Booked an early reservation to start off the morning and this ended up probably our favorite tasting of the day. The tasting room was stunning and our host was super friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the wine, properties, and custom labels they make for their wine. The attention to detail from start to finish was really impressive to hear about. The wine was spectacular and both of us picked up a few bottles to take home and share with family. It was also super cute that they made a custom welcome sign because we had made a reservation too. So glad we were able to squeeze in while we were visiting Paso Robles. We did research on Tin City and saw several videos on ONX. We have been members of ONX Wines for a few years now and we really have to give a shout out to the lodging. They offer stays at Kiler Canyon, Briarwood and the Clark House. The tasting room and the experienced tasting staff (Paula is one of our favorites) are super consistent. When we stay at the properties they offer amazing concierge services (Dean plans our winery and restaurant visits). They provide fresh squeezed orange juice and pastries and a couple bottles of wine! Once we started staying on the Onx properties we never looked back. Dean has exceeded our expectations time after time and we now visit about three times a year. We reserved the picnic on the Onx vineyard. What an amazing experience. Our host Heidi was awesome. She has a dynamic personality and was willing to go above and beyond for us. Party of 4 with a reservation at 10 AM. Our server was Paula. She did great, was very knowledgeable, and had a great personality. We all did a tasting flight, which consisted of 5 different wines. They ordered a cheese plate for all 4 of us, and it was more than enough. Not a whole meal in one but good for just the tasting. The tasting room is very clean. We set outside underneath a heater that kept us warm the entire time. We were here for over an hour before someone else got here. My wife and I had an amazing vineyard tour and tasting with Connie at ONX this afternoon. She was so pleasant and cheerful! The wines were quite good, we ended up leaving with two bottles. Our tour was primarily on a Kawasaki Mule and was pet-friendly! Connie's knowledge of the vineyard, and the history of the varietals of the vines was impressive. Our tour was organized through Toast Tours and they arranged for us to have a special anniversary banner and extra pouring of ONX dessert wine paired with a local made chocolate truffle. ONX is a popular stop in Tin City. We've received many recommendations to come for this urban tasting, while they also have a vineyard tasting that occurs at their estate more south of downtown Paso. We enjoyed our personal experience at ONX. The staff was friendly and immediately greeted us by name with a table with our name on it. They have a nice tasting space and delicious wines to choose from. It also seems they source their grapes to downtown LXV tasting room, which is absolutely delicious and a must go to as well! read more

I visited Paso back in June with my husband and made ONX one of our wine stops out in Tin City. Our wine host was very sweet and made us feel welcome from the get go. We absolutely loved the wine! Truly some of the best quality wine you'll have out in Paso Robles. When visiting the tasting room, we were given a booklet about their on-site winery properties. Fast forward to November, we booked the Clark house, Clark apartment, and Briarwood cottage for a group of 13 of us. We had a vineyard tour set up for us the day we arrived with Dean, Tori, and Chris. They were knowledgeable when it came to the wines and vines, made us feel so welcome, and truly made this experience one to remember. Dean was our concierge for the properties and he was wonderful to work with. He made booking the 3 properties easy, provided us with restaurant and winery recommendations, and helped me set up a limo bus for a day of wine tasting. When arriving to the properties, Dean and Tori left us pastries, fruit, and juice as a nice welcome. We found that to be so thoughtful and kind. We were blown away by the ONX properties. The house, apartment, and cottage were so beautiful and well kept. Everything was clean and well stocked. Watching the sunrise among the vines was a memory I'll hold onto forever. Another plus? They have goats, sheep, chicken, and geese on the property! Food was provided in little baggies so we could feed them! Such an amazing place to stay at. If you ever get a chance to come out to Paso, I highly recommend reaching out to Dean and staying at one of ONX's properties! read more

We had the most idyllic Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Heidi at Onx on Sunday! The 4 of us joined her at the Tractor Shed for a ride in an off-road vehicle through the vineyards stopping at lovely places to taste and talk about the wine. We had so much fun with Heidi! She is delightful to be with, and very knowledgeable about Onx wines which were delicious. A wonderful and different way to tour a winery with an excellent guide! Highly recommend!!! read more

My bf booked here to kick off our weekend based on the fact that they had a vegan charcuterie board from a local place called The Vreamery and it blew my mind!! THANK YOU Onx for accomodating in an amazing way, the hand selected items paired perfectly with the wines. I felt like a normal person just tasting amazing wines and eating delicious vegan snacks. Wonderful ambiance and great wines, we sat inside with our dog (she was given water & treats!) and had a perfect Paso experience. We walked away with a couple bottles of whites as well. Even though it was very busy when we got to the tasting room, the staff was very accommodating and found a table for us to sit at. They were fine with the two of us sharing a single tasting flight. We sat outside in their screened in veranda. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wines we sampled. We tasted five and bought two bottles. All and all, it was a very pleasant experience. Our Onx vineyard tour with Heidi was fantastic she was loaded with great stories of her adventures and full of great information about the vineyard and wine making process. We had some farmers with us from Iowa, and they hit her with tons of questions she answered them all with ease. She let us taste the grapes to see how each one tasted compared to the wine they produced, and they went very well with the charcuterie tray we had. My husband and I took the vineyard tour and tasting last year and it was wonderful, but Heidi knocked it out of the park this time. We had 4 friends with us, two of which are amateur wine makers and know A LOT about the process so they tend to be very particular, and they were all SO impressed with Heidi's extensive knowledge, enthusiasm for the science of wine making and her excellent palette. We took way too much of her time asking questions about the wine making process, but she was so wonderfully gracious, answering ALL questions with ease and a really fun guide. My friend is a member here and every time we come down to visit always end up making a stop here, scheduled or not and the staff is gracious enough to make it work! The pourers are so kind and knowledgable, somehow can tell their own stories and connect it to the wine which makes it seem so personal and I love that. We've sat on the patio during nice weather and the tables inside - both great. Wish this place was bigger so more people could enjoy it! We had heard good things about Onx and so wanted to check them out. When looking at their reservations online I saw that they offered a vineyard tour. I prefer these kind of experiences to just going to a tasting room because I want to learn about the winemaking process and how and why the winemakers do what they do. So I booked the tour and added the occasion banner option since the wife and I were celebrating an anniversary. Unfortunately I booked and paid for the tour before checking the weather in Paso. Turns out it was going to be well over 100 degrees on the Saturday of our tour. Pretty much everyone we spoke to the day before said that I should cancel the tour as it would be miserable out in the vineyard at that temperature. But someone from Onx called me to tell me that they would have misters in the tractor shed, (where they do the tasting) and that they could modify the tour so that it wouldn't be so bad. We got to the vineyard and it was pretty hot out but not completely wretched. When they were ready for us we got seated in the shed and I pointed out the "Happy Anniversary" banner that was hanging above our seats to the wife and she got a big kick out of it. Our host Kira was very friendly and descriptive about the wines we tried. We pretty much loved every wine we tasted, even the whites. We got to taste a few of the grapes and Kira showed us how much sugar was in the grapes by letting us look at the juice through a reflectometer. After our tasting we took a quick drive around the vineyard in a little jeep. After our tour we each got a little cupcake from a local bakery and some dessert wine. The cupcake was delicious. Usually cupcakes tend to be pretty dry but this one was nice and moist. The dessert wine was very good as well. Overall it was a great experience, even with the oppressive heat. read more

My wife and I have been members of ONX winery for a few years and I must say they are spectacular. We live in Southern California and they had a wine pick up party at Frisby winery brew house in Orange County. The food spread was Great and the wine was good LOL. The thing that sets them apart is there employees. They are so nice and accommodating. We have big dogs and it is never a problem when we visit in Paso. Thank you Happy, Cici and Jenny!! Came by here on a Sunday around noon and the patio was pretty open so we were able to grab a table for four. I enjoyed the initial two wines, a white and a rose, the best. The customer service and descriptions of aging the wine in stainless steel and the background for each wine on notecards was well done. As for the negative, they don't serve food here and the cheese plates were all gone on that particular day. read more

Our tour guide, Jason, was awesome. He's knowledgeable and friendly and accommodating. The side-by-side tour thru the vineyard was smaller than expected. We met at the tractor shed and were the only guests, would have been more fun with more people or part of the experience at the winery. Cute little place - has mixed wine tastings that are pretty good. Our server Ryan is pretty chill and very personable. The white wines are pretty light for starters and the red blends I'd say are medium. Not bad for starters. My favorite on the list would be the "Reckoning." Ordered a charcuterie board which comes in a plastic container with different meats and cheeses along with olives and dry fruit. Perfect for two people to share. Currently was seated in the patio but wasn't too hot. There is no AC currently inside - but no one sitting inside. They do still make you wear a mask when you come in but can take it off once you're seated. read more

It's hard to disappoint with zero expectations, yet this staff somehow managed beautifully. When we arrived there were no other customers. Maybe a sign? Anyway, the tasting started nicely and the wines weren't bad. But as soon as they found out we weren't going to buy a bottle the mood of the employees changed. We also had a 5$ off coupon on Yelp for a cheese plate, which they said they didn't know about and made us feel bad asking about it. They continued telling us how they were going to contact Yelp to have the coupon taken down because they didn't approve it, continuing to make us feel bad. On top of that, the location was not a winery with vineyards and nice scenery, it was a covered patio with a non working fountain and stacked chairs.
