What's with Dollar Tree? Their buyer is off the rails. Both of it's stores in Paso Robles no longer carry any of the things that I've been buying there for years: No more army helmets or bags of toy soldiers, or any military toys whatsoever! No Double Bubble bubble gum. No bags of small Smarties. No Necco Wafers. There were the main things I would buy there for the past several years, and all of a sudden NONE OF THEM are sold there anymore. And what's with the absence of army toys--are they anti-military now? read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARTICULAR DOLLAR TREE! THIS IS WHY... The manager's at this store are extremely rude to customers and brutally rude to employees. They blatantly address concerns of any employees out loud for all to hear, embarrassing the employees. They talk rudely about customers in front of other customers. The manager is always in a foul mood. It is an unpleasant investment. I will not be returning to this Dollar Tree until they replace management. I advise you not to either in the support and efforts to have this rectified. I can't consciously support this behavior. To all the employees you are doing the best you can with the support you have. As the store is very busy and all of the employees do their best to get you through the lines as quickly as possible the staffing is a little light at some point but that is a company policy the manager does his best to put the strongest people on it the busiest times we are all they're trying to do the best job that we can keep the store is clean and stocked as we are able to do I hope that you all enjoy your trip there and come in and say hi read more

I had to stop here for a few last minute party things. I'm from San Jose Bay Area where the stores are trashed and no one cares. This store was amazing, clean, organized and so little chaos inside. Yes it is dollar tree but there is a ton of pride on the cleanliness inside. read more

So so sad. I go here because it's close to home. I was in grabbing a few items, as always and it wasn't too busy. A couple in front of me and one behind. Both lanes were open and moving steadily. The manager came out of the office and began loudly reprimanding the 2 girls that were working, about signs and open lanes, right in front of several customers. They were obviously uncomfortable. I was blown away and felt terrible for these two girls as no one should feel humiliated at work for no apparent reason. I'm a manager of a large crew of people and I've been managing for about 15 years now. This guys' lack of professionalism and huge ego are going to kill this business. The turnover is high and I'm surprised that he still has a job. I know I'm not the only person that has witnessed his poor behavior because I've seen it more than once. Another time I was there, he was "training" a new girl and standing behind her and leaning into her by the register "showing" her how to do something. She was obviously uncomfortable. Needless to say, I haven't seen her in there since. I hope that the corporate big dogs see these reviews and take them to heart. This store is clean, the staff is always friendly. It is always well stocked. The staff does wear masks, but none of the staff, and I repeat none of the staff wears their masks over their nose. So why bother? read more

Well I have to say I have been to many Dollar Tree's add this one by far is the best 1. All the shelves were neat and organized am I came at 8 o'clock at night when it should usually be a hot mess at other stores but this store was very clean and the staff was very friendly and it was very well stocked. We have a local Dollar Tree where we live 50 miles North but this by far is a 100 times better. I believe the manager Sherry is the one who was assisting us and she was extremely personable approachable & friendly. When we come shopping down here where definitely make this a pit stop. read more

The manager is incredibly rude to his employees, sometimes openly in front of customers. They only ever have a couple of employees in there which makes for long lines, upset customers, and stressed-out employees. Nice new clean store. Only one person ahead of me in line and the checkout girl was moving at a snails pace. She even picked up her cellphone while checking out the person. The stuff I was purchasing was not that important so I put my basket down and left. I absolutely hate poor service. As I began to check out there were 11 people in front of me and 4 behind me with the one checker. After about eight minutes she called for another checker which came to the front I believe he was the manager. As I approached the second check stand which he opened he began complaining about how overwhelmed he was. He blatantly out loud commented on how rude he felt the customers were being. I guess in this store it's ok for the employees (namely Jada) to leave so they can take a break and leave a sweet new employee alone on a Friday, after school 3:45-4:05 when there's a line to the back of the store and allow people to cut the line when people were waiting close to 20 minutes. Instead of getting the next person in line, Jada finally opened another register and let this idiot, who knew there was a line, go ahead of everybody. I called out the line cutter and Jada and then both had the nerve to act like either of them did anything wrong. I said they were both obnoxious. I couldn't believe that nobody else had a problem with it, especially the lady in front of me with children. I actually spoke up for her. It's the principle and the way I was raised. I am really happy that this Dollar Tree is in my neighborhood! It's definitely the cleanest Dollar Tree in the area! The cashiers are friendly, I've just noticed that the customers are very impatient! Give these cashiers a break, wound like to see some of these impatient customers do their job, not as simple as they think!! Keep up the great work!! read more
