We went to the location on Pine St. My wife and I had the Italian and it was great. The sweet woman at the desk found out it was my birthday and gave us two scones , chips and a drink as a gift. What a doll. The deli was wonderful experience, nice staff, great food and service was tip top. We will be back. I definitely recommend, if you're in the area looking for a quick lunch time meal. I've been here a few times for either a sandwich or breakfast item, it's a super convenient location in the town center and not too expensive, so a good option for when you're on the go. It's usually pretty busy so service isn't the quickest, but it is friendly! These aren't gonna be the best sandwiches you've ever had, but still a solid option. 6th street location has parking and outside seating with counter service inside so no frills ambiance. No signs for a restroom but there is one through the doors on the right. Service was friendly and fast with sandwiches brought to our table. Sandwich and wrap are big but needed something more. Chicken pesto wrap- 3/5. Too much lettuce and not enough chicken or pesto. Dutch sandwich- 4/5. Bread was delicious; crispy outside and soft inside but too much bread to filling so wish they had pulled some of the bread on one side out. Flavor combo was good but needed the sauce put on edge to edge not just glopped in the middle. Lots of other sandwiches to choose from and was busy so seems to be really popular. People watching was fun as folks lined up their beach chairs in preparation for tonight's holiday parade. The bbq beef sandwich was delicious with well toasted bread, tangy bbq sauce, and tender beef. The southwest wrap had a great variety of textures between the pepperoncinis, corn, and cucumbers, but what made it flavorful was the sauce on the side! We were on a road trip and passed through town at lunch time. We decided to stop at Red Scooter because reviews said they have gluten-free bread. We were greeted warmly when we entered and given plenty of time to peruse the large menu. I ordered the tuna melt on gluten free rye (oven is shared with non-GF bread, which they got my ok for). My partner got the Jam That's Cheesy. I really enjoyed the tuna melt and was pleasantly surprised that the GF bread also was rye. Often, white bread is the only option. My partner enjoyed his sandwich too, but couldn't put it down until he was all the way through it since it's a little messy to eat. Awesome food at a good price point. Seems to be a locally owned two location restaurant. This location is pretty small with outdoor seating. I had the chicken Ceasar salad and a Reuben sandwich. The portions were so large it will make 2 meals for me. It would have been 5 stars but one of the workers was flustered and we weren't sure where we should stand. She complained about going out to call people and folks being in the store, so we went outside to wait. The restaurant is small and there wasn't a place to be out of the way. Maybe they should get a pager system and when the buzzer goes off to go get your order from the inside. She was also pretty worried that I grabbed a salad that I didn't pay for. I told her my order name, sure enough, I paid for the sandwich being made and the salad in my hand. She offered to put it in a bag for me which was fine. While taking a break from our roadtrip, we came here in an effort to find an easy sandwich shop that our 3 kids would enjoy. I'm happy to say we nailed it here. They have a nice little kids meal pack that offers a few different types of sandwiches from both the class PB&J to meat & cheese. You also get a bag of chips and drinks. For my wife and I it was a bit more tricky. But in a great way. This deli has an amazing selection of sandwiches. So much so that it's almost overwhelming. We walked in thinking they would just have the basics but that's far from the case. They have just about everything under the sun to the point where we really couldn't decide on what we wanted. For once our kids were waiting for us to make a decision! Luckily the employee working was more than happy to wait for us and answer the questions we had about their offerings. I ended up getting the California cheesesteak that I really enjoyed. I forget what my wife got but she said it tasted fresh. I honestly don't think there is a sandwich on this menu that wouldn't taste good. It's all just a matter of what type of mood you are in. Despite having 5 items on our order and it being peak lunch time, our order came out quickly, letting us enjoy a bit of our meal in their small but wonderful patio area before we carried it over to finish under a large tree at the park across the street. It was just a wonderful addition to a great break from a long drive. We came here completely on a whim and fell in love with it. There are a lot of eateries in this area but I can guarantee the next time we are in the area Red Scooter will be on the top of our list of places to eat at. We've tried the Roasted Tomato Soup, the Turkey-Bacon Melt, the Rubenesque, the Daddy-O, and the Deli Salads (house‑made potato and house‑made macaroni), and I am especially obsessed with their TBM. Looking for something quick, easy and on the lighter side for lunch. Came across reviews for this place and thought a sandwich would be great. Walked in and could hear people talking in the back but no one at the counter. This was ok because I needed some time to look over their extensive menu board. An older lady came in and yelled for someone to handle the front "I am not ready to take my break but I saw a dog and I have to go see it" as she was grabbing cookies ( for the owner) and Turkey (for the dog). We had a few minutes to kill before a wine tasting, so we went into the downtown area and looked for some lunch. We found this place. First off, the rest rooms are in the movie theater next door. If you need them, walk over, walk in and go to the left. This is a business where the food takes a short amount of time (3 to 5 minutes) but the wait is worth it. I had their French Dip, which was served with au jus (in a cup you can see in the photo). The beef was plentiful and the sandwich fit in the au jus cup. My wife had their Tuna Melt, which was very tasty. They do have drinks available (look to your left as you walk in the front door with limited seating inside and a lot more seating outside. Stopped by the deli on the way up from LA, love a sandwich and this place has been recommended multiple times. I got the daddy-o which had pastrami and pepperoncini, my boyfriend got the Dutch. These sandwiches are well packed and at a good price. The lady working was so sweet she let us get the Dutch with toasted bread/meat/cheese even though it's typically just a cold sandwich.
