To be honest, quite surprised this Carneceria only has 4 stars. The car itas is to die for. We got a family pack of 2 pounds of mixed carnitas, 30 tortillas and 8 ounces of green salsa. Everything is made in house. The tortillas are soft and fresh. The carnitas are juicy and flavorful. The salsa verde is the perfect topping to make some tacos. We.also got a ranchera torta. The steak was marinated perfectly, lots of flavor. They could've cut the pieces smaller just so each bite doesn't pull out a large piece of steak. I can't wait to come back for more carnitas! read more

Tacos el pastor were the best I've ever had in my entire life!! The meat was super tender and full of flavor

I'm not sure what the appeal of this place is but I must admit... they have a following. I have given this place multiple opportunities over the years and I still feel it's mediocre at best. I typically order asada either in a burrito or as tacos. The meat is always tough and full of rubbery parts. The place itself is quite dirty and unappealing for a restaurant/market. The service is slow and you must plan accordingly if you're in your lunch break. I love supporting local, but this place is a hard pass for me. read more

If you're in the mood for some tasty Mexican food. I recommend popping into La Reyna market. I give the food a 5 out of 5/5, the amiance is a 3/5. I consider it a hole in the wall local neighborhood spot. If you know you know! The food is made to order and is always on point. I ordered a chicken Burrito with everything. The tortilla was nice and fresh, all of the ingredients married perfectly for a great bite. My wife had the Quesabirria Tacos. They were perfectly sauced and flavorful. The meat was nice and tender and the cheese was a perfect pair. Once dipped in the consommé...lights out delicious. Side note.. add some of that consommé to the Burrito... next level. The price point is spot on. You most definitely get your money's worth. The overall store has your usual grocery items with a Mecicsn twist. Don't go in expecting a glamorous restaurant setting. It's a grocery store with a kitchen in the back, and a taco stand outside. They also have a full meat counter. I usually order to go, but they have plenty outside seating. read more

Man, we're bummed! These past couple times have been okay but I don't think we'll be back after tonight. We ordered 1lb of carnitas and gave a super great tip and the bag is nothing but fat and skin...honestly, it seemed like the scraps at the bottom of the bin. We come here all the time and recommend this place to everyone. Super disappointing. read more

Food is always good and I really like the al pastor. We had it delivered and it arrived hot and fresh. My only complaint is the size of guacamole we ordered wasn't right. read more

Ordering a carnitas burrito via doordash at La Reyna, well, pretty good. But I didn't want to write a review before checking out the place. At first glance, it looks good. A nice amount of refrigerated produce on the right, followed by the butcher, and then the food station with ordering board. The meats, priced well, but didn't feature any of the cuts that I like. But the thing that's bad, flies abound, everywhere. I'll never eat here again. read more

Delicious tacos. Top notch al pastor and chorizo. Delicious salsa. Fast and friendly service

This place is our go to for burritos! They are a generous size and will split it in half if you ask which makes it easy to share. Our favorite for breakfast is the Chorizo and for lunch/dinner the carnitas is amazing! I recommend calling them directly to order for pick up instead of using their online ordering system. We eat here at least once a week! read more

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - food service in the back of a market. Huge line that moves very quickly. Ordered asada, al pastor, and chicharron tacos. One of the better tacos we've had in a while a everything is flavorful, tender, and the sauces compliments the tacos well. They were generous with the proteins Ambience: n/a - food is to go only. The market is packed with food aisle very close together. They do have raw meat counters on the side if you prefer to cook yourself rather than to-go food Service: 5/5 - very quick and responsive! We had slight communication difficulties but it didn't cause any issues overall Value for price: 5/5 - quick place with yummy food to go read more

Best al pastor tacos with pineapple. Worth stopping! Next time will explore all the menu!

Food is always delicious but I always have something missing in my order. I live up at Heritage Ranch so it's hard to just come back and ask for the items that are missing. It's very frustrating so thats why I'm giving it 3 stars. read more

If you're visiting Paso to do wine tasting and want a delicious meal besides what the wineries offer, def come here for their tacos! It's a small little market, you order inside and they give you a ticket. Then you take your ticket outside to the little stand where you'll see the Al pastor spinning and wait for your order to be made. Full salsa bar (MY FAVORITE) with all your fixings. There's plenty of seats as well for you to enjoy your food. There's also food made to order inside the market near the back if you're looking for other options. I had their chicken quesadilla and was not disappointed - plenty of flavorful chicken and it came with sour cream, red hot sauce, green hot sauce, and pico de gallo. read more

Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would find this little nugget in Paso Robles! Good thing for yelp searches! We intended to come here for some authentic salsa to make quesadillas at home, it came to a great surprise. They had an Al Pastore booth add a little restaurant in the back you picked up some salsa and guacamole, and couldn't resist getting Carnitas but don't forget to get the tacos, everything was so delicious and authentic as if I was in Mexico. This place has definitely been bookmarked and it will be a stop for me everytime I'm in Paso. read more

We were staying in Paso Robles with some friends and decided to stop by to pick up some marinated meat to grill. We got fajitas and marinated chicken thigh/breast. Was a little disappointed that there wasn't any carne asada available. We also got some of the fresh salsas in the produce section. The green salsa had a nice kick to it. The hot food service looked good- I'd come back to try some tacos or burritos. read more

We came here to pick up a few groceries and left with them but also a few tacos. It was taco Tuesday and you can select from chicken, Carne Asada, or al Pastor each for $1.99. We ordered one of each, and we're pleasantly surprised at how delicious they were. read more

Our go to spot to buy all the "Taco Tuesday" goodies. From the meats to the veggies it's a one stop shop and fairly priced. They have premade guacamole, salsas, and pico which are really good, but I usually make my own from their produce. For meats we like the Al Pastor and Chicken Fajita the most. Staff is friendly and always greets us with an upbeat attitude. read more

Delicious Mexican food made fresh. I'm a huge fan of their $2.99 tacos always loaded with meat and toppings. Daily specials including Taco Tuesday! read more

I ordered 4 birria tacos (not quesadillas) the tacos had a tablespoon of meat, on each taco. I've ordered from here before and know this is not standard l- when I called them I let them know that 20 dollars for 4 tacos should have a little substance. I am at work and can't return the tacos, I don't get off until after they close and their only option was to come in and get a replacement. Disappointing to say the least. Still gave them a shot even after I was told by locals they've been shut down recently for rat infestation- I should have just listened. Save your money and go to Suprema, way cleaner, superior service. All 4 were the same amount of meat, more like quesadillas They tried responding to my google review asking if I had the right place, because they are very generous with their portions, so I posted a receipt as well, not even an apology. Bad business la Reyna. read more

If you are in Paso and want a great meal TO GO, stock up on groceries, fresh produce and sundries, give your business to the friendly folks at La Reyna. Yesterday I got a pair of tacos for $2 Taco Tuesday. Carne Asada and Pollo, one with red sauce the other with green. They are so hearty I ate them, outside with a fork in the socially distanced tables. The two tacos with an horchata were the perfect lunch. The sweet cinnamon of the horchata cooled the salsa burn. I also bought Chips, Salsa and Guacamole To Go. There are some unusual specialty items and worth perusing. read more
