Lunch March 21, 2025. Ambiance: I hadn't seen the restaurant since Deeds took over. They moved the bar into the large dining room and I love the change. The bar is wonderful, pure white quartz and feels and looks so good. It's a perfect rectangle and bar staff are inside interior. Barstools have backs in them. Vinyl upholstery and are comfortable. I had a glass of pino Grigio snd it was good and a large pour. They used a big red wine glass. I had the shrimp salad which was good. The shrimp were warm and very good. Darleen had the turkey Ortega melt and she loved it. She took half home for later. Staff were busy but helpful and nice. I will be back. Oh and they turned the old bar location into the pro shop store. It's a fun place yo hang out with TVs all around the bar and sports playing. The patio is lovely and views of the golf course while you eat.

Deeds Indeed!! We stopped by on our way back from a long drive from San Francisco to grab a relaxing bite since we knew there was no food left in our house. Golf course cafes are always open, so Deeds was a good bet. It is also nice to stare out over the greens while munching on lunch and recovering from road weariness. Deeds is located in the middle of a housing area, and has a huge free parking lot. We pulled in and found a place on the large outdoor covered deck that overlooks the greens. We were greeted immediately by our friendly server, and put in our drink orders. Since this was a late lunch/dinner, I chose shrimp tacos while my husband chose one of the specials, the fried chicken sandwich. Hearty portions of our orders soon arrived, and we enjoyed a leisurely lunch before heading south.

I got the tuna wrap with onion rings & I might say that they are some of the best onion rings ever! & amazing cold too.

I didn't used to like Deeds but I think I've changed my mind. First of all, you can't beat the view. I think that you can't go wrong looking out over the 18th hole. And has the food gotten better? Or was it the stellar service that Jared gave us? We definitely had a 5 star experience. I would go there again & again now!

Prime rib, medium rare, with extra veggies were excellent!

Ask the Community - Deeds Bar And Grill

Can we bring our own bottle of wine for dinner?

I've never seen anyone do this and I lived next to deeds in golf course for years. Call and ask. But I wouldn't. They have good wine and it's not expensive

Is the entire outside patio those high bar stool tables now? We don't like to sit at those, but want patio dining.?

No... they have both normal height tables and tall ones.

Ordered the Lindsay and the Italian to split between the two of us. Lindsay was good. Reminded me a little bit of some other sandwiches from slo although not quite the same however that one was tasty. Flavor was good and the balance was pretty good. Next comes the Italian. Well. I was sadly disappointed with this one. The amount of bread that was on it was a lot. Usually most places that make Italians with hoagies, will go ahead and remove some of the bread so that it has enough space for the meat and everything else. This one was probably 2/3 bread, the rest was the actual accoutrements. I was not a fan of the muffaletta. But that's on me because I'm not a muffaletta fan. Meats were good but the whole sandwich didn't mesh for me. Staff was really nice, the selections of cheese were awesome but that place was hot! Not sure what was going on with the AC that place was hot! It's worth a stop based off the quality meats, location and staff.

Previously operating her own daycare, test batches of Bread developed after an internet search often finding their way home with pupils and their parents, July 2025 finally saw Kopper open up shop at 1306 Pine Street where her goods now frequently sell-out daily. Working exclusively with a Sourdough starter named Dough-Rita, even Black Sheep's Cookies subject to traditional fermentation, guests now will find both sweet and savory treats alongside full loaves with clever names like "The Basic B" and "Mob Boss." Originally sold at the Paso Robles Farmers Market, opening of a storefront delayed as she relied on friends and family for everything from paint to plumbing, May 2026 now sees Paula regularly trying new things ranging from hefty Cinnamon Rolls to an absolutely stellar Sourdough Blondie that starts sweet and sticky before dissipating with an almost boozy sort of linger. Leaning into the "Black Sheep" name with some clever signage, a Sourdough "Cinny Roll" weighty beneath tangy Icing, those looking for something breakfast-y will note Scones and "Breaky Bombs," or their sweet brethren called "Lachee" filled with Fruit and Cream Cheese riffing on Czech Kolaches.

Craft Eatery which is located in downtown Paso across from the park. The ambiance was really nice. Modern and chic. We liked the design. We ordered 3 different things. This is the feedback from my friends after asking how they liked their food. Food: Pacific Rim salad with sriracha chicken. The salad was good but the chicken was dry. Cow tippin sliders - didn't ask how she wanted the meat cooked. Steak came out rare. Which she ate and said was ok but not preferred. She kept referring to the sliders as sliding everywhere between the rare meat and thick tomato slice. I had the Cabo chicken and summer bbq slider. Cabo chicken slider - The chicken was grilled and leaned on the dry side. I liked the chipotle aioli sauce. I didn't like the thick slice of tomato that came on it. Summer BBQ slider - was my favorite. The pull pork was good. My only suggestion is it could have used more bbq sauce on it as it was very little bbq sauce. The sweet potato fries were good and I liked the seasoning on them but a couple of them didn't feel all the way done. Wine - we had a glass of Quest wine and it was amazing. Def recommend this red if you visit. The service could have been better. There were long gaps in between our server checking in on us. But when they stoped by they were nice and split our check which was appreciated. Overall, the food was ok could have been better. The wine was amazing.
