The flight we tasted plus a Rose

We were at Tin City and a couple of the wineries were closed and some you needed a reservation. So decided to try ONX as had good reviews. Treated in a friendly manner and we decided to sit outside. They had heaters but we did not need them. Tim served us the wine, extremely nice, friendly and informative. The place was very comfortable and when we left a couple of large parties had arrived. We had 6 tastings and my husband and I shared. If you purchased 2 bottles of red they currently waived the $35 tasting fee. They are expanding and I said offer "food". We bout a Pinot Noir and a Zinfandel, will go back, fun place to bring friends,

We reserved the picnic on the Onx vineyard. What an amazing experience. Our host Heidi was awesome. She has a dynamic personality and was willing to go above and beyond for us. The sandwiches were delicious. I especially enjoyed the couscous salad. The wine was also very good. Definitely would recommend doing this again but maybe try one of different experiences they offer.

So happy we booked the vineyard tour! Heidi was our amazing guide and treated us like VIPs as she 4 wheeled us around the winery grounds in a Kawasaki Mule. She shared all kinds of info. about ONX as well as the wine and vines - such a joy and made it so very memorable. Highly recommend.

ONX Wines was the perfect start of our stops in Tin City. It wasn't too packed and the employees were so attentive. We opted for the current wine tasting and sat at the bar inside because it was a little warm outside. The wine was my favorite in Tin City. Every glass was absolutely delicious and Paula was so interactive with us. Unfortunately it was our last day in town and we flew in, so we weren't able to take anything with us. But 100% would have!! Overall, a lovely experience, great wine, and great customer service.

Party of 4 with a reservation at 10 AM. Our server was Paula. She did great, was very knowledgeable, and had a great personality. We all did a tasting flight, which consisted of 5 different wines. They ordered a cheese plate for all 4 of us, and it was more than enough. Not a whole meal in one but good for just the tasting. The tasting room is very clean. We set outside underneath a heater that kept us warm the entire time. We were here for over an hour before someone else got here. A must stop for a girls' day, wine tasting, or just a day off.

    Tasting in the vineyard

My wife and I had an amazing vineyard tour and tasting with Connie at ONX this afternoon. She was so pleasant and cheerful! The wines were quite good, we ended up leaving with two bottles. Our tour was primarily on a Kawasaki Mule and was pet-friendly! Connie's knowledge of the vineyard, and the history of the varietals of the vines was impressive. Our tour was organized through Toast Tours and they arranged for us to have a special anniversary banner and extra pouring of ONX dessert wine paired with a local made chocolate truffle. Looking forward to returning in the future!

ONX is a popular stop in Tin City. We've received many recommendations to come for this urban tasting, while they also have a vineyard tasting that occurs at their estate more south of downtown Paso. We enjoyed our personal experience at ONX. The staff was friendly and immediately greeted us by name with a table with our name on it. They have a nice tasting space and delicious wines to choose from. It also seems they source their grapes to downtown LXV tasting room, which is absolutely delicious and a must go to as well!

Heidi was AMAZING. She let us nerd out. Greatest person ever when it comes to everything. She needs a raise because she is irreplaceable. The Vinyards were cool too

I visited Paso back in June with my husband and made ONX one of our wine stops out in Tin City. Our wine host was very sweet and made us feel welcome from the get go. We absolutely loved the wine! Truly some of the best quality wine you'll have out in Paso Robles. When visiting the tasting room, we were given a booklet about their on-site winery properties. Fast forward to November, we booked the Clark house, Clark apartment, and Briarwood cottage for a group of 13 of us. We had a vineyard tour set up for us the day we arrived with Dean, Tori, and Chris. They were knowledgeable when it came to the wines and vines, made us feel so welcome, and truly made this experience one to remember. Dean was our concierge for the properties and he was wonderful to work with. He made booking the 3 properties easy, provided us with restaurant and winery recommendations, and helped me set up a limo bus for a day of wine tasting. When arriving to the properties, Dean and Tori left us pastries, fruit, and juice as a nice welcome. We found that to be so thoughtful and kind. We were blown away by the ONX properties. The house, apartment, and cottage were so beautiful and well kept. Everything was clean and well stocked. Watching the sunrise among the vines was a memory I'll hold onto forever. Another plus? They have goats, sheep, chicken, and geese on the property! Food was provided in little baggies so we could feed them! Such an amazing place to stay at. If you ever get a chance to come out to Paso, I highly recommend reaching out to Dean and staying at one of ONX's properties!

Wine tasting with friends at Onx winery!

We had the most idyllic Vineyard Tour and Tasting with Heidi at Onx on Sunday! The 4 of us joined her at the Tractor Shed for a ride in an off-road vehicle through the vineyards stopping at lovely places to taste and talk about the wine. We had so much fun with Heidi! She is delightful to be with, and very knowledgeable about Onx wines which were delicious. A wonderful and different way to tour a winery with an excellent guide! Highly recommend!!!

Once I heard what happened I was more sad but happy to hear the new owner wants to continue Vina Robles. I wish as a member I would have gotten notified. Went to their new location which was really convenient since we were going to other wineries near there. It's still a big location. Plenty of seating and they still offer food which we were happy about. Our server was super sweet and knowledgeable which I always appreciate when it comes to wine. We started a tasting and then just tried whatever she gave us which we weren't complaining. Haha. All the wine she was giving us was really good. I was really impressed by their food. I wanted more of everything. We got their bruschetta al Fresco, hummus, monte Bianca pizza, and one other pizza. I fell in love with their bruschetta. We got there right as there kitchen closed which was a bummer because I wanted more. Overall, I still enjoy their wine. Their location is really nice. Food is delicious. We reserved noon on Saturday and after all of our party arrived we went upstairs to our lovely comfy leather sofas to settle in for the duration. We were given 4 pizzas of our choice and 4 salads and served buffet style so everyone could load their plate. We also added 3 orders of yummy meatballs. I cut them in half for serving. Artichoke hearts appetizer, charcuterie board and more. They provided juice boxes for the little boys in our party. The food was more than enough for Lunch. We could have fed more people and we took home a lot of pizza. The Italian sausage pizza was very good but we had the hot honey on the side as none of the group was interested in it. The wine was good, as usual. I had only whites. The rest of the group had the standard white then red tasting. The sparkling rose is also very good and upstairs you have dedicated bottle server. Service was excellent. They had live music downstairs and a market event going with vendors selling goods for the holiday season. I love this venue and will return soon. Improvement needed. Buy some large paper plates for the buffet lunch. It's a shared food event. All we had was tiny appetizer plates. We asked for larger but they had none. ** edit. Update. The manager replied and has ordered larger plates so I'm happy to hear this. We are already talking about coming back again. Dec 18, 2025 The Cesar salad had nice shaved cheese but no salad dressing.

We are the type of members who always take great care of the staff and rarely leave without purchasing extra bottles, yet today we were treated like an inconvenience. Despite being told in the past that spontaneous visits were no problem for members, we were turned away on a gloomy Monday with plenty of open tables. The host at the entrance was incredibly dismissive and wouldn't even let us finish our sentence before cutting us off. We were told our only options were to come back in an hour, a "limited" tasting, drive all the way downtown, or just pick up our shipment and leave. We asked for the Wine Club Manager to resolve the situation, but she wasn't on-site. To be offered a "partial" tasting as a favor after nearly ten years of support was the final straw. It feels as though they now prioritize "closing" new members over honoring the people who have supported them for years. They've gone mainstream and lost the personal touch that made them special.

It was great learning about the wines, and the area of France that they are inspired by. The wines here are a little different than most you see in Paso, they have a lot of white wine and do a decent amount of skin contact on some of them. Some of the wines reminded me of natural wine, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I know a lot of people who love them. I ended up leaving with a bottle of their 100% Pinot Blanc, a little sweeter than something I would usually go for, but I'm excited to drink it on a nice summer day!

But when it comes to my CHILD, you best believe i will never forgive and forget or let our experience be forgotten. We visited this winery expecting a relaxing, family-friendly experience and instead left with our daughter crying after being scratched in the face near her eye by the owner's off-leash dog. What makes this especially frustrating is that the winery's own rules state dogs must be leashed, yet the owners' dogs were roaming the property freely. Our daughter was calmly petting one of the dogs with me standing directly beside her when the dog suddenly growled and scratched her across the face. This was completely unprovoked and witnessed by the owner himself, who said absolutely nothing afterward. No apology, no concern, no accountability. An employee later approached us and said, "Sorry, he's old and maybe didn't like that she was the same height as him, which made him react".....which felt less like accountability and more like an absurd attempt to excuse why a reactive dog was allowed to roam off leash around guests and children. We also observed the dogs behaving territorially toward other leashed dogs on the property, making it even more inappropriate that they were allowed off leash in a public setting. My father-in-law is a VERY well known, well respected, and prominent winemaker in Virginia and across the United States, if you know anything about wine, you know him. So lets say, we understand winery culture and hospitality, fairly well. Had something like this happened on his property, it would have been handled immediately and professionally with genuine concern for the injured guest.....especially a child. Watching the owner casually continue on in his conversation with whomever, and pet the dog like nothing happened while our daughter screamed and cried was honestly unbelievable. In my opinion, not worth the visit for the subpar wine, if you want to take your children/dog somewhere. The poodles were friendly to me, and other adults, until we saw their behavior to other dogs & then my child....The complete lack of concern from ownership after a child was injured was shocking. Frankly, they are fortunate we chose not to escalate the situation further. Parents should absolutely be cautious visiting here with children or pets. An off-leash dog with territorial behavior has no place interacting freely with guests. Absolutely shocked and the owner should be ashamed of his actions & response (or lack there of) to the situation.
