    The WORST pharmacy ever! We placed an order on the app for a refill to be delivered so we wouldn't have to wait 50 years in line to pick it up. That was on June 17th! It is now June 24 and the app shows it as "received" and that they're working on it. We called today to see why it was taking 7 days to receive it. Val answered the call and was super rude right from the start. She tried blaming us and saying we should have called sooner. Huh?!!!!! We need to call after placing the order?! Please make that make sense. She says they do not show any refill being requested or even processing. She again tried to blame us. She says it will take a while to fill because they're busy. Ummm we requested this a week ago. There is NO excuse! I asked to speak with the pharmacist. Xuan got on the phone and while I was explaining the situation and concern over how Val handled the call, she immediately started defending Val. Instead of apologizing for any inconvenience her priority was to avoid any blame. She says it's an IT issue and not their fault. I don't care who's fault at Walgreens it is. The main concern is getting the refill asap. I found Val and Xuan very rude and dismissive. Neither of them ever apologized or acknowledged the inconvenience and error on behalf of their company. I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager but Xuan said Gina, the pharmacy manager was off on the weekend. Must be nice. I asked to speak with David the district manager and she didn't have his contact information. She told me to call customer service so I did and filed a complaint. We'll see if they even respond. I can tell that they lack leadership or any customer service because after reading these reviews on here, it seems the pharmacy is trash and the company does NOT care about patient care whatsoever!

    Extremely long hold time. It was 37 minutes before I got a hold of the pharmacy tech.

    Literally the worst Walgreens that has ever existed. Long lines, unfriendly employees that yell at their customers.

    HORRIBLE!!! They take forever to help with every pick-up I've tried to do here. They had 6 staff members working and NO ONE came to help.

I reported to the "manager" in the store (I reported first to the cashier who told me to talk to the manager) and he couldn't care less. It was like I was bugging him. I think most people go here for meds, it doesn't appear to be stocked well. The website said they had my shampoo but they didn't. They also have half the store under glass. That's a "I won't be back" thing for me. No one likes having to wait ten minutes to get the glass opened. If people are stealing stuff then get security. I'm honestly a well built man but I hate coming here because of the riff raff surrounding the place. There are other options.

They claim it's an insurance issue, but my child's insurance hasn't changed in years. Then they lie and say they're out of stock. Which is mostly untrue. There was an incident when I requested to refill a prescription a week in advance. They sent me a text claiming it was out of stock. I had a feeling that it was bs so I drove to the pharmacy and spoke with their staff in-person. Guess what? The prescription that they claimed that was "out of stock" was in fact in stock. The tech told me that I just needed to wait 10 minutes. I had to explain to the tech the importance of my child's medication being filled on time, given that a missed dose can cause a life-threatening issue. About a month ago, I was in line inquiring on my child's prescription. There was another customer standing super close behind me while I was giving the tech very personal information. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. There is no way that pharmacy tech helping me did not notice him. HIPAA VIOLATION! Anyway, if I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would.

    This is a really down in it's luck CVS…read more There are a ton of vagrants out front and the front door doesn't work and is propped open. A lot of the shelves were empty, almost everything is locked up, and it feels a bit grimy. It was a wasted trip for us since it turns out our vaccination isn't covered by our insurance (the pharmacy tech also had an issue checking us in and reviewing our accounts) and the check stand (no self check out) had a line of five people deep that wasn't going anywhere so I put back the candies I'd picked up and left. To be honest I never see us ever coming back to this location, we don't see these issues at our local Walnut Creek CVS and we're always able to use their self check out to be in and out quickly, so overall I think two stars is right on the nose.

During that time, I watched two cars that arrived well after me in the other lane get helped while I was completely ignored. A staff member kept staring at me through the window, but made zero effort to assist me or explain the delay. To make matters worse, she eventually just slammed the window gate shut and signaled for me to come inside. When I went in, there was zero acknowledgement of the situation and absolutely no apology. Both the technician and the pharmacist seemed more interested in just staring at me than addressing the issue or taking any accountability. What should have been a quick trip turned into a 50-minute ordeal. I expect a basic level of courtesy and efficiency from a pharmacy, especially when handling time-sensitive medications. The complete lack of professionalism and customer service here is unacceptable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

We were surprised how fully stocked this place was especially on Christmas Day! Their holiday aisle was still fully loaded! They had plethora of awesome gifts available and even alcohol gifts. The dude and I were so tempted to get their Kahlúa gift set as it was literally only $20 which is a steal in my opinion! Wish we snagged it. It was pretty busy inside and they were totally enforcing their MASK policy. So wear one or they can't ring you up. I heard staff say that to a few customers which I think they just forgot to put it on. The store was clean, organized and staff was friendly. I always sign up for any awards program as you get deals! I had so many coupons here for CVS but left them at the hotel :( ugh but that's okay. The lines were long but it moved fast. We did but Trulys here which they were decently priced no complaints. Overall, love CVS in my opinion they have better selections of items than their competitors Walgreens. Would definitely be back. Oh yah! Staff was friendly and warm. Impressed with this location!

My first, and last time doing business with this location. At first, Vanessa the store Manager seems to be kind, and helpful. I've attempted to contact her numerous times without any response. Eventually, she gets around to returning your call Several days later. With many excuses behind the incompetence. I discussed with her in great detail the importance of photos I needed for my terminal ill brother. She seemed sympathetic, and helped me through difficulties of the restrictions of her printing machine. We printed several different images. Non of them were satisfactory good enough to display for her and I. She requested I return late the next day in order for her to accommodate her door dash customers. Upon my arrival 11:00 pm. She ran around for several hours helping other customers while I was waiting for her assistance as agreed. Unfortunately, she sent me home due to the store closing. Instead she requested I order online. I returned the next day to pick up the prints. Vanessa, had left for the day. Trent her Assistant Manager had no knowledge whatsoever of our several previous conversations. He was EXTREMELY rude, condescending and proceeded to embarrass me in front of his employees, and several customers. Trent, contacted Vanessa at home, to fill in the details. Apparently, her instructions to Trent were inappropriate and unacceptable. She made things much worse than it should've been. I in turn became irate and frustrated with the accusations, and the whole situation. For these, and many reasons. I'll be contacting her District Manager, and file a formal complaint with the Corporate Office against Vanessa, and Trent for the unnecessary, and inappropriate conduct of both employees. both employees needs additional training how to treat a customer with respect, and retain a repeat customer. I strongly suggest you take your business to another location to avoid getting accused of ANY wrongdoing in their store. For the record. Vanessa the Store Manager cannot be trusted.

The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

    This review is for the pharmacy. There was a negligent error made by staff that almost cost me…read more$1200. I had a prescription for a medication refill come through on day 26 of a 28 day supply. I was called that same day on the 30th by pharmacy staff stating my insurance denied the refill because it was "too soon." I had an intuitive feeling this wasn't the case. Insurances don't give refills once your nose is to the grindstone, giving a small window of time to have the pharmacy prepare the order and ensure they have it in stock. I asked for the pharmacy to please run the medication again the following morning. I communicated very clearly that as of Jan 1 my prescription would no longer be covered by my insurance. $1200 is the out of pocket cash price. It was imperative I get my prescription on the 31st. She was aware of this. She said she would leave a note. The morning of the 31st I was out running errands. I decided to go down to the pharmacy in hopes of waiting. I couldn't spend another stressful day wondering what was going on, taking a gamble on getting my medication in time. I knew there was absolutely no way my prescription would be denied one day before it was finished. I'm not ignorant, and this isn't my first time filling this medication. The girl at the counter recognized my name on the prescription, "this is the one where we couldn't fill because it was too early? We have your item here". She tried to run the prescription. Came back with the "they're still telling me it's too soon." After trying to explain to her that this is impossible, showing her on my phone it had been one day short of 4 full weeks since I had gotten it refilled, and again communicated the urgency, I got the spiel that there's nothing they can do to force it through. Brick wall, no checking details, no attempt to problem solve. I suggested I call them, she agreed. I asked for a copy of the insurance rejection paper after she offered. I went outside and called my insurance, I called the number on the paper the pharmacy provided me. My Insurance insured me that they would be happy to refill my item. It was NOT too soon. She said it was specifically missing a code entered into the pharmacy computer from the prescription (provided by the doctor) in order to move forward. She gave me the name of the code rejection. I looked at the paper provided to me from the pharmacy, and very CLEARLY saw it stated the code as the reason for rejection. Nothing about it being too soon. The insurance let me know I was given misinformation, and this code must be entered to get filled. She said if the prescription was missing this code, its the pharmacies duty to call the doctor and get it. How did they not catch this? Aren't they trained to notice these important details? They run people's insurances as part of their basic structural job function! I'm livid! I went back in the pharmacy and got the girls attention who originally helped me. I told her exactly what my insurance said. She knew what code I was talking about. I pointed out on the paper she provided that very CLEARLY says the CODE was the reason for rejection. She prints up the original prescription and starts typing stuff in the computer. Didn't say a word to me, just typed. I asked her directly if the code they needed was on there and was in fact provided by the doctor to begin with. She said yes. Then let me casually know that they can have my prescription ready for me in 10 minutes. Yay me right? I maintained my composure and stayed polite the entire interaction, because my objective was to get my medication. But I did make a comment that thank God I called the insurance myself and done my due diligence, had I waited the time that they told me: ONEC this would've never gotten approved regardless of time and TWO it would've costed me $1200 out of pocket. She agreed. That was the entirety of the conversation. She let me walk off to wait. When it was ready, she rang me up like normal. No apology, no decency to acknowledge their error. And like I said, I was completely polite the entire time. Where is the accountability here? I feel that this type of error is gross negligence on behalf of a professional pharmacy staff. I probably wouldn't be here sharing such distain had she at least taken accountability and apologized! To add insult to injury, the call I received on the 30th telling me it was rejected because it was "too soon" wasn't the same individual that gave me that same reasoning in person on the 31st. For TWO seperate pharmacy technicians to give me an inaccurate reason that my insurance denied my refill, when their system very CLEARLY depicted the denial reason as something ELSE, is completely unacceptable. How do I as a customer, not a trained pharmacy staff member, have to point out this error to get my medication? I will absolutely never use this pharmacy again.

    This CVS is in a bit of a rundown location and felt more unsafe than the shopping center next door…read morewith the Starbucks and Walgreens. Walking in I was able to find one of my shampoos, but when I went to check out their vitamins several of the bottles were mixed up and in the wrong place. The shelves just felt messy and disorganized compared to some of the pharmacies i've been in lately. All in all, after a quick scan at the self-checkout I was done and onto the next - although I really don't think I'll be returning to this location.
