A truly magical experience! Outstanding service from the moment we entered. We had the 3 sandwich tea using the vegetarian options. All were delicious - hummus and olive, goat cheese and red pepper and Caprese. The scone was one the best things I've eaten. Perfectly moist with raspberry jam and clotted cream. Desserts included a macaron crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and not too sweet. Also enjoyed a cream puff with chocolate ganache with a subtle hint of mint. Last was a raspberry mousse. It all paired perfectly with the apricot tea!
Breda in Slo is such a cute place for a Tea Party. Beautiful indoor seating & a beautiful petite outdoor garden. May I also add, Gourmet Chocolates! Came here to celebrate my now, sister-in-law's Bridal Shower. We had Reservations for a party of 8 + a child on a Sunday at noon. Bella was our lovely belle. She was super friendly, polite & gave great recommendations for all of us first timers. Thanks Bella for an awesome Tea Party Experience! Wonderful presentation of Afternoon Tea. We all went with the Signature Tea. It included a choice of Tea, an assortment of 5 petite sandwiches, 2 scones with jams, & 5 gourmet pastries. We ordered 4 orders of the Signature Tea, since it was meant for a pair to share. Four orders for 8.5 of us was perfect for a light lunch. Or an afternoon snack, lol. Note: It may not look like a lot, but having a whole pot of tea to yourself will definitely get you feeling full haha Everything was delicious! & super Cute! I was in love with their house made jam. I believe one of the owners came out to give me more info on the fruits used. Blueberry, Raspberry & Strawberry Jam. Yum! Definitely worth a try at Breda for a special occasion. As there aren't many Tea Places in the surrounding areas.
Came here for Galentine's Day and had a wonderful time! There was a little confusion on who was our server so we waited several minutes for someone come by to offer us water and take our drink order. The waitress was very apologetic about the misunderstanding. We ordered the Signature Tea, which comes with a pot of tea, a glass of Prosecco, 5 sandwiches, 5 desserts and a scone. Before our tea tower arrived, we were given 2 chocolates each to enjoy. They were very good. Our sandwiches included a cucumber with cream cheese, Prosciutto, hummus with green, ham with Brie, and Caprese. They were all very tasty. The scone was nice; just plain. The desserts were the highlight of the experience. I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet but packed so much flavor. I would go again for the desserts. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would gladly go again in the future!
We ordered the signature tier and it was sooo good. I really enjoyed everything on there. Tea was soo good and the food was small, but packed with flavor!! Absolutely delicious! The service was great and attentive to our needs , ambience was really cute , a beautiful setting with a charming elegance. It was my first experience there and I'd definitely return.
Came for the Alice in Wonderland tea...so beautifully decorated and such delicious food! This is such a great place to come for a fun tea experience.
This place is quaint and CUTE. Had a little solo date - tea, scones, chocolate, and everything was perfection. The jasmine pearls tea was delicate and delightful. Cute little spot!
I recently re-visited Breda for a themed afternoon tea and it was a fun experience! The theme of the day was ABBA, and we were serenaded with their music the entire time we were there. This was a festive event, and the restaurant was decorated with some disco attire. We were also encouraged to wear costumes, and the serving staff were all dressed up. That was a ton of fun! As is usually the case with afternoon tea, there was a prefix menu for the day following the ABBA theme and we were started off with sparkling wine and cotton candy. We were encouraged to drop pieces of the cotton candy into our champagne glasses and it caused a beautiful glittery effect. And that's what got the ball rolling. The food was plentiful and delicious as well as very creative. The price was $90 per person for this special themed tea. I have been to this location for their regular tea at $75 per person which includes all the food and tea but no alcohol, which is available for an extra charge. It was nice to have the sparkling wine as part of the themed package and refills were only $10 each. I highly recommend you try Breda, if not for afternoon tea then for any of the other items they have on their menu, which is creative and delicious.
Giving Breda a 2.5/5. Not sure what was up with the atmosphere here, but the vibes were so off. The energy in the room felt so heavy and tbh we couldn't wait to leave. When we first got there the energy the server gave us was pretty lackluster in comparison to the white family that was sat before us. At no point did we ever really feel welcome despite trying our best to just enjoy the experience. I appreciate the fact that they let you share a tier of sandwiches and desserts. Some tea rooms are weird about that. The sandwiches were okay. Not the best, not the worst. I thought it was odd that the tea pot came halfway filled and unfiltered. I personally don't like the little twigs and leaves floating around in my tea and I didn't realize anyone else did? The desserts were cute. Presentation for everything is very pretty, but some of the desserts tasted like they just came out of the freezer, so they kinda hurt your teeth/feel a little cold upon first bite. The worst part for me was finding a little hair in the carrot cake. Definitely wasn't expecting that, since the place gives off such a clean and prim vibe. The food was decent. I think the presentation is pretty, but to be honest would not come back again because the vibes were just so bad. I can't be the only Latina that's dined there. But was certainly made felt like I didn't belong.
Loved the ambiance. It's a great space and perfect cafe to take your family or grandparents to if they're visiting. There were long time friends getting lunch and lots of mother-daughter dates happening. I came for a little bday treat with my husband and the chocolate mousse dessert was lovely. The scones were my favorite.
Elegant, Elevated Sophistication within 4 walls! Had a Fantastic "High Tea" w the help of this gorgeous & inviting experience. I wanted to find a relaxing, ambient, somewhat exclusive & exciting place to bring friends & enjoy conversation and the absolute BEST sweet treats, incredible sandwiches served, and the tea is Divine! Also; Don't sleep on their Prosecco. Peachy but floral notes paired perfectly with the scones, sandwiches, & hand made confections. What are you waiting for? Walk in or Reservations are available
What a fun afternoon tea! Just so happens that my reservations I made a couple weeks prior turned out to be on a disco themed day. So that was a lot of fun. The table decor and flower wall was the only part of the interior that seemed like an afternoon tea aesthetic, otherwise it seemed more industrial with the exposed ceiling. Noticed at the very end of our tea when using the restroom that they have a back patio area where they also would serve tea at, that was very aesthetically pleasing. The bites of foods were tasty and the tea was very enjoyable!
Believe the hype!!!! We stopped in after seeing all the postings online about this place and let me tell you it was well worth it! Service was great first off very pleasant and nice, pastries were top notch and so delicious. You know the kind of treat when you taste the first bite and want to savor it forever? Yeah, these desserts do that Great job Breda. Ambiance was fantastic, we were gonna just pick up and walk home but we were invited to sit down by the wonderful staff. So we had coffee and hot chocolate to go with our pastries. We will be returning to your establishment to try new treats. Thanks again Breda
I enjoyed high tea service on the patio. I like the decor. It's peaceful and the aesthetic is consistent. My server was incredibly kind, authentic and helpful. I think her name is Lena. - The red rooibos tea was delicious! I particularly loved the dairy free, nut free Matcha soft serve. I hope that this is added to the menu for individual purchase in the near future. - The tower had a great presentation factor. My favorite sandwich was the ham and brie with honey. My only feedback is the cost of my club soda was eight dollars which I would've liked to have known at the time of purchase. In addition, investing in environmentally friendly to go containers such as paper would be wonderful. read more
Breda's was such a great experience. My sister and I went for afternoon tea . The place is so bright and airy with beautiful decor. The place is casual but classy. Not a tee and jeans type of place, dress up a bit or you'll really stand out (not in a good way). The tea and food were excellent! I would love to visit again sometime. read more

5* for the cakes, 3* for chocolate bonbons Chocolate bonbons: look cute, flavors sound interesting but the taste is nothing special. Go to a real chocolatier Cakes: we got 2. chocolate cake soaked in espresso with pistachio, chocolate ganache and cocoa dusting on top. The cake layer was incredibly moist with just a good hint of coffee to not overpower everything else going on in the cake. I'd say this is a fancy middle eastern adaptation of a tiramisu. And they nailed it. Coconut passion fruit: chocolate shells with coconut and passion fruit fillings. Fun little contrast with some tart and creamy flavor. Good but not like "ooooh I need to go back for this coconut cake" good. read more

We took my 12 year-old nieces for a special treat. We ordered a variety of desserts and loved all of them. The mousses were delicious, especially the strawberry. The dolce de Leche brownie is a must try. That was our favorite thing off the desert menu. We also took some special chocolates home. Would go back again. read more

Cute place! Brought my wife in for her birthday. We enjoyed the pastries and yap session. We came in when it was slow so we had the opportunity to just sit and yap away the afternoon! Definitely will come back for more. read more

What a treat! We came here to celebrate Father's Day and were so excited about afternoon tea. We were seated by the lovely flower wall, the ambiance is exceptional. Wide open space, very clean and with the comfiest chairs perfect for tea and chatting. These chairs even kept our kid from fidgeting. The menu was fantastic, very reasonably priced for the quality of food. Service was also excellent, had multiple check ins to include a refresh on tea and milk. We lived in England and are familiar with afternoon tea. The quality of food reminded me of the fanciest of teas in London and Oxford, but with the casual California vibe we love (no snootiness). We will be back here for date night soon. Oh and the bathrooms were very clean, which is also representative of the establishment. I'd give this place 6 stars if able! read more

We came here for Father's Day high tea and loved every minute of it! The food was super tasty and the desserts were just amazing. We loved Florencia's desserts when she was located in Mistura so we knew it was going to be yummy! Our toddler couldn't get enough of them. The kids' plate was great, but he also happily ate off our plates (especially the sweets!). The scones were perfect, and the clotted cream and strawberry basil jam were so good. The portions were just right and we left feeling full and happy. The service was spot on; friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We appreciated Florencia coming to the table to explain what all the goodies were. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice, relaxing high tea for any occasion. We'll be back! read more

My husband and I tried out this new afternoon tea place in SLO. Our only other western style afternoon tea style experience was at the Empress in Victoria Canada (we've had plenty of dim sum though). The highlights for me were the tea and novelty of the experience in SLO. They take care to let their tea shine: specific temperatures for different teas and variety of tea selection, but the tea sommelier wasn't there to let us know what year the green teas were harvested. For one order of an afternoon tea set they give each person a pot of tea. I chose the dian hong (a Yunnan red tea), and my husband got the oolong shui xian, which were pretty good. The actual food was ok: pretty small bites, but packed with flavor. We got a selection of mouses that were a little too sweet and rich for us, though they pair well with unsweetened tea. I think I would prefer more variety of textures. I would go back for more of their tea and would try more of their savory offerings. It's a good place to go with friends for a fancy social gathering. Clean and cute setting to hangout. read more
