I love a counter service spot. You order your food sit in the small patio area and when it's ready you pick it up at the window. It was sprinkling that day and this patio area was covered but had openings. So I had to get a hoodie and blankets to stay warm. We were the only ones there so surprised that it took awhile but I'll wait for good food. We started with chips and salsa, which were really crispy and freshly made. They also gave us a tray of three sauces and napkins. We ordered a carne asada quesadilla. Great portion and not light on the meat. We also had kiss Siberia plates three of those and we shared this came with five Quesabirria tacos. I'd say about the size of a street taco it came with of course the consume. It was delicious crispy lots of meat. My daughter got the kids quesadilla also a nice serving we drank water, but my one son got Horchata and that was fire. read more

I've had their chorizo breakfast burrito with potatoes. The flavor was great and decent size. Staff was on it, only took a few minutes to make. I saw their hours changed so keep this in mind if you're looking for an early day meal. read more

I LOVED the burrito. It was crisp on the outside with a good selection of sauces. The chorizo was well seasoned and mixed well with all the ingredients. My only beef was the wait. I wasn't the only one thinking it was taking forever. Another couple almost left. It took about 30 minutes for the burrito to come out. I'm usually pretty lenient when it comes to waits if it is communicated but there was no communication or even "sorry for the wait" said after. It was also a bummer because you tip at the counter when you order and I felt my tip was pretty generous but then didn't get the service I would expect. I really felt bad for the group of 6 people whose food came out one by one with one person finished as the last person got their food. Again a simple communication goes a long way. It could have been a bad day and their food made up for the lack of service so that's why they still get a 4. read more

This place will not disappoint. I've tried a few different things from the menu and I've yet to find one that is meh. Birria tacos- good, quesabirria- extra fire, birria ramen- delicious, burritos are big and they do not skimp on the ingredients. The orange rice is packed with flavor. Breakfast burrito is amazing. Horchata is perfect. I love the simplicity of the menu. And great friendly service too 10/10 read more

My new favorite spot! I just had the birria ramen and asada tacos - so delicious! The tacos had great flavor, no nerve, and weren't too oily. They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. I kept expecting to get to only broth, but kept getting pleasantly surprised to find more ramen. The cooking area looked very clean. The seating area was clean too but I noticed a few stains on the table I sat at. Minor nitpick. I was getting takeout anyway so it wasn't a problem. I will definitely become a regular. I ordered the Birria Ramen and it was very filling! There is only outdoor seating so if it's a really hot day, that might be uncomfortable. However, service was great and the parking situation was easy as they had their own parking lot! Next time, I will try their burrito! read more

From the street, it doesn't really stand out. Nice sign, but what is it? A little tag-line that says "Mexican Food" would help. Plus, what's with the name? I'm told it was originally a food truck. Well, the name is one of a kind, too. Ample parking lot, you can quickly park, then walk right up and order at the counter. About 8-10 outdoor seating available, good for a warmer day. Great menu...I think I would have ordered each and every item. I ordered a shredded beef burrito, and took it "to go". When I got home, wow. It was absolutely huge. It was the XL tortilla, folded at the bottom and rolled, but the top was open like a wrapped sandwich. Lightly fried on the outside, it was so so good. I'll be back. I'm dreaming of trying the quesabirria tacos...mmmmm read more

Excellent Mexican restaurant in Paso. Ordered the birria burrito, loved the fact that there was a substantial amount of beef. Cheese was delicious, onions adding great flavor as well, great burrito. The sauces were great too, they had a traditional green and a fairly spicy but tasty red sauce. Definitely would return. read more

We happened by this spot in Paso Robles while traveling for the weekend. WOW!! What a hidden gem!! This is a family run small restaurant that REALLY knows exactly what they are doing as far as taste and creating a great experience for their customers! We were greeted by the cashier, Isaac. A very warm and welcoming young man who gave us advice and helped us land with Burris Ramen, Asada torta (AA+++)!! The bathroom was sparkling clean and the facility was all very tidy overall. At one point I dropped a napkin, and then TADA... suddenly there was an employee outside picking it up! This family was a joy to get to know, and they were all so kind and made us feel like we were old family friends! Would find here again and again! Everything we had was delicious and cooked very well!! MUST try when you're in Paso Robles again! GREAT Food made by a very friendly and hard working family! Exceptional vibes! read more

We stopped by doing a tour of Paso Robles looking for the best tacos. We tried 7 different spots and we unanimously voted this as the best tacos in Paso. The prices are amazing too. After eating our tacos, we considered stoping our mission and just ordering more food here. Meat - excellently cooked both the asada and the birria. Tender and juicy. Salsas - delicious and perfect Mexican medium spice Tortillas - cooked on the flat top so slightly crispy, slightly flavored by the meat. Perfect. read more

I ordered the quesabirria's and a chorizo breakfast burrito. The quesabirria's are tiny by the way and the consomé does not have much flavor, very watered down. Also, the burrito had so much potato with a sprinkle of chorizo. However, the burrito was nice and crispy on the outside. The salsa seems fresh. read more

The ambiance of the restaurant was clean and nice . I like how they decorated it for the holidays. Living in the area I have driven by this place a few times and today decided to stop and place an order. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and I was able to tell him a story about the days when their building was Fosters Freeze. I ordered a simple bean and cheese burrito with a side of rice and an asada burrito. My husband and I were very surprised at how good the food is. One of a Kind is not your everyday Mexican food. This little white building that seems to blend in with its surroundings is a nice little gem with a new and flavorful menu. Give it a try, I'm sure you will agree. read more

YUM YUM YUM. You know the food is going to be good when the red salsa actually has spice to it. Friendly suggestion to taste test it before a full pour. The birria tacos are delicious, the consommé is so flavorful you can drink it. The birria ramen is only $8 and it's huge. The girl we ordered from was super polite!The seating style is outside the restaurant and there is a walk up window to order. It looks like they are working on a drive thru. LOVE IT! read more

I've lived in paso for a few years and this business has completely transformed the location they're at! So much more clean and more inviting. I am a burrito guy and I rate off of certain items on the menu which are very common such as carne asada tried it it was very Bland I asked for a certain way I did not want cream on it or guacamole all I wanted was cilantro onions and Pico but they added sour cream instead got it home was very unhappy that it was in there I actually threw the burrito away halfway through it and then pulled it back out scrape the meat out for my dogs it did not taste very well it was Bland and it was not how I ordered it I was very specific at the front window and I still got it not how I ordered it good attitude for the people though I have to say that they were very nice I have to say I will be driving by next time looking for a stand thank you for listening. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We're a bit snooty when it comes to tacos since we live in LA but this place definitely is up there in birria tacos. We got the quesabirria combo and the birria torta. Both delicious! Consomé was really flavorful too. Beware of the red sauce - it's REALLY HOT. My husband and I are locals and visited One of a Kind on a Sunday morning. What a great find! The breakfast burritos were delicious. The tortillas were large and homemade, the refried beans and salsa were delicious too. We watched the group at the next table order very large bowls of menudo. It looked great. This is a very casual, walk-up only, eat outside kind of place. We can't wait to return to try the tacos and other menu items! The prices are reasonable and fair. Service was outstanding. read more

A well themed decor diner that's open from 6am-2pm daily, The Cowgirl Cafe serves up a mean breakfast & lunch and boy did I enjoy it. 2 Eggs sunny side up, corned-beef hash, their Chef's Special Home Fry Potatoes, a side of toast, & a cup of coffee... All served with that hometown, local hospitality from our server who waited on us... You know, just like a cowboy, I tipped my hat to her and tipped her very well for her excellent service. As mentioned earlier.... The Cowgirl Cafe is open from 6am-2pm daily, so for you early risers who live the Cowboy life of waking up before the Sunrise, a hot meal will waiting for you. But don't fret if you are new to this Cowboy/Cowgirl rise and shine, get the day started off early business... Cause they serve breakfast up until 2pm (or until the cows come home). YeeHaw!!! Service: Excellent, so warm and friendly, the server was so sweet and every single staff person were so nice. Ambiance: homey, country cute diner. Noteworthy: Food was traditional and delicious but the customer service was the best. Thank you for a great start to our morning

The famous ranchero sauce was good, but quite spicy! Kept eating it despite getting heated from spice, since it added the flavors. - Chilaquiles supreme = chilaquiles was good, but the tri tip piece from the supreme upgrade made it too chewy and detracted from the base chilaquiles. * I think the regular chilaquiles would be the better choice to enjoy without distraction of tri tip pieces. Or maybe ask if can make the supreme with other protein choices maybe some chopped up bacon or sausage pieces instead if allowed to substitute? - The hash browns side was perfect and delicious! Definitely wins over the homefries option. - Cinnamon roll = huge and a meal on it's own. was too much after the 2 entree's The menu is so vast, I think it's a winner as long as you stay away from entrees with tr tips. I just went too all in on tri tips, lol. Would love to try again sticking to the diner classics of pork chops or chicken fried steak, or the ny steak and eggs, or any omelettes or burritos.

My husband really liked his chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a grilled chicken breast with cheese, BBQ sauce, tomatoes, sprouts and grilled onions. It was topped with sour cream. The soup was also very good. My California chicken burger was good, but the chicken breast was extremely dry and lacked seasoning. I had to add salt, and that made it better. There was bacon, avocado, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion with a special sauce on it. The fries were perfect. I'd definitely stop by here again and try something else. Staff were friendly and attentive.
