The worst deli when it comes to help. Every time I come here there is no help there is always 2 or 3 people on the floor helping with the boxes putting stuff away. No help in the back. I will not be coming back and also check your dates when you by something from the cheese island it was out of date in June 2026. The Hispanic kid edraudo is very rude when you ask him for help. I heard him and the girl on the floor as they were Putting boxes away gossip about how the workers in the deli are lazy and don't do nothing they do all the work . I will not be back. This grocer was my primary source for food but with prices continuing to climb and more and more people in the store, I have stopped doing a majority of my shopping here. I like the deli/bakery with all the fresh offerings and a nice selection of charcuterie. Veggies are fresh, not always ripe but quite costly. The price for basil is staggering! As I walk the store, there are certain items I will go there for. Veggies being one and fish, usually salmon being the other. Not a great fish selection, never have bought any of the meat from behind the counter but the packaged section is a bit above average and expensive. I will give Albertsons a lot of credit for the wine selection. It's very impressive with all the Paso offerings, coupled with much more. While I don't buy wine from a grocer any longer, it is nice to know I could find some quality local wine if needed. All in all it's really a below average store for me these days. Limited items they carry that I can't find elsewhere for a price I don't want to be reminded of when I check out. In a pinch, use them but if you are looking to save on that grocery bill I might look elsewhere. read more

This review is mainly for the pick and go section of the store and the employee who I spoke with. I noticed that the chicken on my order was priced incorrectly so I gave their customer service team a call. I then spoke to a team member called Nayeli who was extremely rude but also unhelpful since she doesn't even understand how the drive and go system works. I asked what my options were and she said I could "cancel the chicken after they've completed my order...I think". I obviously asked to speak with someone else since she wasn't sure about the answer she gave me herself. After that Nayeli told me that she was the only one working so I asked for her name and after she gave it, she laughed. Overall i was pretty disappointed with lack of communication on their end and disgusting behavior from their employees working at their customer service department. read more

This review is mostly based on their online order and store pick up. I order a lot for store pick up and usually do not have an issue unless it's with produce or deli. Produce is hard, but I've had really bad avocados. It's now happened 2 times in deli and once on produce and on 3 different orders. I order sliced deli meat or cheese and often will get the "out of stock" note. I don't do substitutes so this time I walked into deli to order a substitute and they had my turkey! They had my items in stock and yes the line is long. I don't know if staff have to wait or they didn't want to get the my items sliced. Whatever the reason I can't get sliced meats and cheeses, or bruise bad produce, I was disappointed and won't order deli produce online anymore. It's fine for off the shelf items. read more

Sadly, this is not a positive review. I bought a cake there just now and planned on taking it to dinner to celebrate a friend's Bday. The box the cake was placed in did not fit and there was no plastic trim around the Tiramisu Bar Cake so even though my home is near the store, the cake did not make it home in good condition. This is NOT directed at the Niblick store. They have been good to me whenever I have had a pickup order. This is directed at their website and app. About a month ago the website and app became difficult to navigate and then impossible to use. I have contacted the "Contact Us" several times. My message as of today: "Why is your website not working? Anytime I click on an item, it asks for Pickup or Delivery and I select Pickup with my store indicated, a popup shows at the top with J4U and nothing goes into my basket. I click on another item-same steps. Nothing works. This is not my first inquiry about this matter." I have tried in the past. No response. read more

I actually really like this store. Honestly, I didn't expect much, it was surprisingly good. This is one of the worst supermarkets I've ever shopped at. Unfortunately, it's also the closest and most convenient to me (at the moment), so I shop here reluctantly. We ordered our groceries for drive up pick up, and apparently they were delaying all orders due to lack of employees working drive up, we came across Taelor and she was so helpful and noticed we only had a few items on our shopping list and went ahead and grabbed what we had ordered and brought it out to us. Sadly, they have taken a nose dive relative to their "shoppng"/delivery service. The latest is their ability to pick decent produce. The last example is corn. Instead of the shopper picking a nice fresh looking package of 4 ears, the one we got looked like it had botulism. It has gotten so bad that the wife goes into the store to buy our produce while I wait in the car for or delivery of other items. Also, it's rare that we get the items we ordered. Just today I received noticed that 3 of my planned meals would have to be cancelled because of "item not in stock". There's more but do no want to bore you. read more

If you ever need groceries in Paso Robles, you're probably going to shop at this Albertsons. I went with my girlfriends to get provisions for a weekend in town and found nothing to complain about. We had an easy list: lemons, bananas, eggs, Coke, coconut water, sparkling water, regular water, wine. The store was pretty nice and everything was self-explanatory except the wine. Thankfully, the Paso Robles Albertsons has a robust, well staffed wine section, where we were able to get some useful guidance. The guy working there was helpful, and I think was also conducting a wine tasting. We went home with a couple of local bottles, which we polished off that night. This grocery store has a captive audience, but it seems to serve its purpose well enough, with a great wine section to boot. I'm sure I'll be back to this Albertsons next time I'm in Paso. read more

Bakery. Great service but the cake was not originally what I wanted. I gave inspo pictures and a color palette. Was not heart shaped like ordered but another friendly baker gave me a discount when she showed me because it was a triangle. Only used two colors and barely decorated, was not hot pink. But when I called to speak with Home Shopping it went to Customer Service. Ok thought maybe we would get somewhere? No, they sent me to Home Shopping where I sat on hold for 25 minutes before I just hung up. Somewhere within Albertsons you'll find the canned and packaged food you need. Other than a total warehouse stores with no delis, we Roblan are stuck with them. They know this , which is why, as a monopoly, they generated a net profit of $400 million in the last 3 months of 2024. They are charging their customers an exorbitant price for groceries to ingratiate their shareholders. It took three times as long to get my delivery last night. I kept getting "Your order is delayed" texts.. They have trouble getting workers. If they want to solve this problem: Pay Your People! Share some of these massive net profits with them! read more

The five stars is for Steven in the Deli & his enthusiasm for chicken wings. But I'm sure he's enthusiastic about pretty much everything. His customer service is awesome & I hear his male coworkers are also very friendly. Though it's weird, the female coworkers not so much. Especially the short curly haired one. She seems very annoyed to even have to talk to her customers. Talking to friends. Food is great in the deli, the produce is beautiful and fresh as can be. The meat it phenomenal. And the staff is helpful and delightful. If I ever have a problem they make it right. And the store is clean. You may have to wait in line at the deli but it's worth it because of the friendly staff and samples they give out. read more

This is specific to Albertsons delivery: don't do it. I was very sick and had almost no food in the house. I'm not a big fan of grocery shopping online but had little choice. Placed an order just before noon on a Sunday and was given a 4:00-8:00 pm same day delivery window. The end of the window came and went when I received a call from someone at Albertsons telling me they were back up and my order might still be delivered late Sunday night but Monday morning looked more likely. Did I want to cancel, he asked. No I am sick and need food. We leave the order in place. Woke up Monday morning to no delivery and went to work. My son texted from home later in the morning to tell me still no delivery. Late in the morning I chatted with someone from Albertsons who ensured me the order would be delivered that day and my delivery fee would be refunded. Then nothing happened. Called the store about the order in the afternoon and whoever took the call claimed the order had been pulled and they were waiting for the delivery person. Then 6:00 pm came and went. Called again and the person answering claimed it was just given to someone and should arrive within the hour at 7:15 pm. I am not even waiting until their own new 7:15 deadline is missed to post this because they've earned a 1 even if it does arrive 24 hours late and the lack of communication was appalling. I've had orders get messed up but this was a relatively small order and takes incompetence and/or lack of effort to a whole new level. read more

They move things around a lot--the old ploy of getting you to walk through the store as long as they can so you'll be likely to buy more items. A lot of items they don't stock enough, so they run out fast. Buyers must not be on the ball. Most of the staff is nice, but I've run into a short-tempered burly dark fellow who is very short with customers; walks around up front like a prison bull. LOL. Today I had the absolutely worst checkout clerk ever. Very rude. Looks like if Auntie Mame had a wicked stepsister. I think she's worked there forever. (About time to hang it up, hen.) This place has gone through several hands over the years, and they used to hire autistic people to bag groceries, but then abruptly fired them all. A friend had a son among them. Not nice. Now they seldom have a bag boy to help. Items on the shelves are often in the wrong place, so you have to read the little shelf label to make sure you're getting it for the right price. I plan to shop more at Food 4 Less up the street. read more

Oh my goodness, I have never had such a frustrating grocery shopping experience. I came on a Friday around 1p while visiting Paso Robles and oh my goodness, the store was an absolute ZOO!! The aisles are narrow so it is real tough to get carts side by side and when there are multiple carts in every single aisle, this created some problems. When it came time to check out, I waited 40 minutes in line. Yes, you guys, 40 minutes with a cart full of food, including ice cream! Eeeeeek!!! I was really hoping to meet back up with friends after dropping groceries at our Airbnb but it honestly wasn't worth it by the time that I got home. What should have usually taken me 45 minutes was about 2 hours. Needless to say, I popped a bottle of wine when I got back to the house because sheesh, that was stressful!! Not sure if it was a Friday thing but wowza, I would go out of my way to go to a different store next time. The 2nd star was because I did find everything that I came for, so that was a plus! read more

Fix your carts sensors... had a grocery cart lock up on me, full of groceries. Had to skate it on two wheels to get it to the car. Froze up on the parking lot, middle of path of traffic. If it was my wife what is she suppose to do? Leave it and carry her groceries 200ft? I'm guessing I'm not the only one this happened to. Nice store with a good vibe. Kalen in the liquor department is the most wonderful gentleman. Kind and patient when I am having difficulty finding something. Goes out of his way to help. Will actually approach you and ask how he can help. I appreciate the extra effort he makes by walking me to and handing me what I am looking for. I'm hearing impaired and I can't tell you how much I appreciate this extra effort- Another employee seems to get irritated with me because I can't hear when she mumbles things like "Around the corner bottom shelf....." I appreciate that Kalen seems genuinely happy to help me find what I need quickly while also educating me about the liquor department. . The deli employees are always friendly, conscientious and chipper. There's a gentleman who's always happy and fun and singing, he ALWAYS makes my day. I always enjoy interacting with Art and Roland and I'm always guaranteed a smile when they're working, and I always enjoy chatting about "the good ol days" with them both. Lovely gentlemen who always make my day brighter. Andrea always bags my groceries perfectly and is one of the hardest working, personable and friendliest employees. She shines . Unfortunately, this Albertsons is the central Depot for anti-maskerville. Employees not following the state-mandated guidelines. Customers, almost all of them, not complying with the state law. The person in the meat department working over the raw meat had no mask and no hair net. read more
