We stopped here on a road trip. It's gets the job done! We got the salmon sandwich and the cheese burger. Solid place, it cures the hunger. Staff: Very Friendly and welcoming!

    Bronco burger. No flavor

Was looking for a burger as we were passing thru and this place looked promising. Ordered a Bronco and ABC burger. The burgers are huge. Unfortunately the meat had no seasoning on it and the ABC had so much mayo and 1000 island sauce the veggies were drowning. Besides the burgers being mediocre at best, the place is disgustingly dirty. The hvac vents filled with dust, the ceiling covered with dust, the air curtain covered with dust/grease build up, debris built up in the missing tiles around the counter and the walls are filthy. If the front of the house is this bad I can only imagine the kitchen. No bueno all around.. Bad Bronco

This was the perfect spot before an afternoon of wine tasting! Parking was very limited when we arrived around noon on a Friday, but we were able to find a spot and order as soon as we walked in. Food was prepared in less than 10 minutes, and was incredibly fresh!!! For around $15 a burger, you get a good portion. These were pretty big burgers so worth the money. Fries were delicious as well. Loved Bronco Burgers and their hometown diner feel.

The best tri tip sandwich in central coast, bread toast it to how I like it. Burgers good also, little pricey but worth it. Accidentally deleted sandwich n burger pictures ‍

Ortega Burger The fries are salty, crispy goodness, we got the large...and it IS large. The Ortega Burger was delicious, it was like an old fashioned burger...tasty, tasty, tasty..the pepper in it was the boldest part of the sandwich and the beef was charbroiled, with a primal hints of prime beef (we are in wine country, you know). I just wish the patty was a little thicker, but damn it was good. The fish taco was delicious when all contents are eaten together. The fried fish alone was masterfully complimented by the sauce and lettuce. It's big!!! Oh, the taco had a hint of freshly fried cod and yummy sauce.

    The burger was fire

The burger was fire the fish and chips was good too. We finished everything we ordered! The staff was friendly! Worth the five minute drive off highway 101. We will be back.

Bronco burger It's been awhile since I have been here. It's a tiny little place located next to a tinier coffee shop and car wash. It reminds me of a place where I grew up. I love that it is a family owned and operated restaurant. I ordered a cheeseburger, large fry and drink. The burger is really big and the large fry comes in a basket. The burger tastes like a homemade burger. You can tell that it's not a frozen patty, but that the patty is made from fresh ground beef. The fries are my absolute favorite! They are shoestring fries with great seasoning. Just the right amount of salt and paprika. After having it again, I can't believe I've waited so long to go back. I will be back soon because I am already craving it again! I can't wait to try everything on their menu.

A Paso Robles Staple. A little restaurant, sharing a parking lot with self car wash and drive up coffee. The restaurant has 4 to 5 tables inside with also stool window seating. There are 4 outdoor tables, as well. The service is always good. They greet you, you order up front and your food comes out reasonably quick. I ordered the Grilled Chicken, Lg Fries, Onion Rings, and a Coke. I usually ask for it on a bun, forgot. The grilled chicken was juicy and nice char taste. The toasted bread, fresh veg, alfalfa sprouts and grilled onions completed it. The French fries were hot and perfectly seasoned. Great shoestring! The onion rings maybe be my favorite of any in the county; Crunchy, Savory, Sweet, Fully Cooked Onion, with Ranch. Bomb! Love the self service Soda. Great Food and Service! *I would've given a 5/5, but for $10.95 you have to give more onion rings than that and my grilled chicken was super thin. For $15, we NEED MORE CHICKEN!*

One of the BEST, if not THE best burgers in town. The Bronco Burger. This spot is a hidden gem for burger lovers in Paso Robles.

February 2023 prices increased a lot in last couple years Kids burger was $5.95 now $ 7.95 and is worth about $2.00 in my opinion

I went in planning to order the $11.95 cheeseburger combo, but I swerved and got the gourmet western burger combo for $14.49 instead. Excellent decision. The skinny fries with the skins on came out steaming hot, and the burger was fantastic--a big, flavorful patty hanging over the edge of a fresh bun like it had something to prove. No gimmicks, no overthinking, just a solid local burger spot doing burgers right.

It's a small place, not fancy, but it felt friendly and relaxed, the kind of place that doesn't try too hard and knows what it is. Here are the details... *Service: everyone was very friendly. The guy at the front was genuinely nice, but he was pretty confused and confusing when I asked about the daily specials and pricing. He tried to explain it, but it made understanding what was what harder than it should have been. Nothing negative intention-wise at all, just a little chaotic and unclear. *Food: I ordered the burger medium rare, no cheese. It came out medium well with cheese and a very small piece of pineapple. Not exactly what I ordered, but it still tasted good. It had plenty of condiments, lettuce, tomato, a thin slice of ham, and mayonnaise. Flavor-wise it was solid, just not what I asked for. The fries were excellent. Crispy, fresh, and clearly made from real potatoes. They slice whole potatoes in-house with a slicing machine and turn them straight into fries, which I thought was really cool. They also had some kind of seasoning on them that made them even better. They have a lot of good burger options, plus chicken sandwiches, salads, and chicken strips. I liked that there was variety beyond just burgers. They also do a daily special burger for $10.99, combo meals are $13.99, and you can sub onion rings for fries for $0.99, which felt fair. *Ambiance: it's pretty clean, open, and small, about ten tables inside. It felt comfortable and simple. There are a few tables out front and a picnic table under a big tree, which is a nice idea, but it's right off the main street so it's not super peaceful. *Value: it felt like a pretty good value. The pricing made sense for what you get, especially with the daily specials and combo options. Nothing felt overpriced. *Overall: this was a solid but not standout experience. Friendly people, great fries, good burger flavor, but the order accuracy and confusing explanation of specials held it back. I give it 3 out of 5 stars. It's a decent stop if you're in the area and want something casual and quick. I added a bunch of pictures to help you get a feel.

Yeah well, this is definitely not the case here at Primal House. First time visit here, which we stumbled upon just by driving around and exploring. Now this place will definitely be a "must" whenever we come back into town. Ordered the Primal Burger, which in my humble opinion is second to none and probably one of the best I've had thus far! 4oz (x2) of the freshest, most succulent, meat-forward tasting, and perfectly cooked beef (medium rare) you could ever imagine! WOW, just wow! Superb service the day we came and we were also humbled to have met Chef Marcel who just happened to come out to the dining area to say hello. That speaks volumes in my book. Made a reservation for seven, brought our own bottle of J Duci (obviously), and settled into the fine dining area, which was noticeably quieter and more relaxed than the bar scene. Great call. Now, we came in as wine people. But the beer? Genuinely blew us away. We did a flight just to be thorough, and my dad -- a man who loves his wine -- abandoned ship entirely and went straight for the black cherry dunkelweizen. How do I describe it? Imagine someone took a Dr Pepper, gave it a glow-up, and turned it into an actual craft beer. Bizarre. Wonderful. 10/10 would confuse my taste buds again. On the food: the artichoke dip had a nice little kick to it that snuck up on you in the best way. The pretzels and cheese sauce? We need to have a serious conversation about the pretzel-to-cheese-sauce ratio, because we ran out of pretzels long before we ran out of sauce. That's not a complaint -- that's a cry for help. Send more pretzels. Three of us went for the prime rib special and my husband got the ribeye with mushrooms. The salad that came with the prime rib was fresh and crisp, and the blue cheese dressing was legit. The prime rib itself was juicy, well-seasoned, and not overly fatty. Fair warning though -- it seemed like they roast it and then finish it on the grill, so getting a true medium-rare is probably off the table. Ours came out closer to medium, but it had this great steak-like texture that honestly worked. Would I order it again? Absolutely yes. The mashed potatoes that came with everything were also quietly excellent -- the kind of side dish you keep going back to without realizing it. Really looking forward to coming back and working our way through more of the menu. Hidden gem alert for anyone doing the Paso wine trail!
