Don't ever do online order to be delivered! The order was so screwed up plus supposedly if you order before noon your order will be delivered the same day, not true! Plus the delivery company told me it was a standard order and they didn't have to deliver the same day, poor customer service! Plus half my order was to be delivered and the other half was store pick up, how stupid is that! I talked to an employee when I received an email saying my order was ready for pickup and he said to ignore it that it was out for delivery. I ended up going to the store to pickup my order and told them to refund my delivery charge but they said the refund had to be refunded through the delivery company. What's up with that! I have never had an issue that needed resolving and have always loved shopping here. They have a good selection of most things i need for my animals and some fun stuff for myself. When a technical glitch cost me $100 (that i really needed to buy hay) i called the store and spoke to Justin, the manager. Although he was not ab le to fix the problem, he referred me to someone who did. Justin listened to my issue. Fully. He spoke slowly and calmly and with respect. What impressed me were the words he chose to use instead of the fake feeling usual customer service lingo we have all heard a million times. The way he talked to me was different. I sincerely felt that he listened and wanted to help. He wanted me to continue loving TSC not just because it was his job but because he cared. He cared about my situation and he cared about the outcome. Before we hung up, he kindly offered i could call him back if i could not resolve the issue. I called the number he gave me and spoke with a really nice lady named Janet. She could not figure out what was going on either but she tried really hard and was also very patient and listened to me to (even when i was confused and agitated). She was able to keep me calm and she remedied the situation to make me whole again. After speaking with Justin and Janet, i left feeling even better about TSC as a company that really cares about customers they haven't met yet locally, or speaking over the phone from across the country. went to the tractor supply in Paso Robles last night , which I've been a customer for over 6 years, to buy a 3 string bale to feed my animals . The manager named Leslie. Said he would not load or even get a bale out of the trailer for me to load myself because he was to busy loading a trailer. So I left pissed , when I drove around the back. I'm really bummed I have to write this review. I have spent over $5,000.00 this month and this last month before that in merchandise in building my homestead. I shop here daily. I walk around the store and I find things I may need, read instructions and additives, etc. The last two times Ive been in this one lady proceeds to follow me around and ask me if I need anything but like with this rude look on her face, and more like she is watching me. I have a credit card to this store, I also spend significant cash here by the way. Today I go around the store and I met this friendly lady that told me all about her horses and suggested things to me about my horse wit cushings disease. I went to the front and the computer always freezes and I have to stand at the register for like 20+ minutes, so I went to self checkout. I scanned all my items 200$ worth of items well the cashier Rosy was literally staring at me then comes up and is like "did you scan something extra?" and scrolled my order on the screen... THEN... canceled the whole order and scanned all my items for me?!? WHY would you call it self check out? why would you cancel my order? Literally made me feel like a thief!!! It was obvious she wasn't "Helping me avoid scanning extra" I'm not incompetent. If you don't trust your customers, don't have self check out. Period. I will just avoiding shopping here in the future, such a bummer, it was my favorite store. Lost good business, because I sure do spend a lot there. Tractor Supply is one of the few farm/feed stores in the area open on Sunday. This has been a lifesaver on multiple occasions because they stock common farm medicines, feed and supplies. The animals do not decide not to get sick or need help on Sunday. Selection is not always the best but it works in a pinch, so docking one star. read more

I called them to ask if they had a pizza peel in stock. The person who I talked to didn't know what it was. No worries, I told her it's the thing you use to get a pizza in and out of a pizza oven. She cut me off, saying they don't have anything for pizza ovens. I told her that they have them on their website and was wondering if they might have them in stock. What a joke this place is. Employees are not helpful, look the other way when you see them. I came in to get a chainsaw, the girl at the front said go stand at the chainsaws and I'll call someone. I stood there for between 10 and 15 min while other employees just walked past me without even looking at me and the girl at the front just helped other people without taking a second look at me. We were trying to buy two livestock gates. We asked the person in the gate area if we needed to bring in the SKU numbers or tags on the gates. He said no, "they would have them at the front". Twice we were charged for the wrong gates because they didn't know what gates we wanted (because we were told NOT to bring up the SKU numbers on the gates). We assumed we received two refunds, and a charge for the correct gates. Upon leaving, we noticed we received only ONE credit, not two. So-we are already on the freeway and have to turn around and get this straightened out. The people that work here are friendly and helpful, but here we are-back at Tractor Supply and they are trying to fix this problem. So far-we've been here for an hour and we have two huge charges on our debit card for over $450.00 and this problem HAS NOT BEEN SORTED OUT. read more

Normally I love this place but in my opinion, they really showed their "box store" service the other day. Purchased a 600 auger attachment, which was in a wooden crate, and did not realize till I got home that an auger is not included. Call me an idiot to not know that or ask, but they should have mentioned it or at least try to update me one. Then, I drove back to the store and got one. Went back home to assemble it and realized that it does not come with/needs gear lubricant. CAll me an idiot again but they should have mentioned it and yo sold it to me. Also needed to buy 2 additional pins. Normally this stuff would not be a huge deal but given that I'm being a ranch equipment for a ranch, it was a lot of driving to and from. Ended up buying the auger and gear lube somewhere else. Customer service was not there that day. No one helped me at any point, besides driving the forklift. read more

As of July 10, 2018 after confirming with Master Card that Tractor Supply has not yet refunded the money nor replied to the dispute I was forced to open to get a refund, yet another call was made to the store again . Talked to both Tom (asst manager) and Leslie (asst manager) both do not understand that until a full refund is made the disputed funds will remain in limbo. Leslie acknowledged she committed to a full refund earlier but changed her mind after we talked. She promised to have Tom (store manager) contact me. June 21 Called Tractor Supply Paso Robles to follow up on as no email correspondence had been received regard the refund again spoke to Leslie (as to manager) got another load of "I thought corporate would do that but since I've been on maternity leave the policy has changed, we now do refunds at the store level. I will do the refund for the full amount today." June 9th talked with Leslie (asst manager) on Sat at 9:23am. Leslie claimed had I driven to the store again the credit would have been immediate, but since I called the credit will now take two weeks. June 4 - 6 Talked with 4 people on the phone, Tom (assistant manager), John (manager), Kate (sales), and Jennifer (sales). Also went into the store two folks were there no help was available (June 5th at about 7:30pm). One associate commenced helping me but could not find the order, then left to help another customer that happened by before we were finished. Too much disorganization to continue to to business with Tractor Supply. There are too many efficient organizations that provide excellent customer service to online buyers. I'm really glad this location opened in Paso! The old Kmart will never be missed. They have a good selection of feed and general ranch products along with some clothing and random yard stuff. Their cracked corn is priced very well and always in stock, unlike Walmart which frequently had empty shelves. Friendly service overall and they get you on your way reasonably quickly. I was injured at work due to my managers not following company policy. I had to have rotator cuff and bicep surgery. Severe scarring on the other arm. While off on work comp medical leave. I love Tractor Supply! Their prices for grain and basic horse supplies are competitive and I can always find some sort of hardware item I need while I'm there as well (snaps, duct tape, WD-40 etc) Their staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I have been shopping at various Tractor Supply locations for years, and only once did I ever get a bag of grain that was moldy. (Sometimes this just happens.) They replaced it for me with no questions asked weeks later (I live in San Luis Obispo so it's a bit of a drive for me to get up there.) AND no receipt! Excellent customer service. I have no idea how many bags of grain I've bought from TS over the years, it would probably be frightening to find out! Very happy with the products they sell and represent. read more
