midnight which is awesome. My husband and my friend planned this one for part of our celebration. Loved the art decor, so fascinating and interesting. They took very good care of us from top to bottom. My friend arranged to have our wine tasting taken care of and even added a surprise charcuterie board for us to enjoy. Very personal and lovely!

Perfect wine tasting spot for a late night hangout! The aesthetics and vibes were spectacular. Our host, Anthony was so friendly and welcoming and let us taste a few wines before we committed to the glass we wanted. We couldn't do a wine tasting since we were drinking all day already so it was nice to end the night here. They had a huge selection and it was a fun time! Will definitely come again to try their wine tasting menu.

We found Serial Wines while walking around downtown Paso Robles after dinner. We've been to many wine country towns but there haven't been many that have a tasting room open in the evening so it felt like a special treat for us! We were warmly welcomed in and told we could grab a seat anywhere we wanted to do a tasting or to have some wine. We found a nice relaxing area and settled in to our comfy seats. We ordered a tasty cab and Syrah and were even given a taste of them before they poured an entire glasss which was very nice of them! They wanted us to be sure we liked what we ordered before they poured an entire glass. We really appreciated that and were very happy with our selections. They invited us to come back the next night for a special event if we didn't already have any plans. We made mental notes of that for future reference. We observed several groups of friends come in to enjoy a tasting with some of them ordering a bottle to enjoy amongst them. Their tasting room is very nicely decorated and conveniently located near the downtown square area. Parking is within convenient walking distance for all of the businesses in the downtown area with some street parking available too. With so many choices of places to stop in to, we didn't make it back for their special event. We will be returning once again when we are back in the area and hope you also stop in for a visit too!

Date night culminated at Serial Wines. Side-by-side of the 2020 and the 2021 Halter Ranch Syrah. It's like going out with twin sisters. Except for one of the sisters is a goth girl and the other is a runway model. You've got the 2020 which is like blackberry cobbler and the 2021 is a blueberry cheesecake with a side of Chardonnay. You love them both for different reasons. One is a borderline personality disorder, saying I hate you please don't leave me, and the other is a physicist saying I don't need you which makes you want me more. So which one do you take home? I submit both.

So comfortable and beautiful, the tables are made from burned wood from a California fires and it gorgious even in the restroom!

We have been to so many wineries and tasting rooms but few have come close to Serial! Mike or BiG Mike as we call him, had a great presentation, the wines were amazing, the ambiance is sooo sexy! You can go as group or couple, but please check this place out downtown Paso Robles!

On our first visit in April 2024, we stopped in after the Visitors Center recommended it. As we entered, we were warmly greeted by a lady who said we could come in with our 7 year son as long as he was well behaved because they didn't normally allow children. We were sat at a lovely booth. My son entertained himself with all the booklets he picked up at Visitors Center and he sniffed each wine that was served. He's accustomed to wine tastings. Mike was our wine steward on this visit. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. At the end of the visit, we became members. We've been a back once since joining. On this subsequent visit, Joseph served us. He is even more friendly and knowledgeable. His personality is perfect for the job. He was so excited to explain the wines and he makes you happy to be sitting at Serial Wines. My mother in law joined us on this visit and she had a fantastic time. We did two different tasting menus which allowed us to try a good variety of wines. It was a great way to taste and compare notes. The ambiance and vibe are very chill. They have great art decor and it is a very inviting tasting room. There's a lovely outside patio in the front as well. We wish we could've made their masquerade party for members. It looks like so much fun. We look forward to visiting Serial Wines on our next road trip.

Abby was one of the finest wine stewards we've ever come across. She was so knowledgeable about all of their offerings. Their estate wines as well as other Paso Robles grapes they source to create their amazing wines. She was fun, personable, and just plain lovely. She made us feel like winery partners. We will make "Serial Wines" our go to, for future Paso Robles visits. Paul Novak Soaring Wines

5 stars all the way around! Jenny was very nice and knowledgeable about their beautiful wines and the story of them. Don't get no better than serial wines in downtown Paso!

This spot was recommended by our wine host at Adelaida because I like white wine. I loved the decor immediately. The service was spot on. The wines we tried were decent. I would go back.

By the end, pretty much everyone in our group had found a wine they wanted to take home--including the ones who swore they weren't buying anything. Dennis, our Tasting Room Host, made the experience. He was warm, very knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging with everyone--from the serious wine lovers to our six-year-old--while keeping things professional and elevated. The whole visit struck that rare balance: polished without feeling formal, refined without ever feeling rushed or "in-and-out." Dennis has been with Eberle since 2017, and you can feel how much he cares about the place. He spoke about the winery with such genuine pride, and as you look around the tasting room at the rows of award ribbons from years of vintages, it hits you--this is a place with real history behind it. That sense of legacy and care is woven into the whole experience. The historic wine caves are a must, the complimentary tasting felt generous and unhurried, and the grounds have that unmistakable Paso magic--rolling hills, big oaks, golden light, and room to breathe. We even crossed paths with Gary Eberle (founder, 1979) and his sweet black poodle, Vieto--one of those authentic, only-in-wine-country moments that sums up the welcoming spirit here. If you go, ask for Dennis--he turned our first visit into one we'll plan future trips around. Good to know before you visit: * Make a reservation--it gets busy * Don't skip the cave tour (you can even taste down there) * Large lawn & games--great for kids and mixed groups * Very dog-friendly * Private, romantic tastings available in the caves * Complimentary tastings + military discount available * Plan to stay a while...and bring your camera :)

Our first stop when we arrived in Paso. We've been to so many wineries, this would be one of our top 10. The spice pairing is unique but pairs so well with the wine. Buy 3 bottles to waive the fee. Since it's more of boutique, the bottles are quite pricey, mostly ranging near the 100s. But it was our favorite the whole weekend we went there. And we bought 6 bottles. We loved the spell and got 3 bottles of that! It's a Syrah cab blend. Has the Paso flavor that we love. It's not a vineyard, just a tasting room but worth a visit. We met the wine maker too. Friendly and attentive service. Can't wait to pop open a bottle at home soon!

She was really sweet, was so informative and just a pleasure to talk to. We did the tasting, and we also did the optional spice tasting for an additional $15. I would strongly encourage you to add in the spice tasting. It is definitely well worth it, and it goes with the wine tasting so well. Nyoka was very good at not only telling us about the wines; however, also telling us about the spices, history, growing conditions, the owners, and even the geography -- along with a map as a visual. She was truly a pleasure. We did end up buying three bottles to take home. These bottles are a little bit pricier than ones we usually buy. We usually fall in the $50 range and these were definitely in the $75 to $90 range for most of them; however, they were definitely good and likely premium. Well, besides the obvious (the wine).... It was the.... ok you caught me!! We came for the wine! Yeah, we were staying at the Ava Hotel in Paso for my wife's birthday weekend (definitely check this place out if you are looking for a beautiful spot to call home away from home) And being that we were in wine country.... We wanted a nice outdoor vineyard where our kids could be outside, run around, and get all of their energy out all while Mommy & Daddy had our own little R&R time sippin' on the good stuff. And let me tell you, it was Good Stuff! When we first arrived at Sculpterra, we already knew the place was going to be a hit as the parking lot was hoppin. And apparently we weren't the only ones that got the memo that this place was THE PLACE to be as it was just a little bit off the beaten trail from where we started out... Approximately 6 miles from "Downtown Paso" (through the city limits, down the 'ol country back roads and suddenly we were in wine country!) Prior to heading to the vineyard, we did a quick pit stop at McDonalds for the kids so they had something they liked. As for me and my wife, we opted to get some of the local fare items offered on site, cause what goes better with wine than a yummy charcuterie board? I'll answer that momentarily! But wait, theres more!!!! Upon finding a nice little table outdoors to sit and relax with our wine chilled in a bucket of ice, there was suddenly music to our ears and Love to my eyes! Yes, there was lovely Live Music being played by a band and out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a food truck serving Mexican Food from a local Mexican restaurant. Remember earlier when I said what goes better with wine than a charcuterie board? Well, if you guessed a little Mexican Food, then you are oh so right, but only in moderation! So in order not to ruin the good vibes of the beautiful vino from Sculpterra, I opted for just one taco and a cup of their poblano soup and man was it fire. The soup was piping hot and it had a kick of spice that made me spice from ear to ear. As far as the wine, the vineyards vibe and the entire aesthetic of the grounds, Sculpterra Winery & Sculpture Gardens (the vineyard was adorned with many abstract and contemporary pieces that are all photo worthy), this place checks all the boxes. The place is kid friendly as there is plenty of space, both indoors and out, with areas for the kids to throw a ball, run around, or even learn to play a g as a game of chess. A decent variety of Reds, Whites, & Blends are all up for grabs, so if you find yourself in Paso Robles with the fam or its just you and your hunny, definitely come check this place out and watch the miracle of them turning water into wine!
