    Chili relleno breakfast
    Ron N.

Another fabulous meal at Leo's. They knocked it out of the park on both of our entrees. The chili relleno was the best I ever had. Great flavor, moist, hot and an amazing chunky tomato salsa. You could have rice and beans or potatoes and eggs for your sides. My wife had the Denver omelette, flavorful onions, two kinds of peppers, cheese. Tasty and tender! The family always provides friendly service! Come on in

I visited Leo's Cafe, a cozy and unassuming restaurant in San Miguel, CA. I tried their French toast combo and it was delicious! Their customer service is magnificent. Check them out if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We have been here two or three times while in the area to do wine tasting and have not been disappointed. The food is great and we enjoy their omelettes and other menu items. Don't be discouraged from the street, It's such a cute and comfortable place and the food is outstanding. Don't miss Leo's cafe while in San Miguel!

I was headed north unexpectedly early, so had time for a breakfast stop. Rather than hit up any of the trendy spots in Paso, I decided to hop north a tad further and support smaller biz an a very small community. Came upon Leo's and look forward to my return! Upon approach, I was a bit turned off by their signage which invested more space in training people away (no dogs! No public restroom! Not a coffee house!) than inviting them in. Hey, if people want froo-froo coffee so often you have to put up a sign, maybe it's time to invest in an espresso maker. (Check with your local coffee roaster for their test-drive/rent-to-buy programs.) I almost turned around, but took a breath and gave it a shot. Once inside I was warmly greeted by the sole server in a midweek morning. A couple of old farmers chatted over breakfast in one corner. A woman at another small table gnoshed and stared at her phone streaming video with sound full on while a toddler in a stroller sought her attention. Another solo diner quietly worked his way through breakfast in this tiny dining room that (thankfully) hasn't been updated in a good while. Except for the screaming phone screen, it was old-school comfortable. The menus was loaded with options and I settled on comfort food with a twist. Biscuits and gravy made with chorizo was excellent. I'm a big eater, but I had to pack up half as leftover (greatly enjoyed the following morning). I'll be back.

Needed food and a break to stretch our legs from the long drive. Found Leo's Cafe! Cute little family owned restaurant, serving breakfast and Mexican food. I had the corn beef hash and easy over eggs with biscuits! My husband ordered the Ortega Burger with onion rings. Overall food was good - a little too salty for my taste but it certainly hit the spot.

Cute idea, they have a guest book for you to sign!

Leo's is always my go to spot when I am traveling through central California. I would love to see more people in there filling the place up. It has a great atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food. I typically order the breakfast burrito and it is always delicious. Today I got an egg combo and it was also very good. My boyfriend and I will continue to come back whenever we are passing by. Thanks for a great experience!

There's something beautiful about the ritual of patronizing local businesses while pulling a long road trip. As the choir has stated, this place is charming and the food is as you would hope for it to be. It's also cleverly across from the Chevron along the Highway 101. Somehow I managed to need gas at this exact spot on both the departing and returning route so of course I couldn't pass up the opportunity to drink coffee and have a big fat omelette with biscuits and gravy--a driving girl's gotta eat.

I happened to stop by here for brunch while on my way to Hayward. It's a small place but very nice. We were seated right away and the server was very nice. I ordered chorizo omelette. The food was delicious. Servings were big. I wouldn't mind coming back here on my next trip to SF.

I also had hashbrowns on the side which really tasted like they were homemade, freshly shredded potatoes - they weren't like the frozen kind that you get that's for sure!! This place seems like they do a lot of cooking from scratch which I really appreciate. My friend ordered the Denver omelette which was humongous, and she asked for salsa on the side, which was not a problem and she also had the hash brown potatoes. She ate half her meal and took the rest home. I ate my eggs and left half my sausage and gave the other half to my friend to take home. Nice crispy toast. The eggs were done perfectly fried as well as the sausage which was a little bit crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It is a Saturday, and I noticed that Saturday special is ground beef enchiladas which I truly do enjoy I might have to go back there the next Saturday for lunch! The price point for the two of us was around $41 with a $10 tip. We did not order drinks that was just for our food, and they do offer a small discount for cash payments. All that eating and writing... I forgot to take a picture of my plate of food! Just trust me it was delicious!

They also fry the tortillas a little bit which is always a touch I appreciate. The birria ramen was amazing. Hot (not spicy) filling, and super flavorful. The birria was tender and juicy. The seating area was clean too but I noticed a few stains on the table I sat at. Minor nitpick. I was getting takeout anyway so it wasn't a problem. I will definitely become a regular.
