I got the Loraine omelette & substituted a pancake for the toast. They were both delicious! The omelette was very tasty & the bacon pieces in it were thick. The pancake was very good as well. The service was excellent! My husband enjoyed his egg & sausage meal & loved the home baked toast. We will be returning!!

Fantastic diner hidden out in Paso at the airport. Classic dishes. Would recommend coming for breakfast. The wait is sometimes long, especially for large groups, but that tells you how popular it is. Omelets are my main go-to but this time tried the chilaquiles and was not disappointed. Big portion, good balance of spicy flavor, love the crispy chips.

Always a great meal. Quick service and food is made quickly. Nice to see the aircraft coming and going from your table.

After a morning of wine tasting in Paso Robles, I wanted a good, hearty lunch. Came across this place online and had a feeling it would be exactly what I was hoping. We arrived to the Paso Robles airport and easily found Joe's One-Niner Diner. We walked in and it was exactly as anticipated; full of locals and very home-y. We sat next to the window which gave amazing views of this tiny airport on a beautiful sunny day. Everything on the menu sounded great. I went with the chicken-fried steak, which the server (who was sooo sweet!) assured me would be a great choice. My fiance ordered the tri-tip sandwich. After enjoying the view for a few minutes, our food arrived. My chicken fried steak was topped with a beautiful amount of gravy, just as I'd hoped. It came with a hefty serving of hash brown, eggs (I got scrambled), and an english muffin. First, I dug into the hash brown. Omg, best hash brown I've ever had!! They were super hot, cooked perfectly, and has a thin crispy layer on top. Next, the eggs, solid. I finally started my chicken-fried steak which was perfection. The gravy was tasty and the steak was perfectly crispy on the outside with just the right amount of tender meat inside. Amazing! My fiance also loved his tri-tip sandwich. If we're ever in the area again, we'd happy come back to Joe's One-Niner Diner.

What a great surprise! I am a pilot and I flew into Paso Robles looking forward to eating at this resturant. It's right on the airport so if you are a pilot you walk right off transit parking to the place! For non aviation people, it's a PERFECT place to watch views of the planes taking off and landing. Food : I got the tri tip Chilla Quiles and my dad made his own omelette. IT WAS VERY DELICIOUS. The chillequiles was the best I've ever had Service: service was okay, didn't refil waters or anything and I had to go up for the bill hence the 4 stars Overall: would definitely come back just for the tri tip breakfast !

We were in Paso for a quick stay to visit the light display at Sensorio, have dinner and visit a winery. Our ABNB referred us to Joe's for brunch. I was a bit skeptical because it's literally inside the PR Airport (airport food--meh!) but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's a locals' hangout with a really great "diner" vibe. Menu is extensive. Everything you want on a brunch menu. We had the biscuit (HUGE) and gravy with an egg and a sausage patty and a side of hash browns. So delicious. The browns were totally golden and crispy, the biscuit fluffy and tasty, egg cooked perfectly, gravy OMG. We also had the Huevos Rancheros. Also excellent; perhaps a wee bit spicy for my taste but not a problem. Coffee was hot and kept being refilled and the mugs were so cute. Service was attentive, efficient and friendly. Definitely a "must visit" spot in Paso Robles!

Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.

Kid got his water in the paper cup:) Went for what seemed to show up on reviews the most. - Ranchero steak & eggs = the steak was tri tip, which was too chewy. It worked out once I started slicing thin pieces from it and it became tender enough to eat. * I think the correct choice is to pay more to get the 12oz NY steak and eggs instead, since tri tip just too chewy. The famous ranchero sauce was good, but quite spicy! Kept eating it despite getting heated from spice, since it added the flavors. - Chilaquiles supreme = chilaquiles was good, but the tri tip piece from the supreme upgrade made it too chewy and detracted from the base chilaquiles. * I think the regular chilaquiles would be the better choice to enjoy without distraction of tri tip pieces. Or maybe ask if can make the supreme with other protein choices maybe some chopped up bacon or sausage pieces instead if allowed to substitute? - The hash browns side was perfect and delicious! Definitely wins over the homefries option. - Cinnamon roll = huge and a meal on it's own. was too much after the 2 entree's The menu is so vast, I think it's a winner as long as you stay away from entrees with tr tips. I just went too all in on tri tips, lol. Would love to try again sticking to the diner classics of pork chops or chicken fried steak, or the ny steak and eggs, or any omelettes or burritos.

They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. Before we get into the meat & potatoes of this review, let me get something off my chest…read more I am ONE HUNDRED PERCENT not anywhere close to being a Cowboy, but I'll be damned if watching shows like Yellowstone on Paramount+ make me think twice about my life choices. I mean... Riding a horse on the open plains.... Wearing Levi jeans, a flannel shirt, with a big cowboy hat, a pair of cowboy boots, and rocking that big belt buckle sounds pretty cool to me. But being a Cowboy or a Cowgirl for that matter is more than just the catchy attire, it's a Lifestyle! Rooted in hard physical labor, long days, loyalty, deep respect and responsibility for the land and herding cattle are just some of the core values and responsibilities of being a true Cowboy/Cowgirl. Hell, I might not be a Cowboy, Yet... But I sure do respect the Lifestyle they live and for now, you can find me on the sidelines rocking out to my favorite country and Western artists: Morgan Wallen, George Straight, Garth Brooks and of course my Girls Reba, Lainey Wilson and Carrie Underwood. Heck, All I need now is my Cowboy Hat & Boots, Well, I suppose I should get a horse too ;) ------------------------ Now, Saddle up Partner, let's get this review on the road. It's time to EAT like a Cowboy and be where every Cowboy wants to be.... Cowgirl Cafe Enters the Chat! Yes, Every Cowboy that I know... Needs a Good Solid Meal to start their day off right. But more importantly than that... A Good, Strong cup of Hot Coffee! But even more important than that hot cup of Jamoka.... A Cowboy needs a Strong, Beautiful Woman by his side to wrangle him back in when he's out of line. Yeah, and just like you "Don't Mess With Texas", You definitely Don't mess with a Cowgirl! So when I ate at the Cowgirl Cafe in Downtown Paso Robles, I was on my best behavior. Located at 1316 Pine Street, this hole in the wall Cafe is where locals and visitors come together to break bread. A well themed decor diner that's open from 6am-2pm daily, The Cowgirl Cafe serves up a mean breakfast & lunch and boy did I enjoy it. 2 Eggs sunny side up, corned-beef hash, their Chef's Special Home Fry Potatoes, a side of toast, & a cup of coffee... All served with that hometown, local hospitality from our server who waited on us... You know, just like a cowboy, I tipped my hat to her and tipped her very well for her excellent service. As mentioned earlier.... The Cowgirl Cafe is open from 6am-2pm daily, so for you early risers who live the Cowboy life of waking up before the Sunrise, a hot meal will waiting for you. But don't fret if you are new to this Cowboy/Cowgirl rise and shine, get the day started off early business... Cause they serve breakfast up until 2pm (or until the cows come home). YeeHaw!!! Now, it's time to Cowgirl Up and stop pretending like this is your first Rodeo. Get on over to Cowgirl Cafe and Eat!
