These are awesome. Also I have never seen these sold at any other Costco.

This Costco deserves more than 5 stars! It's a bit busier than I'm used to at my regular Costco in Napa. However, this is the biggest Costco I've ever been in. And I have been to 10 Costco's. There was more of everything. In every section of the store, I noticed items that I had never seen at any other Costco . It's a bit of a drive for me to show up here. But it might be worth it just to get the rare items at the usual economic, Costco price. In spite of the crowds, checkout was relatively easy. I didn't experience a longer wait than other Costco's. It's been a long day and I was hoping to pick up something to eat in the food court. This is the one place where the line was through the roof. The self service kiosk was smaller than every other Costco I've been to and the line was incredibly impressive. I decided to skip it because it was daunting.

A large Costco here in Concord. Well organized with ample stock and variety of foods, produce, baked goods, furniture, clothing and so much more. Samples are provided by friendly workers. Sales abound after the New Year. This Costco was crowded in the late afternoon. There is a food court with the usual Costco food options. This Costco still sold churros. No chocolate chip cookies yet. Restrooms are in need of clean up here. Self serve lines move pretty fast. Value is determined by you! I spied many items I liked but did not need.

Quality/Quantity - Got gas here since we were in the area to save me a trip to San Leandro Costco. There is an okay beer selection; I guess Concord doesn't have many local beers...? Atmosphere - Consistent. Open 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm or 8:30pm, see picture. Gas, Pharmacy, Optometry, and Tire Center hours differ, see picture. Service - Self service. Price - Good values, so I rarely check. But if they have sales, I hoard!! Owner Suggestion - Congrats on your success with this location that opened here in 1986. Congrats on all your success since 1976, since Price Club. You are now the 5th largest retailer in the world and #10 on the Fortune 500. 804 warehouses worldwide, with 558 in the US. 1980 IPO. 1993 Price Club and Costco merger. 1997 Rebrand all locations to Costco. 2020 105.5 million members.

Can you fax or call in a prescription to VIPpetcare? Pharmacy says no. However VIP says yes. Confused?

    Need appt for tires?

They might do apt for special order tires, however it's first time, first service. I have been going for years, it's too much mass production, so you wait 2-6 horus. I switched to AVN Tires in Alameda on Lincoln, great fast service while you wait.

    Battery available here for car?

    Yes, call the tire center.

Does this Costco have senior hours?

    Yes it does.

Does Costco in Concord have self checkout?

    Yes

Does this Costco sell heating aids?

Not sure of heating aids. Walmart in Martinez had some heating and. Cooling pads. Sorry if I couldn't answer your question more thoroughly. RR-:)

    Does Costco warehouse delivers?

Yes I have used them to be delivered to my house.

Does this Costco have a gas station?

Yes it does. And because they do the gas on the Main Street Monument is full of gas stations that have reasonably priced gas

Is there new yogurt at Costco? The new one is more yellow color and grainy. The old one was creamy - more like DQ.

It is the same yogurt. If it's yellow in color it is not freezing correctly. Nothing wrong with it at all.

    Mattresses on display?

    Sometimes they are.

Does this location allow for Executive/Business members to enter earlier than the posted store hours?

Yes, the Concord Costco allows you to enter 1 hr earlier but, so do most Costco’s.

My wife and I finally became members!! YAYYY…read more. We went today and picked up our membership cards. First impression, this place is hugh lol and I did not like standing on the Member Services line because it moved a bit slow. Nonetheless, immediately after getting our cards we were on our way to explore. I like that everything is in it's place and it was clean throughout the store. We checked prices, ate the free food/snacks lol, and checked out the prices. We even bought some items. I'm happy that we made this decision because some items have become way too expensive just to buy 1 and t then it don't even last. I guess it is told to begin to buy in bundles so we can get our money's worth.

I drove from Palo Alto to Concord, as this is the closest Sam's Club, because I was told over the…read morephone that I had a tire warranty that would help cover some of the cost. I specifically explained that my tires were already in the red levels 2,3,3,4 and that I did not want to drive over an hour if nothing could be done. I was assured that after the technicians checked the tires, the warranty would make the cost less than buying a brand-new set of four tires. When I arrived, the front desk associate tried to help but was unfortunately unfriendly and dismissive. Basics asking what I wanted them to do about it. So I had asked since they are the professionals to take a look at my car especially since I do not work there and I do not know what their protocol what are. Regarding the warranty, I was told that the tire thread was low obviously because it was in the red as I mentioned on the phone so it was my fault for driving too much. I was told it would only save me about $20-$30, followed by a comment that it "wasn't worth it" because of the work involved in processing it and sending it back to the maker. I'm sorry, but that is not her decision to make. A warranty exists for a reason, and even a small amount off a purchase could have influenced my decision. I was then told the warranty could not be applied because I did not rotate and balance my tires at Sam's Club, even though I get those services done during regular maintenance at my dealership or oil change locations. This explanation made no sense to me. what is the purpose of a warranty if it becomes invalid for routine maintenance done elsewhere and why tell me how much I could have gotten with the warranty to only tell me I wouldn't qualify. I made it clear that I was not blaming her personally, but I wanted them to understand how frustrating it was to drive that far based on the information I was given. Her response was to tell me that she also drives an hour to work, implying that my frustration wasn't valid, which felt incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. When I asked for a quote, I was told the Michelin Defender 2 tires would be over $800. I mentioned that the same tires at Costco or American Tire are closer to $750 after tax, and she told me "That's our price" I later checked the Sam's Club app and saw the tires listed for about $140 each, which is actually cheaper than Costco or American Tire and comes out to less that $750!!! The pricing I was quoted did not match what was shown online. The associate also assumed I drive 24,000 miles per year, stating that my tires were close to the 60,000-mile warranty anyway. In reality, I drive about 12,000 miles per year, which is documented through my insurance. I am a full-time mom who mainly drives locally for school drop-offs and errands. I truly dislike writing negative reviews, but every point made during this interaction felt illogical, dismissive, and frustrating. I was not demanding anything. I simply wanted to be heard as a customer and for my concerns to be acknowledged. Instead, I was met with eye-rolling, a lack of empathy, and a "nothing we can do" attitude. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to Sam's Club for tire services. Also if you are considering purchasing tires at a Sam's Club make sure you get your tires balanced and rotated properly at a Sam's Club otherwise I guess warranty is voided. This is the first time in 23 years of driving that I had to replace all four tires by the second year of driving.

However, if you're willing to sift through out the items might find a few gems. The prices are fair, but to tend to run on the high side. There is definitely an array of goods to rummage through. And through appointment and hand selection of items the store accepts, it makes for quality picked used merchandise. Finally -- it's nice to see that they have a phone number posted now. This business didn't have one connected to anything for awhile. I believe this happened around the time the new owner, Lupee bought Growing Pains. Once I had an appointment and brought some gently used baby items in I was given the option of store credit or money. The store credit being higher. I don't remember if this was before Lupee bought the store. When the phone number for the business went dark I wasn't sure how to make an appointment for bringing my baby things and kids things in. So I started just dropping them off to create space in my home. I realize this isn't the most ideal situation since the items could go to a non profit so I've stopped this.
