I must say the place is clean well organized but when it comes to the pricing, there is something going on because please explain to me. How is it that an item is 19.99 with a discount and you get the receipt and it comes to 22.99 and no discount not on one item but on two. This Old Navy at THIS LOCATION is one of my very favorite places to shop in this area. More than all the other Old Navy's in the East Bay. This is my first go-to for clothes. Well stocked, well defined areas for kids, women, men, accessories etc. Their brand and styles are great, but not too "out there" or boring. I would say clothes are fun and practical. Value is important - Old Navy clothes wear and wash well...but the time they wear out, the style is out of trend anyway. Clean, bright, safe and no crime worries. Not hectic like at Veranda. My husband and I popped in Friday evening for a few last minute Christmas gifts. You can't go wrong here. They were having a big sale, so you can get great gifts without breaking your budget. I ended up buying a lot of pj bottoms. They were under $6. I couldn't just leave them in the store for that price. Pj's for everyone this year. This store is always hot & the dressing rooms are a sauna. Not worth it. Employees are pretty snotty too but for some reason the dressing room employees are the sweetest! Store is clean and organized but no bathroom & not a puff of air in the dressing room so I will choose another. They did provide hand sanitizer coming in which is a plus. I paid $4 for bottled water! They have a good selection of items and the store is relatively organized but the staff seem more concerned with trying to get you to sign up for rewards or a credit card than provide actual customer service. I know most stores are now encouraging self check out now but when I visited yesterday the cash wrap was totally closed and you could only use self check out! I found it quite annoying that there's a perfectly good cashier directing people how to use the checkout and where to put hangers correctly and having to remove sensors rather than actually ringing people up! They were having a big clearance sale and all of the items were tagged with sale stickers but not ONE of the 7 items came up as the sale price when I scanned them. The girl said she couldn't fix that at self checkout so I left without buying anything. read more

Love this new location at The Veranda on Diamond. What befuddles me though is they have this location then have the original location in the Willows Shopping Center next door. Perhaps they're phasing out the one in the Willows? Who knows. The new rendition of this discount clothes powerhouse I feel is much better laid out then its predecessor and they seem to be much more 'well-oiled' at the registers to get the waiting patrons out as soon as they can. I was able to find what I needed in the sizes I needed without having anyone look in the back. The staff are all so nice and helpful as well, can't say I ever felt that way at the Willows location. Whatever they're doing, I hope they keep it up because I know I'll be back for those awesome deals! read more

As far as Old Navy's go, this is my favorite location to shop at. They seem to have a good selection of stuff as well as more well stocked than their other locations in the bay area that I frequent. The past two times I've stopped in they have no carts so I end up leaving since shopping with a little one is impossible without a cart. But the other Old Navy across the way does! Super CLEAN and ORGANIZED... i have t been to an old navy that looked this good in YEARS!... and i used to do visuals for the company so i know all about it.... this store was sized, organized, clean, well stocked even the plus size section which is often neglected in all retail stores was impeccable...THE CLEARANCE was sized and color coded ... literally made me want to spend money as soon as i hit the dooor... which i did... because i didn't feel like i was digging for stuff or stepping over clothing and fixtures... the store is a nice size.... only downfall was there wasn't much infant boy clothes which is what i went in there for butttt i more than made up for it with purchases for myself lol ..... i would drive out of my way to shop at this store most definitely... I normally don't like shopping at Old Navy. It seems EVERY time I come, to any location, and day or time, the merchandise is disheveled and there is a line 30 minutes long at the register. I came here yesterday, though, and was actually pleasantly surprised! Everything was orderly and organized, and the line wasn't out the door! I love the sales that they advertise for on commercials. I came in here not really knowing what I wanted to get... No, wait, I take that back. I came in here looking for some dressy white flip flops or sandals, but ended up leaving with $40 worth of athletic clothing that was on sale. It is Old Navy, you know what they have. If it is on sale it is a good price. Not on sale, a little on the expensive side. This store gets busy, so at times the displays can be a little disheveled. Visited this store on 11-29-21 when it first opened. Considering it was the day after the long Black Friday weekend, the store was clean, merchandise neat, and the availability of sizes in the men's department was impressive. It was in the best shape of any store I have seen recently. There were even sales people available on the floor. Consequently I was able to find and purchase more than intended, as the prices were also excellent. I was very impressed and left the store a very happy customer. read more

I like Old Navy. Actually, I like all the Gap brands. I'm a Banana Republic Luxe card holder which means I spend too much money shopping at Gap Co. I buy a lot of my kids' clothing at old navy. I normally shop online but I decided to hit the store since I had some extra time. They really don't have a great selection. Their staff, while mostly pretty nice, was pretty unhelpful. The manager, Renee was condescending. I just got bad vibes from her when she was in the dressing room and I told her a pair of shorts fit funky in the crotch. It's like she took it personally and started getting offended... Then she wound up checking me out and again, she was just a little condescending and off. When my receipt printed, an online survey offer also printed and she said to me, "Give us all 10's and you get 10% off your next order." Ya, um, I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to tell people how they should rate your store and I'm pretty sure that you get the 10% off no matter what you rate the store since corporate wants to know how consumers REALLY feel, not what you are telling me I should say. Clean, well maintained and easy to peruse. I happened upon this Old Navy location because I had business to attend to in Pleasant Hill (something new by driving around but was equally charmed by the suburban memories I had left for the city) but given the fact that it was visible from the freeway, it was an easy sideline. Despite the fact that this mall seemed to have lessened in terms of attracting a healthy clientele (parking lot was 90% empty) I was pleased to find many spaces that included shade trees in the lot. After driving around the perimeter of this mall, I located the Old Navy awning and parked my car. I found this location clean, the racks sized accurately and even color coordinated right down to the tank tops, shirts, sweaters, and bottoms such as skirts and shorts. Wandering and eyeballing could not have been made easier. A good variety of summer clearance items (go before this Friday, apparently the additional %50 off ends) where I was able to locate several slouchy tank tops to wear layered (ah, the joys of summer) a drawstring khaki skirt, and a pair of jeans usually priced at $34.50......after the additional? $10.99 A cheerful staff that ran around the floor doing go-backs, sizing the racks and enough time to ring me up and wish me on my way. read more

Old Navy is not my Go-To Clothing store. But, I'm giving Old Navy 4 stars for a few reasons. 1) I've got two little ones - when they're babies/toddlers they go through clothes fast - you don't want to pay a lot. Old Navy's clearance section served me well. I'm talking 97 cent tops, $1.97 pants. 2) When I was losing weight I had to buy pants a few times over so my boxers didn't show as my pants slid down my bum. Old Navy helped me not go broke doing so. Clearance section - pants for like $6.97! 3) Today I had a half hour to kill and $8.00 left on an old gift card from ON. I wandered in. Clearance section - two basic tops: one for $1.97, the other for $2.97. So I got two tops and 3 bucks in my wallet. Pretty sure I can get a pint at some Happy Hour somewhere for three bucks. read more

A mess. I am not a big fan of Old Navy's clothing except for their women's fleece pants. My pairs are very worn out so I figured we'd make a quick stop while running some other errands in Coco County. The store itself is pretty new, but it was a freaking disaster in there. Clothes strewn everywhere, with only a couple of clerks on the floor. Stuff was just showed in the racks with all the sizes mixed together. Since the store had only been open for a couple of hours at that point it's clear that they need to staff it much more heavily. I did manage to locate one pair of pants in my size, but gave up and left after I saw the length of the checkout line. No thanks. read more

I have never really shopped at Old Navy for the fact that I thought everything was too over priced. But since then my husband and I have picked up things for our daughter and to my surprise we found cute things, that were on SALE, which was a major score for me! This location is really clean, although I can't say the same for the dressing rooms - ew. To avoid the crowd, go just when they are about to close (30 minutes) , this only works when you know exactly what you are looking for. If you need more time, go right after they open. The staff people are really nice and helpful during check out process..For the most part everything is organized and in order from smallest to biggest sizes. Other people shopping here seem to have the face of being stuck up but it doesn't have an impact on my shopping experience - just what I have noticed. There is a parking lot for three kinds of stores, Old Navy, Pier 1 and Jamba Juice, so yes it can get kind of crowded, which is annoying to most. The hours are decent and they don't close early, even on weekends. Glad there is one in my area so I don't have to drive a crazy distance just to get to this store. Clothing is durable, probably better and even cheaper than Forever 21. They always have cure shirts, bags, shirts and swimsuits (during summer season). I usually never go to old navy, but always seem to end up there the day after chrismas. This allowed me to get some good deals (nice jacket for $15, tank top $3) but it also made me deal with a ridiculously long-ass line. It was like a 15 minute wait, luckily the cashiers were really fast. I must say, there was so many employees it was a little intimidating, but I guess it was since the store was so crowded. Better than being understaffed. The staff were friendly =] Old Navy has somewhat cheap clothing and some marginally cute stuff. This store is definitely not for fashionistas, but I think we knew that. I think the prices have gone up a lot in the last few years. Still good to go there for basics, I suppose. Ugh this place is such a disaster! The only reason I'm even buying anything is because I'm not in the mood to go from store to store. The clothes are disorganized, the only sizes they have are 0-4 and 12-16! The worst part is when I asked the girl, she acted as if I was crazy to be surprised! If you know you're going to run out of 8-10, then STOCK MORE. I had to dig through piles to find 1 available 8 and 10! Not to mention she directed me to 2 tables in the front as the only place they have shorts. It's barely July and you're already out of shorts?! Not only have the staff gone above and beyond looking for garments for me, but they have even been so kind as to offer my little girl a piece of candy and discounts when I didn't come in with a coupon. The staff were very helpful and made sure I was having a good experience. Very cheerful and upbeat. The selection here is bigger than at the others I frequent and the store is really clean (including bathrooms). i was looking for a specific dress and when i called, the girl i spoke to was really helpful and was able to locate the dress and put it on hold for me. i had called the emeryville location but they didn't stock the dress, and i had also looked for the dress in the dublin store to no avail, which leads me to believe the concord store may have a better selection, at least for this particular item. when i went to pick up the dress, i was impressed by the store's spacious layout and friendly employees. and when i went to try some things on, i was pleasantly surprised that there seems to be no limit to the number of items you can bring into the fittin room, unlike at other stores! overall a pleasant shopping experience. the store itself is a little hard to find because it's near the back of the shopping center, near cost plus and REI. i went on a weekday evening so parking wasn't bad, but i do agree that the design of the shopping center is a little confusing and non-intuitive. i think this'll be my ON of choice in the future! read more

I'm a long time Old Navy lover and since I was in the area for a lunch date with my guy, I stopped in here to have a look. The set up of the store was practically like a maze! It seems like every time I come in here the store is changed around a bit. It just makes it a bit more difficult to find what I'm looking for as quickly, but I manage. While I was in the store I couldn't help over hearing other customers voicing concerns similiar to my own. Some examples include -- "This place doesn't make sense!", "They don't sell adult clothes here?", "I can't get the stroller through there, I'll go around". Frustration was had by all. On the other side of it though, this place is always kept really clean and employees are always busy folding and refolding, and folding again to keep things that way. After I found a couple tops for myself I found a clearance top and fleece half zip for my daughter. Those 4 things came out to $56. The clothing (typically) lasts for a long time though and is well made. I gotta knock off a star for how strange the layout is though. If someone with a stroller had a hard time getting around I have to wonder how easy it would be for someone in a wheelchair to navigate. read more

Brief Summary -- Awesome location not far from freeway -- Awesome customer service -- Pretty good deals So.. I came here because I saw that they had cargo shorts for like $12. I couldn't find my size so I asked for help! My Mom always says "A closed mouth doesn't get fed." I believe it was Tiffany that helped me, I'm not 100% sure. But basically it was close to closing and she searched far and wide and found me 3 pairs of cargo shorts in my size! Exactly what I needed for a great price. I only occasionally shop at ON, no real reason why really. But I do remember having a great pair of black skinny pants from here that I loved to death, oh and some cheapie boots that I had for years. I've been meaning to stop on in, and I actually have ordered some odds and ends on line; shorts and a long summer dress. All really good deals and worked out well for what I needed. Maybe because it's just not super close and well, maybe I'm lazy to drive to Concord? Whatever the reason I got an inspiration after being in NYC and using the Old Navy's bathroom in Soho...haha you do what you gotta do in a big city. I didn't have time to peruse that day in NYC, but I knew when I got home I had a mission! So after returning home I had the following Monday off to recover from my late night flight. What a better day than to shop on a quiet monday! I headed to Concord and WoWwie Wow did I find some cool stuff! Okay, I went overboard.... But I got a good bang for my buck with all the sales. I got 4 pairs of the Rock Star pants in different material and colors: Olive cord, purple cotton, white cotton, and a replacement of those awesome black forgiving skinnies! And....7 shirts, a Chambray, a purple and green plaid, a light black blouse, a black tee, two pullover sweaters, and a dark grey casual long sleeve tee. And don't forget the three pairs of cute earrings! Loved the jewelry selection. All for $225, now I know that sounds like a lot of money... but I really can make a lot of outfits for work and fun with what I purchased. ON let's you bring in 10 items into the dressing room which is nice, not like some places that only give you 6. And when I needed a different size the clerk was super helpful and got me the right size and brought it to me in the dressing room. Oh and an off duty employee from another store mind you, saw me with the armful of clothes and brought me a store mesh bag to carry everything, she let me know she was off duty. I still thought that was really nice she went the extra mile while she was shopping herself. What a nice experience and I felt like I got great deals for my money. And if I really think about all I've purchased in the past from here, I've got some pretty great buys over the years. Yeah I love Old Navy.
