Agape was within walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to stop in for breakfast during our trip to Paso Robles. The restaurant was very busy, and since it was a pretty hot September day, it was a little warm inside as well. Despite how crowded they were, the service was great. I believe our server was Bertha, and she was so sweet and took great care of us. The menu has a little bit of everything, from pancakes, French toast and omelets to more traditional Mexican breakfast dishes. We decided on the chilaquiles, and let me tell you, the portions are HUGE! These plates can easily be shared between two people, especially if you don't have a huge appetite. The chilaquiles were flavorful and good. Were they the best chilaquiles I've had in Paso Robles? No, but I still enjoyed them and would recommend giving them a try. Just come hungry or bring someone willing to share! I also ordered a vanilla shake, which was thick, creamy and exactly what you want from a simple old-school shake. My partner had the peach iced tea, which she enjoyed as well. I would definitely come back to Agape. Next time, I think I'd go for more of a classic breakfast and try one of their omelets or pancakes. We walked just a few blocks from our hotel to Agape Restaurant 8:39 looking for a substantial breakfast to start the day, and it ended up being such a great find. We split the Agape chilaquiles with verde sauce since the portions were very generous, and they were absolutely delicious! I also tried café de olla for the first time, a Mexican spiced coffee with cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, and other spices, and it was phenomenal! Easily one of the highlights of breakfast. Service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant had a relaxed, local feel that we really enjoyed. We loved it so much that we were hoping to come back the next morning, only to discover they're closed on Sundays. Definitely a place we'd return to next time we're in Paso Robles! It had been a long time since we had such a delicious breakfast! My family and I decided to give this place a try, and I honestly just want to thank God for bringing us here. Agape is our go-to breakfast spot. Sometimes we go a few times a week! You can tell it's a lot of locals and regulars, but I'm sure tourists never feel out of place. The servers are always so incredibly kind- sometimes they get busy and can be a bit slow, but it's completely family run and they're so sweet that we don't mind. The food is great. It's consistent, flavorful, well priced, and great portion sizes. I never leave hungry. I've only ever gotten breakfast but I imagine their lunch is decent. The only sad part is they don't have mimosas for breakfast! If you want that you need to go to their sister restaurant, Brother's Cafe. read more

Decor was nice and plenty of space. Its clean and staff super friendly. We made our choices of what to eat huevos ranchers and a egg with crispy bacon breakfast and hash browns. Our meall was brought up promptly, and exactly how we ordered it. The plates are actually pretty large. So if you're not a big eater, you could probably share.There is a two ninety five plate sharing free. The huevo rancheros were a big hit, and we would definitely order that again. Found a restaurant, that I like, right by a Tesla charging station- same complex! I loved the Fiesta Omelette! The chorizo was seasoned and cooked so well. Generous serving! You may split/share a plate for a fee. The waffle was excellent and the cinnamon roll was yummy, the frosting tasted so good. Service was good. We came in around 10am on a Friday and it is packed. Luckily, there was not wait so we were seated right away. The servers were friendly, coffee was filled right away when empty. I was welcomed with a very prompt, friendly and engaging greeting upon entering. I ordered two breakfast burritos to go. They took approx. 15 mins to make and the result was totally worth it. It was filled to the brim with all of the delicious ingredients that were well prepared. It's quite a large burrito and could feed two if your appetite is smaller. The salsas were also tasty with just the right amount of spiciness. I didn't want to eat the whole thing but I couldn't help myself. It was that good. We were still looking forward to our breakfast this time and we were very satisfied with our meals light and fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs and steak for my husband, and we both shared from each other's choices of breakfast. When we have breakfast, we want it all so we share, good thing he's my husband. They have good service great coffee, attentive staff clean restrooms.
