What impressed me was the location was very well organized and clean. It was easy to spot from the street and that's what allowed me to know they were nearby. read more

I can only give my MAN-POV (point of view). Drum roll: Eh. It's my local designer discount store (further is Ross, even further is Marshalls), so I go...but I'm not really ever happy or satisfied. I'm really interested in 3 departments of things: food, men's clothing, men's shoes, and occasionally 3 others: kitchen, jewelry (watches), and luggage. Location specific: Paso Robles, CA ============================ 1. In all categories, I found nada. For me, there's a lot of room for inventory improvement, but it's smaller square footage than most all others I've been to. 2. Seems like a fairly new store, it has nice presentation. 3. The shelves, and what inventory they do have, is kept as neat and tidy as possible. read more

I had a great experience at TJ Maxx today. Jojo helped me with a jacket, removed the sensor quickly and assisted and took it to the front counter so I could continue shopping. Went down to Paso for a girls' trip and we needed to charge the EV after our long trip. I think it's a great yet dangerous idea that the supercharger is in the TJMaxx lot... all of us went in and came out with things we liked and found. This location has so many things and is actually quite organized considering there is so much merchandise. I found a lot of great items in the beauty section, a very nice sweater (I even saw a Jason Wu in the rack), and a good variety of dog toys. We did roll in on a Friday night and they were open until 11pm at this point (possibly due to holidays) but it was not busy at all and our car was fully charged by the time we left. Teslas who need a Supercharge, I recommend killing time here but I also worry for your wallet for buying other things xD read more

OMG I found the Ugg slippers I had been wanting in my size for $39.99! Here's the story: So I had gone to TJ Maxx nearby to us (San Mateo) and they had the exact Ugg slippers I wanted except...of course they didn't have my size. Well, we found them and EVEN MORE different styles at this TJ Maxx location. Other reasons it is great: - So many clearance items! Crazy deals on skincare, purses, and more at this specific location. I have never seen this many clearance items at a TJ Maxx. I ended up buying a nice purse for only $12 on clearance. - Large selection - on everything. - All the coffee syrup flavors. I come here to buy my Jordan's Skinny Syrups because they are always less expensive than online. - TJ Maxx always has the best cards. Little known secret. I have been to a few bigger TJ Maxx locations (i.e. Moraga) but I ended up purchasing quite a few items here which means more than if they just have more items but less that are interesting to me. A large well stocked store. I can always find something I like. You can't beat the prices.

You can find great luxury bags here. I got lucky a few times. Kate spade, ck, and genuine leather bags.

This store is smaller than most but I pretty much can find something here anytime I walk in.

This TJ Maxx store is located in the same plaza as Subway and Lowe's, specifically next door to Bed, Bath & Beyond. My husband and I came here last Friday with our little girl dog to just do a little shopping. TJ Maxx is a very dog friendly store. We were warmly greeted by several employees during our shopping trip (the employee at the changing room department actually told the employees over the walk talkie that our dog was in the store, lol. I love that I am able to shop with my little girl because I really like being with her (and hope she feels the same way). Anyways, being the dog lover, I found myself in the pet section and ended up buying a harness, a dog leash, dog wash and a cute jacket for my dog (so helpful when you can put the things on your dog in the store instead of trying to guess if these items would fit your dog). I also ended up buying the cutest "Life is Ruff" cup that I found in the housewares. I love that TJ Maxx has so many great random things, clothing, decor, cosmetics/ beauty items, handbags and luggage, shoes, fitness items, etc. Prices generally are pretty affordable but the best time to go to TJ Maxx has their mark down sale. If you spot any of the tags on items that are white, those are their regular discounted price. However red tag items are clearance items and yellow tag items are final clearance, the cheapest the price will go down to. Each store has their own schedule when they have their mark downs and so you would have to ask an employee when that takes place, how often, etc. After we ended up with more things than what we were intending to buy (isn't that always the case in stores like these?) and headed to the register. Here, we waited a short time to pay for our items. The employee here was also very nice and friendly (greeted our little girl too). Overall, had a good experience at this store and would probably be a regular if I lived out here in Paso Robles. read more

I am not a TJ Maxx shopper, but when you forget to pack something for a trip and TJ Maxx is on the way, you stop. The location is clean, and as organized as the night before Christmas Eve could be. The cashier that helped me was also super nice. read more

Do not waste your time going in the store if you are looking for something for men , there is absolutely no men or boys clothing in addition to that they do have some women items and that part of the store is organized unfortunately I went looking for men and boys clothing the prices are very moderate but it is not for the whole family like other TJ Maxx stores. It is in a smaller town that has less people that live in it however I feel if you should go to a TJ Maxx store you should be able to shop for the whole family at one time. I asked was there another store in the area and I was told that the next store is about 10 or 15 miles away all the way across town. For that reason there should be more selection at this location. Overall I purchased the one shirt it was too large for the person I was buying it for and wasn't ideal but when you don't have any choices you have to make do with what you have. read more

I love this store and Homegoods. I can always find a great gift for my friends and relatives. Gave it only 3 stars bc of the ridiculous sticky price tags you put on everything. Impossible to get off, annoying and some of the stickers cover instructions on the packages for the cosmetics that needs instructions to apply. Poor attitude, no eye contact, smacking gum. The only words spoken to me were "would you like a bag? & "you're welcome" after i said "thank you" to her. I only gave them 1 star because I had to rate them. Their customer service is awful, they are not friendly. They chat and laugh with each other instead of ringing people up and helping them. I used my credit card for a purchase over $25 and they didn't even check my ID. This is not the first time they've done this. We said goodbye to them and they looked at us and continued to ignore us. If this wasn't the only TJ Maxx within 35 miles, I wouldn't go to this location ever again. read more

Great selection of items! There were so many name brand items including make up, purses and work out attire. The reason for the three stars is the customer service. The girls at the register were nice. However, the woman working the dressing room was downright rude. When I approached her to try on my items she told me rather firmly to hang them on the rack. She proceeded to count my items and handed me a tag. I said thank you and smiled, she just rolled her eyes and turned the other way. She did the same to my sister. After trying on the items we handed her what we didn't want. She gave my sis a card that had the number 4 on it yet my sis only had 3 items. When she handed back the items the woman asked rudely where the 4th dress was. My sister informed her she never had a 4th item yet the woman persisted. Mind you we had no bags of any kind so where would we have put this said 4th item? Probably our fault for not checking the card prior but that's no excuse to treat customers in such a poor fashion. Another woman working the floor was using a broom/mop to sweep the floors. I was in the aisle and went to move out of the way. She swept right over me without so much as an excuse me. After that I was beyond irritated. I always make a point to smile and be courteous so to be treated so rudely quite frankly pissed me off. I doubt I'll be back. One cashier. Several people in line. Cashier couldn't figure out how to do a return since a tag was missing (even though I brought another item with a tag to the register for them to use). One cashier even suggested the item I brought in might not be from TJMaxx. I had the receipt! Seriously offensive and rude. One of the customers in line asked if more cash registers could be opened, and the cashier first said there wasn't anyone else available. Apparently thre was, but when she finally called someone else up, the cashier apologized to that employee for asking her to work at the register since the were so many people in line (instead of apologizing to the customers for the ridiculously long wait)! Unbelievable. These employees need some serious customer service training. I won't be making a habit of shopping here. read more

When I used to work closer, I was here all the time, Just made me happy to walk in the door! A store that really enhances the area and made the new shopping area worth the stop. A big city store in a small town that kind of makes the world go away for me when I need a shopping fix! A little bit of everything and good shopping stop for clothes, beauty products, or a gift! Prices range from reasonable to pricey. But if you need kitchen, baby, decore, it's all there! Went today out of the area for clothes' shopping. You hit TJMaxx and Ross stores when in a new place. I must say that the locale was clean, the staff was courteous. The styles just didn't do it for me this time. I must say that the issue of air conditioning seems to be a standard at TJMaxx no matter where I go. It is always warm in the stores compared to Walmart, Target, JcPenney's and Kolhs. Yes, I have reported issues through Facebook customer support with no results...Still, love the beauty and self care products and all the bargains there. I always make sure to check that. Its pretty hit or miss with this store as far as their inventory. But what's really irritating is the wait time when youre ready to check out. There could be a huge line with only 2 of the slowest cashiers, no call for backup or anything. If you have some time on your hands then go, otherwise this is a very frustrating shopping experience. read more

Nicely laid out, clean store. Seemed like a really nice variety. The fitting rooms were clean, which was great. We purchased a RC car for our son. He opened it and we put batteries in. It turns out it was broken. It did not function. We took it back to the store and they did give us store credit. We went back to Tjmax two days later and we see the same RC on the shelf discounted by 3$. It does not work and they knew this. I feel bad for the next kid and parents that purchase this item. read more
