Everything is so Yummy the staff are so nice and friendly, we get items from Edna's all the time and we are very happy!

My hotel had cellophane-wrapped Edna pastries (an assortment of muffins and scones) for breakfast. They were certainly GOOD, but certainly not GREAT. The chocolate muffin was like a moist chocolate cake, so no complaints there -- I had it for dessert one night. But I'd rather have fresh-baked muffins, of course, than pre-wrapped commercial ones. Edna is a local wholesale bakery, so kudos to my hotel (the Lamplighter) for at least choosing a local supplier. read more

Had their cheese danish while at the Embassy Suites in Lompoc, as they served other pastries to-go (in heat seal plastic wrap) from Edna's during their breakfast buffet. The danish was a little hard and dry. I think if I had toasted it, it would've been very tasty. Well, I brought home a chocolate chocolate chip muffin and I toasted it. OMG. It was so moist and decadent! I bet these are how they taste when they sell them at their store. I can't wait to visit it when I'm in SLO. read more

Wheres the Blueberry mini muffins, Better grab glass milk Chocolate mini muffins, the apple jelly 1/16" thick on doughy flavor roll, and the Gotta Heat it if You Wanna Eat It Cinnamon rolls: the first, dry, tasteless bite gets, "Doesn't the owner realize how dry these are? My favorite bread is the Dutch Crunch there is a story here. Yes I would drive 86 miles round trip for that all inspiring bread and excellent customer service Edna alone provides. Just make sure you've already made your deli cuts run and have enough soft spread favorite butter around for awhile before hand. read more

Okay, I'm very conflicted and I'd welcome comments or opinions. Today I bought a couple of whoopie pies for my kids. It was a special treat. Plus, I realized that I had never had one myself. I assumed that the local bakery name brand meant that it would be delicious. It was not!! Each kid got one and I took a little nibble. It tasted dead-on like a week old betty crocker cake mix w/ some kind of fakey creme stuff in the middle. It wasn't marshmallowy at all! I couldn't get the chemical taste out of my mouth for the rest of the evening. My kids abandoned them on the plates after a valiant effort. Maybe they were super stale? The ingredients weren't listed on the package. Edna's has a very heartfelt and convincing website about their wholesome and natural ingredients. Are they full of beans? Because those whoopie pies tasted like something manufactured in New Jersey. Im not cutting too many stars because I genuinely don't know if their other products are good and I don't want to slam a good company for one bad product. read more

We took a detour on our wine tasting in Paso Robles to pick up some scones we had from the Adelaide Inn. We called Edna's bakery to make sure they before we drive down 30 minutes drive out of our way. Boy were surprised when we saw a warehouse and bought 4 boxes of scones, 2 boxes of cookies, 2.5 boxes of muffins, and 4 bags of baked orkra and beets chips. Sergio even gave us a tour of the bakery warehouse. The entire staff was accommodating, friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back on our to wineries and order before hand and bring back to the Bay Area. read more

Most delicious muffins ever! So the address here is the wholesale warehouse. (They are going to eventually turn part of it into a retail storefront) Do let that deter you! They are more than happy to sell to individuals but it does come in bulk. This bakery rocks my socks! We visited Pismo this past weekend. Found a Hotel late at night (what a miracle!) so we stayed. Next morning strolled over to breakfast and found these nice little lookin muffins. I cracked open the blueberry muffin and my mouth fell into a coma, dazed I started to see unicorns! Sorry but I ran back to the dining area while my mouth salivated all over my sandals and I shoved handfuls of it in my pocket and my tray like a boss (as my kids would say). I didnt care who was looking, I wasnt even ashamed. I mean we paid for it right?! Who cares, now I have to revive my taste buds after every lunch break at work. They really don't mess around. I stopped in one day because I've heard of Ednas products before, just to take a look. All I was really looking for was a blueberry muffin but then found out that they do way more than just muffins. They do a lot more. Ended up walking out of there with some Dutch crunch buns and some savory jalapeño cheddar croissants. Delish! The crew there was also very polite and the owner was very knowledgeable about the product and really seemed to care. read more
