WOW, a delicate Chocolate Cover over a Airy Fluffy Caramel filled Delicacy. This is my first time enjoying such a wonderful pastry delight. I am truly amazed at the flavorful cake honey cake inside I am pleased that I was offered this as a yelp elite and I will be referring Honeybee SLO To all my friends and those I know that are visiting the Central Coast. Honeybee you got a great big thumbs up this was fantastic I look forward to my next visit at Honeybee SLO. And the Cute little Guy helping with Delivery, was so happy, if he did a good job he gets to spend the night with his Grandma, which appeared to be an exciting event for him and Grandma

We enjoyed our first taste of Honey Bee SLO this afternoon and cannot wait to get our hands on more! The Honey Cake with Dulce de Leche was filled with amazing flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and honey. Do keep an eye out for them online as they can ship their delicate goodies anywhere in California.

Cute little cookie and ice cream shop we discovered on an evening stroll through downtown San Luis…read moreObispo. It's tucked away on a side street and if you aren't looking for it, you might miss it. Loved all the design elements, many of which must be original to when the building was first built. Almost throws you back in time. There were 4 cookie choices and were even displayed by the window facing the street but we completely missed seeing them when we walked up. I believe there were 8 ice cream flavors to choose from as well. I was in the mood for a chewy warm cookie and my husband, ice cream. I got a large, thin, oatmeal cookie and he chose strawberry cheesecake ice cream. We enjoyed them both as we continued walking downtown. The cookie was the perfect amount of chewiness and not crumbly. Despot it being thin, there was a perfect balance of the brown sugar and oatmeal flavor in every bite. Did not miss having chocolate chips or raisins in it either. I wish I had bought two!!! The ice cream was very creamy and a nice subtle cheesecake flavor. The strawberry flavor came from actual pieces of strawberries on the ice cream. The service was pleasant and the ambiance was calm. Perfect way to top off the evening stroll!

Feels like Istanbul, Turkiye with the Ambiance, Turkish lamps, aromas and Turkish confectionery…read moredisplayed! What a delight to stroll upon a Lokum on Higuera Street in beautiful San Luis Obispo or "SLO" as locals seem to tag it in their marketing. Having visited the famous Istanbul Bazar several years a go and purchased Turkish lamps for our home, we indeed feel "Right at home"! In the SLO Lokum store. Over the decades we have appreciated the sugary Turkish Delight and baklava treats. It has been both of our late father's favorite deserts and my Dad live in Altayna, Turkiye for a decade so I can appreciate the delicious offerings as after diner offering. Our host was extremely friendly, helpful and generous in our sampling and guidance about our inquiries. We left with a special experience and amble confectionery items for our travels back to San Francisco! Highly recommend Lokum!

I was excited to try the baklava from this place, but I felt like they could've been better…read more To try, I had the triangle pistachio, chocolate pistachio, and pistachio roll. Flavorwise, these were all pretty good, but could've been doused in less rose syrup. What I felt could've been better was the texture. The ones I got weren't fresh since the roll and triangle seemed stale. The freshest and crispiest one I had was the chocolate one though. For $5-$6 for a tiny piece of baklava, this was too overpriced for what was given. I would be given larger portions of baklava at around the same price at nice sit down restaurants. Additionally, the service here wasn't the best. I was ignored by the staff who opted to serve 2 groups of white people who came in after me. When I was finally served, the staff weren't very welcoming or friendly to me. Not sure if this was racially motivated, but that was my perception of the vibe. Overall, pretty disappointed with the experience. I would maybe try this again, but wouldn't come out of my way to try this again.

I think her name is Lena. - The red rooibos tea was delicious! I particularly loved the dairy free, nut free Matcha soft serve. I hope that this is added to the menu for individual purchase in the near future. - The tower had a great presentation factor. My favorite sandwich was the ham and brie with honey. My only feedback is the cost of my club soda was eight dollars which I would've liked to have known at the time of purchase. Dessert Climate Tea…read morehouse and dessert shop born from the kitchen of Brazilian-born, Italian-raised pastry chef and chocolatier Florencia Breda, whose claim to fame was being a finalist on the recent Food Network competition show "Ultimate Baking Championship." This is how we came to know about her and her shop, as we made a special pit stop to visit Breda in downtown SLO on the way home from a SoCal trip. The Good: * More than just desserts, as they also offer afternoon tea services, as well as a curated selection of savory foods like pizza, salads, and sandwiches. * Afternoon tea reservations are available via OpenTable. * We just came in to grab some of her beautiful monoportions which were featured on the show, and they did not disappoint. They were absolutely stunning and looked surreal. * I didn't try the mango one, but my son said it was delicious, so I'll take his word for it. * The raspberry monoportion was as delicious as it was fantastic. I am sad it fell apart on the four-hour trip home to SJ from SLO before I could fully capture its beauty. The Meh: * Street parking only. * Service was OK but nothing noteworthy. * The peanut monoportion was just OK. The peanut flavor was a bit muted for our liking. The Ugly: * Prices are available online, but nothing was marked in the store, which is one of my pet peeves. Conclusion: Probably 3.5 stars, but rounded up because we were really only in and out and didn't try enough.
