Turns out the Stores supposedly know that we CAN ORDER at the toll free number. There is hopefully truth, that we can get Trade marked Chocolate Bordeaux's online by calling and ordering to deliver at a store nearby, too late for Mother's Day sharing or Easter. Shame on the stores manager for not responding to my plight, as He wasn't there, nor did he train his employees of this fact! Weeks of stopping by, calling ahead and again, we call places that are out, out, out... like we call places like that, OUTHOUSES. In the old days before toilets, these were necessary but today? No excuse for that, at prices that high, gals standing around, could be calling to let someone know their order arrived and is ready for pick up. read more

We love Sees candy but yesterday it was Saturday and very busy and the 2nd staffer, a woman never came out of the back of the store and left the line guy to handle all the guests. A long line of guests and more people kept coming in Update. I ate the seasonal dark MINT scotch mallow. It's like a candy with Toothpaste in your mouth. Hard pass. read more

James the asst manager really looked after us, thoughtfully and with amazing customer service. He chatted with us and we got to have a nice visit, he found us each of the Chocolates we were looking for while telling us about new products to try in the future. I loved my visit, it was my first, definitely not my last. See's is already a favorite place to go for hubs and I but people like James make is doubly wonderful. read more

See's Candies - James the asst manager was so very kind and thoughtful, will recommend!!! - Candy Stores Near Me - Paso Robles, California

I have been to this location a few times and they tend to be very busy right when they open at 10. Today, I was the only one in the shop which made my trip quick. - I always get the Scotchmallows and peppermint patties in dark chocolate. All their chocolates are gluten free but contain dairy. - Free parking at this location is a breeze and the free sample when you walk in is such a delight. The staff is polite, patient and want to make you feel special for treating yourself. read more

Visiting See's Candies is always an inviting experience, as the store is extremely clean and the employees are upbeat and very friendly. The associates wear face masks and gloves, along with their See's signature white uniforms & aprons. Today, as we were entering, associates were sanitizing the register & counter areas as well as display areas. For customers entering the store, a face covering is required and social distancing is enforced as indicated by signs & cleverly worded floor decals. One can buy a single piece or two, a pre-packaged boxed selection or custom craft a box of their delicious, handmade confections. They carry chocolates, carmels, toffees, marzipan, lollipops and many other treats. Around major holidays, See's offers unique specialty items on a limited basis. There is no sales pressure from the associates, as they encourage customers to browse around the store. Free samples are usually offered as a customer enters, however at this time they are now being given as one leaves the store. This store is compact, but is well-stocked with lots of goodies. At this time, if one spends $50 or more, one receives a free gift. See you at See's! read more

TEMPORARILY CLOSED Finally got over there to pick up a couple little bags of our favorite indulgence (the dark chocolate-covered almonds), but the sign on the door said CLOSED, and it was dark inside. A call to their phone number sends you into a limbo-like nether region, and See's website indicates this location is, indeed "Temporarily Closed". If they one day open again (which we hope they'll be able to) we will definitely be back. read more

This is the most friendly sees I have ever been in. The staff offers the treat per usual and smile. All of the staff greet each and everyone who comes in the door. The candy in the world. The staff at the Paso Robles See's are very friendly. I picked up a box today--when I went in they gave me a free maple nut chocolate and when I checked out they gave me two more of different kinds. I love that they have seasonal and holiday candies. If you want the most delectable candies head straight to See's! read more

I went to the Paso Robles See's Candy Store yesterday, and it was packed at 3:30PM. The staff and customers were both calm, patient, and pleasant. I was offered samples twice and was helped with my order of a half pound of carmels and five gift cards for a pound of chocolate for each of my co-workers. To my delight, I was helped by a wonderful man with a beautiful complexion and a kind disposition to go along with it. He introduced me to the seasonal Egg Nog Truffle, and I was so impressed that I purchased a box of those as well. A fun, pleasant, and yummy experience awaits you at the Paso Roble See's Candy Store. read more

Visited here yesterday & the new staff, while wanting to be helpful are not well trained. Everything took much longer because the cashier was not clear on how things worked. Also I asked for choc covered almonds but just tried one & they gave me chocolate covered peanuts instead of choc almonds. Never had that happen before. This store, in the past, was well run ....so hopefully they will be able to get past this current season of challenges but in the meantime, I'll head to the SLO store. read more

The Girl manager, I think her name is Bree, she is so helpful, she is patient and friendly while helping. I wasn't sure of what I wanted and she took the time to help me figure out what was best for me just by telling her what I liked. Just an amazing person!!!! But, there's an older woman in there who is just so nasty. Her customer service skills definitely needs some help. She is short and snappy, she rolls her eyes when you take too long to figure out what you want. I am not from this area and where I come from we don't have a See's Candy store, so I was excited to come in and shop. THANK YOU BREE FOR YOUR PATIENTS AND HELPFUL WAYS. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE, AND I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOP AT SEE'S AS LONG AS YOU ARE THERE... read more

If I could rate a zero I would. I've lived here my whole life but moved away 5 years ago. I try to come back about once a year to see family. It's Christmas time so I'm home!! Yay! I went into See's, for the first time in Paso yesterday and oh my god the people working there were INCREDIBLY rude. When had started to walk in but realized we had forgotten our masks so we stepped back out and I jammed to my car to grab the masks. Unfortunately I forgot to bring my kiddo her sizes masks so she didn't have one on but my husband and I both did. When we started to walk in the first time I noticed a very tall gentleman without his mask on. Doesn't bother me none. We get up to the glass to pick our chocolates for my moms Xmas present. My dang glasses kept fogging up so I removed my mask so I could look at the chocolates. I was asked once, "can you please put your mask on?" And I said "I'm so sorry, I have it off just while I look at the chocolates because I can see, my glasses keep fogging up." So another lady is asking me what I would like in my box, I'm trying to rush to look at the chocolates since my mask was off. I was moving around an older lady who was also getting a custom box to look at what they had when the same lady from before says "and you're supposed to be practicing social distancing". That's was a bad choice because my husband then got pissed off and said "you didn't say anything to the other gentleman that was in here without a mask and you didn't say anything to this family(pointing to the people behind us) who also aren't wearing a mask!" VERY LOUD. They(hubs and 2 ladies) then started arguing so I turned around to him and politely asked him to go outside, which he did. Then the lady putting my box together asks again what else I would like in my box, which at this point I never got a chance to look at the chocolates, so I said "just that one flavor I guess because I can't even see anything" so she said okay and politely asked me if I would like it gift wrapped. I asked if it was free and she said yes so i said yes please. I wanted to buy 2 more boxes of chocolates but was so upset with the 2 ladies that were so rude to us that I just got the one box of chocolates and an ornament. I'm NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN and if my moms goes she's probably not going to be nice ‍ read more

I every time I go into the Paso Robles, Ca these women are so kind, friendly and helpful. Such a delightful group of employees!

Best See's location I've ever been to. The ladies that work here are nicer to me than my own mother. They'll load you up on samples until you're stuffed! Stop here if you have some time and enjoy some tasty chocolate and great service! read more

I love See's. I hate that they are not open 24/7 because inevitably when I want some they are closed. But maybe that's for the best. No...in fact, I am sure that's for the best. This store is not huge but they have eveything and it's fully self-contained. It is always clean and the staff are always very nice and polite. It's the See's way to offer you excuses to come back, so don't sweat that. Just enjoy browsing, steepling your fingers as you decide on the perfect piece. Or buy a box. They make great gifts! (Oh sheesh, see they've got me slinging their wares for them now too.) Or just get a bag (which I do with my wife a lot) and just pick and choose a piece or three. No one will judge you for eating them all in one evening. Just don't fool yourself into thinking they'll last a week. They never do. Epic dark chocolate, just perfect. And next time you're in, try a marzipan. They're my favorite. read more

See's Candies is just iconic to me. Delicious chocolate, perfectly pressed white aprons, a free sample? Oh goodness, did I just walk into a chocolate-lover's heaven? Yes, yes I did. The staff here are all very friendly, helpful, and will go out of their way to ensure you get all the goods needed to put together an awesome gift, or just make sure you are happy as a clam as you are headed home for your goodies. Not a nut fan and the only samples contain nuts? No worries, they will let you sample another chocolate of your choice. How awesome! I feel See's Candies gift certificates, chocolate boxes, and lollipops are such a great gift to give or receive. I am so grateful we have this shop in Paso Robles. read more

Walked in about fifteen minutes before closing and was greeted by an older woman who gave us a free sample which was nice. I had never been in there before so my boyfriend and I were looking around for a minute trying to wrap our minds around what we wanted. The women from the counter said to us, "What are you going to get? I'm closing in five." She was displeased with our lagging and we understood she was closing in fifteen minutes but I've honestly never felt so rushed out of a store. If she was closing in fifteen that means I had fifteen minutes right?! She was trying to get the heck out of there which I understand but being rude to customers to rush them out is not ok. Never the less we left without buying anything after her barking at us to hurry up it became uncomfortable. read more
