Allow me to explain. It could be cuter -- see Just Baked. It could be nicer -- feels like a donut shop. It could be better prices -- each delicacy is $4 (small) to $9 (larger) each. I've gone inside a handful of times to bring some to a dinner function with friends, and walked away half of the time -- just toooooo pricey.

We also ate breakfast there and while I personally found the cinnamon roll a bit dry, the breakfast bun was so delightful. It has eggs and bacon in it so it was a perfect breakfast bite! The owners were there and were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The shop itself is very small but we were able to sit down to sip some delicious hot coffee while we scarfed carbs. The grilled cheese sandwiches we made later with the herb bread blew our socks off!!

We arrived around lunchtime, and apparently the chef had stepped out, so we ended up waiting about 20 minutes for the food. It felt a little strange during such a busy hour, but thankfully the food made up for it. In short, one of the better bakery and café experiences we had in the area.

We had some early wine tastings booked and weren't super hungry yet, so I ended up picking a Chorizo breakfast burrito for two of us to share. It was definitely a good sized burrito and one would have been more than enough, but I think next time we would each opt for our own if we were even a little bit more hungry. The burrito was good and a very reasonable price. Loved the flavorful chorizo. They had a good self serve bakery section of pan dulce.

The man who worked there was so friendly and helped me pick out some Mexican pastries. The prices were amazingly reasonable, especially considering how they are all baked fresh. We picked out Mexican baked goods as well as a couple breakfast burritos. The burritos were GIGANTIC and came with some fresh salsa. They were delicious, hot, and truly "hit the spot"! (Ooh that rhymed!) Supporting local businesses is the way to go!

My take: it's good for grandma. It's a senior crowd to sit and stay, a younger crowd to get "to go". It's very clean and nothing wrong that I could see, but there's also nothing cool about it. Outside, they've tried to make it nice with vines over a pergola, a fireplace -- but then again it overlooks Jiffy Lube and they close early, so it's not like you can get a coffee and enjoy the lit fireplace.

Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!
