Really cute spot with great character. We went for breakfast and it's just a solid easy, quick breakfast spot

A local hangout that won't disappoint! We went in on a Thursday and the waitress was amazing. Really good people with great food!

The food is just OK. I ordered the chicken fried steak and the gravy was overwhelmingly rich. I couldn't finish it. While we were there all the servers were petting a dog that was in the restaurant , that kind of grossed me out.

Food was delicious? Service was quick and easy. It's quite a little cozy place to take your family for breakfast and lunch. Host, waitress and cooks were very welcoming. Feels like home.

This cafe is a local hotspot. You will recognize this by the fact that there are plenty of pick-up trucks out front in the morning g when most other places are still closed. Friendly is an understatement for this place. The "Howdy, come on in" invitations were abundant. The host seated us and he sweetly asked if we wanted water with our coffee. Debbie was our server and she was so pleasant and friendly, we felt like family. My husband is a picky chicken fried steak connoisseur and gave it two thumbs up here. I had two pancakes the size of a basketball. The decor is rich in western memorabilia ( as to be expected) and fun to look at as you eat. More importantly is the attitude of the place. It feels authentically hometown welcoming with comfort food and nice people. Oh there is outdoor seating where a lot of folks sat today with pets. If that is a concern for you, this is a good pet friendly spot too.

I was in Paso Robles with my wife on the 4th of July and this was one of the few places open. It wasn't very busy despite being a holiday. We were seated right away and our server promptly brought us coffee and water. I ordered the kielbasa with eggs and my wife got the loaded potato skins. The food was good but not amazing. We were happy to have something to eat before going to Hearst Castle. It was a good option for it being our only option, but I would check out other spots before coming back here.

Cheeseburger with Bacon and Thousand Island

There was a short line for a table at around 10:30am on a Sunday. The only complaint my husband had was that the two tables at the back with the booths facing out had four legs. He didn't realize that and when we tried to scoot into the booth, he banged his leg really bad. Other than that, breakfast was uneventful. My husband had the Chile Verde Eggs special and my MIL had the Potato Skin & Eggs. I had two sides of a Burger Patty and a Fried Egg plus a Mimosa while my son indulged on a big Cheeseburger with Bacon and Fries. The fries were really good! He loved his burger and almost ate the whole thing. He said the had Thousand Island and was yummy. The veggies for his burger came on the side which worked out great because I was then able to eat them with my patty. My Mom really liked her breakfast of the Potato Skin & Eggs and it even looked delicious. The Chile Verde wasn't bad. We all left happy.

Service was little hectic but given that it was the long weekend it was sort of a given. We found this place in Yelp and the food looked quite good. There was a good amount of people waiting when we arrived but it didn't take long for an outside table. Menu does have loads of all your traditional breakfast dish. Went with the special, seafood omelette. Served with the house potatoes and biscuits and gravy. As well as the classic breakfast with the eggs, sausage, bacon and toast. And over head the table ordering the French toast. Portion are big so if your hungry you're at the right places. The ladies were all very friendly and sweet. We now found another place for breakfast whenever we're in Paso again.

If you leave here hungry something is seriously wrong with you. Ordered ala cart to put together what I wanted: 2 scrambled eggs which looked like 4 eggs, home fried potatoes and a biscuit w/gravy. Service was very attentive and welcoming. A charmer place worth a try.

Delicious breakfast restaurant in Paso Robles, CA. Messaged for a reservation through Google as they close at 2 pm. Received message back to come on in. We were warmly greeted and allowed to choose our table. There is a parking lot across the street to accommodate our RV. We ordered two menu recommendations, the turkey bacon avocado on sourdough and breakfast special. With the sandwich several sides were offered and I chose potato salad when she said it was scratch made. It was very delicious. The sandwich also came with a pile of pickles which I liked. I ate only half of the sandwich as the portion was very large. My companion ordered the scrambled egg with biscuit and gravy and it overflowed the platter. He ate every bite and said it was incredible. Great coffee and two jumbo, housemade chocolate chip cookies to go. The place is decorated in a western style and plays black and white old cowboy shoes on the TV. Great place and I have saved it for future reference. You won't be disappointed. Huge menu so something for everyone.

The Cowgirl Cafe is the perfect place to start your day in Paso Robles! You will find friendly staff, excellent food and fun atmosphere! I highly recommend it, everything here is delicious. Plus they play old TV western on the screens...reminding you of childhood days!

I was in pasó for 30 hours and had breakfast in paso in 2 different places; we had breakfast the morning we arrived and the following day just before heading out of town; I have to say, I had 2 completely different experiences for breakfast and this was by far the highlight. We were instantly greeted and seated when we walked in, we had drinks a few moments later and our food came not long after we placed our order. The portions served were well priced, a rare thing to find these days. And the food was tasty. The basics but done very well. The pancakes were not too heavy and the eggs made exactly as ordered. I ordered poached eggs the day before and was served soft boiled eggs. My partner has the biscuits with gravy and really enjoyed the dish as it can often be too salty. Looking around the establishment, you could tell the room was filled with locals and for good reason, they do the standards well. So if that's your cup of tea, I highly recommend choosing Cowgirl cafe for your most important meal of the day.

Nice local restaurant that has that "community regular" feel. The food is very tasty and extremely filling, excellent portions! Friendly staff and you can tell it's a town favorite, it was almost completely full at all times but never actually had a wait. Perfect for a Sunday morning!

Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.

Kid got his water in the paper cup:) Went for what seemed to show up on reviews the most. - Ranchero steak & eggs = the steak was tri tip, which was too chewy. It worked out once I started slicing thin pieces from it and it became tender enough to eat. * I think the correct choice is to pay more to get the 12oz NY steak and eggs instead, since tri tip just too chewy. The famous ranchero sauce was good, but quite spicy! Kept eating it despite getting heated from spice, since it added the flavors. - Chilaquiles supreme = chilaquiles was good, but the tri tip piece from the supreme upgrade made it too chewy and detracted from the base chilaquiles. * I think the regular chilaquiles would be the better choice to enjoy without distraction of tri tip pieces. Or maybe ask if can make the supreme with other protein choices maybe some chopped up bacon or sausage pieces instead if allowed to substitute? - The hash browns side was perfect and delicious! Definitely wins over the homefries option. - Cinnamon roll = huge and a meal on it's own. was too much after the 2 entree's The menu is so vast, I think it's a winner as long as you stay away from entrees with tr tips. I just went too all in on tri tips, lol. Would love to try again sticking to the diner classics of pork chops or chicken fried steak, or the ny steak and eggs, or any omelettes or burritos.

This restaurant came highly recommended, and it absolutely lived up to the praise. When we arrived, the setting was lovely, and we were warmly welcomed by Michelle. She was gracious, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We especially appreciated the personalized place card waiting for us with our reservation. At first, my wife and her friend were a bit unsure as they reviewed the menu, as they didn't immediately see options that appealed to them. However, that quickly changed. Our friend ordered the asparagus salad and croquettes, while my wife chose the rosemary garlic grilled prawns and roasted heirloom carrots. Both dishes completely exceeded expectations--they were blown away by how flavorful and well-prepared everything was. Over the course of our trip, we visited many wineries and enjoyed several excellent meals throughout the Central Coast. Yet by the end of it, both my wife and her friend agreed that this dinner stood out as the most memorable--truly the highlight among many great experiences. Thank you for starting our trip on such a high note.
