I arrived at 9:05 and waited for 15 min in a line only to be told to go wait in another line to "confirm insurance." Waited there for another 5 min to be told they already had the insurance but hadn't started the on the RX. So then they told me it would be 15-30 minutes. I still needed get some other things for my friends BUT the shelves are literally bare. Each aisle is easily 85%+ empty. So I went next door to Albertsons to grab the things needed. I came back to the pharmacy now 1.5 hours after my initial arrival and they still hadn't even started the RX. They were extremely rude and weren't helpful whatsoever. I would recommend avoiding this pharmacy/store at ALL COSTS!!

I don't use this pharmacy but the pharmacist seems really nice. I did see a sign up that they are unable to take new prescriptions at this time. There's a small selection of pharmacy-type items, like first aid and some beauty products. The gifts are their big thing, though- for pretty much any occasion. They also offer free gift wrapping with nice paper, ribbon, and a gold foil Rexall sticker on the package. My main hesitation for that fifth star is the unrelenting onslaught of "can I help you"s, where it almost feels like you're being monitored while you browse. Of course it's always great to have help when you need it, but I find this level of engagement disconcerting and it makes me want to hurry up and get out of there. The prices on most items are higher than my budget allows, but they seem to be making the model work. I bought a pair of earrings here for $40 last week. It was too close to closing to have it gift wrapped but the cashier asked if I'd like a box for them. When I got home I realized she'd bent the cardboard card the earrings were mounted on to fit it into the box. Not a big deal but this did not make for a great presentation of them as a gift. This has not been my experience usually, as they almost always do a very nice job with the (free!) gift wrapping. They are closed on Sundays.

After waiting in a LONG line (as per the usual at this place) I received only 1 medication out of the 3 ordered. Was told that they needed to clarify 1 with the Doc (whatever in the Hell that means), and the other was out of stock. I called the Hospital and the Head Nurse had to call and straighten things out. Cool. No problem. Received my 2nd medication. I was told that as soon as my 3rd arrived I would get a call...NOTHING. I called the Pharmacy the next day and sure enough they received it in the load earlier No call. The Pharmacy Techs are completely rude, unprofessional, and move with NO sense of purpose or urgency. So now I'll have to drive there (which is pretty shitty since the meds I have to take now make me feel light headed and lethargic) just to pick up my 3rd medication. This "Pharmacy" needs to have a COMPLETE overhaul on its so called Techs. Sadly ive had to deal with these clowns before and its always been the same. Not only in my cases, but I've witnessed the Techs argue, be rude to other clients...esp the Elderly. Most of the "Techs" have an I dont give a f*ck attitude. Always have. This Walgreens deserves ALL of the 1 star ratings it has. Try finding competent employees. After all, its not like peoples health or lives are on the line or anything. I called in a prescription and was told it would be ready in an hour. That was fine. I went to…read morethe store an hour and a half later to pick it up (I gave the pharmacy an extra half hour just to be safe). I waited in line to see the pharmacy cashier and pick up/pay for my prescription. I'm told it is not ready. The young woman at the counter did not apologize. She said I could wait or come back. That was all she said. It was like she thought my time was worth nothing and I could just wait an indeterminate period of time or I could just leave without my medication. I had to ask: How long would I have to wait? She said 20-30 minutes. After I waited in line for at least 10 minutes that's a 40 minute wait. What is the point of calling in the prescription and being given a time that it will be ready and not honoring the time being given to the customer? Especially not acknowledging that the customer has every right to be frustrated. Terrible customer service. "Go away or wait." Rude employees who don't take any responsibility for achieving the expectations that they give to the customers. No wonder they look like they are going out of business. With performance like that, customers will not try to keep them open. Not me.

When…read moreyou do find someone who works there, they seem annoyed to have to direct you to something you're looking for. Selection is oddly limited for a store of this size. No sales, signage is missing for a lot of items, and it was difficult to find the little price checker machines (forget finding an employee). It had the two things we needed so it served our needs when other stores were closed but we wouldn't rush back.

There are a few "staples" that come from Walmart purely because of price. But I am happy to drive 5 minutes further for a better shopping experience. The store and parking lot is always busy, neither making for a positive shopping experience. It's getting ridiculous these days that so much product is now under lock and key, which means looking for a sales associate to help get you the product you need. Some aisles seem very narrow to move through when the store is busy, which makes a quick stop difficult. Lines for the registers, all of which are never open, are pretty long, which sends me to self checkout. Again, waiting in line because over half the self checkout machines aren't in use. Apple Pay isn't accepted either. Just too much I don't want to deal with here.

We stopped in to Walmart to pick up a lot of the basics. It was later in the evening and they were getting ready to close. The night crew had already started the re-stocking process. Even with that happening, there were a lot of gaps in the grocery aisles, especially in the refrigerator cases. We weren't able to get everything we needed, which meant another shopping trip the next day. It was just an okay experience overall. I did track down one of their employees to ask the location of several items that I hadn't been able to find, despite going back over the same aisles several time. The aisles didn't seem to be laid out with any particular logic. Checkout went reasonably well, so that was a plus. Somehow this particular location seemed sadder and less organized than others I've shopped at in the past. Possibly a "B" store.
