    Wheat toast

Haven't been to this restaurant for some time and we were headed to Paso. Went on a Saturday and were able to be seated in about 5 minutes. Our server was Taylor and she and the others kept my excellent coffee filled and my husband's water. We sat inside as it was still rather cold outside. I had the 1/2 of waffle with fruit, one egg and one sausage, perfect. I usually have leftovers but not this time. My husband asked if they could make a carnitas omelette with pepper jack cheese and Taylor said yes. He also got fruit and wheat toast. The only downside was to use the restroom, you go outside walk a ways then have to go up stairs. My husband didn't like that. Also they have a large menu and lots of specials.

We stopped by on late Monday morning. Immediately sat and the service was very friendly. The patio is so nicely done with the unique tables and umbrellas. The waffle and the biscuits and gravy were so good! Will definitely be coming back.

Solid brunch spot in Atascadero! Just be prepared to wait if you go on the weekend. Pro tip: bring cash to save 4% on credit card fees My friend and I came by the Saturday of Mother's Day weekend and it was packed! We arrived around 11 and was quoted a wait time of ~20 minutes, which ended up being fairly accurate. They have a large waiting area with plenty of tables and seating, so the wait went by pretty quickly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated indoors, but from what I glimpsed of their patio seating, it was cute. The menu is huge and there's a large variety of both brunch and lunch options. There's a sign in the waiting area that mentions charging an extra 4% for credit card payments, but I really appreciated that both the cash and credit card prices are listed on the menu so it's clear. I went with the biscuit benedict for $18, and my friend got the florentine benedict for $18. Both our dishes came out quickly. Portions were huge and the food was solid. The gravy is really rich, so I couldn't finish all of the biscuits + gravy. My friend really enjoyed his benedict and especially the crispy tater tots. We really enjoyed our meal here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot in Atascadero.

One of my favorite restaurants in the Atascadero area for breakfast or lunch. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is always delicious and the refills on coffee and water are quick. My favorite is their omelets and any of their salads for lunch. They have a dog friendly patio, and also a counter-bar for single diners. My favorite item is the seafood Benedict! 5 stars from Phish!

I really enjoyed the funny decor they had all over the restaurant. The staff are silly and you can tell they enjoy being there. Our server was great about recommendations. I ended up with the California Benedict but substitute the muffin for their biscuit. Their biscuits were a hit and my daughter was even picking off my plate. My only disappointment was the egg. One egg was barely runny and the other egg was fully cooked. The best part about eating a Benedict was slicing into the pouched egg and watching the yolk ooze out into the sauce. I didn't get that here. Aside from that, everything else was great. The breakfast burrito was huge and I loved the tater tots in it. There's also a whole outdoor area with a fountain. It's very pretty out there. I would come back.

Cozy place, and busy - which is great ! When locals flock to a place, I know it is good. Place is run by women and run very well - efficient and friendly. Huge menu and tons of options - and so good that difficult to choose. They did ask if we want to sit outside or inside. But I missed the beautiful outside seating in the back. Will choose that next time. Every dish was a feast to eye and tongue! Only request -- would have liked milk instead of artificial creams with coffee. Having said that , coffee was still very good. Highly recommended.

Honestly one of my favorite spot for breakfast here in Atascadero. The Nest is a cozy restaurant right next to the post office, and has a pretty amazing & friendly staff. My partner and I have been coming here for quite awhile, though we'd often order take out since we live pretty close by. OKAY THE FOOD: I almost always order their omelettes or their California sandwich- they're pretty filling and honestly stuffed with veggies & meat. * The California sandwich is probably my favorite breakfast sandwich from here- there's plenty of spinach and thick strips of bacon that will leave you pretty dang full. * Papa Daddy Omelette; my favorite omelette here and I love that you can always add extra ingredients/ sides * You can always make your omelette into a skillet here If you're ever in town, I highly recommend this breakfast/ brunch spot. They're open early and close by 2pm! Happy eating :-)

corned beef hash crispy! tater tots were a great! ( get a side of their house dressing to dip them into, thanks Lori!)

Finally tried this fabulous place. From the wait staff to the delicious food this is my new favorite place! Everyone was so friendly even though they were packed. Received wonderful service from our waitress Lori. Hope to see her on our next visit

Found on Yelp. Almost left when saw outside as in strip center w urgent care. Inside is charming diner style. Lots of light. Busier than looked from outside friday at breakfast. Excellent service. Anything you might like they have for breakfast. Also serve lunch at breakfast so there's that too! They'll turn any omellete into skillet. The potatoes o brian in the skillet were deep fried and I was happy w that. Toast was heavy on butter - also aligned w my preferences, lol!

It could thaw throughout the day and she could enjoy it whenever she felt up to it. Turns out, it was a great call. The soup had tiny bits of veggies and multiple matzo balls that were nice and sizable. She loved it, and honestly, it looked so good I'll be getting it for myself next time I'm feeling run down. Now the surprise star... that bagel. The chew was spot on. That perfect bakery-style texture with just the right crust. Not even close to a grocery store bagel. If you know, you know. The shop itself is small and super casual, with a very relaxed, neighborhood feel. Service was quick, about three minutes from ordering to walking out the door. They also have outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus. And one more thing worth mentioning... if you take a minute to look up at the menu board, they have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches. Definitely coming back to work my way through those. Great food, fast service, chill vibe... and that bagel chew alone is worth the stop.

She was taking multiple orders at once and asked three customers what they wanted--I was the third. I clearly ordered an Italian with double meat. I calmly pointed it out, and instead of correcting it, she argued with me--saying "that's extra meat." I clarified again: I ordered double meat and understand the difference. Her response? A dismissive tone and "well then it will be a double charge," as if I wasn't already aware of that. That's literally what I ordered. They even stand in the door and block you from entering as they are talking to another one walking by. I just made my way up the door and pushed forward not intending to be deterred. Inside the teens were taking up fully at least 3 tables for 4 people, mostly boys and there was an old couple in the corner trying to eat a meal that looked very uncomfortable. The teens, none of them had food ordered or on the table. All they do is buy soda or take it as they knew the cashier young girl. I wonder if they even pay for it. I saw her hand them cups I've seen other reviews with people complaining like me about the place being overrun with non paying customers. They will stand in the way too and block the drink machines, door access or whatever. They also have no manners and will not move or say excuse me or anything. All tough guys. lol. The place was 100% full with squatters taking all the tables and management needs to step up and post signs. If not dining please move along and afk them to get out of the chairs and leave. !!!!!!! When weather is nice outside even more hoards are out there and it's difficult for families or couples to enjoy a meal. We got home with the food for our 9 year olds birthday dinner and the fries were soggy greasy. I even put them in my big air fry oven to warm and crisp them but they remained soggy. The onion rings were crispy. The 3 large tri tip salads were pretty good but I can only eat lean tri tip. Most of it was not edible for me. The boys liked their kids burgers. Dan had the 1/3 lb bacon burger with cheddar and he liked it. Anyway this restaurant would greatly increase their profit and be a comfortable place if they stepped up and saved tables for paying guests who order food. Isn't that the point of a restaurant?

The $5.50 chili fries were small, chili good. But, I could skip next time--frozen fries!
