Beautiful displayed baby clothes, great quality & pleasant staff. Store was clean and well organized with easy to find age & sex specific Quality products. They also had some Osh Koch items, which was an added benefit. The clothes are stylish, even for the boys and I'm glad I stopped in for the baby items needed. I am being generous with three stars ... mainly because Carter's is such a reliable brand. I was anxious to see what this store had in stock, but found nothing that struck my fancy. Frankly, disappointed with what they had for baby girls in the 12 - 24 month range. I was in the store for several minutes and my presence was not acknowledged by any sales staff. Not even a "hello" or "what may I help you with?" My last purchase of Carter's was via the Kohl's website with same day pickup at the Pleasant Hill store -- and with prices about the same as this Carter's store. read more

I've had continued experiences with this store with online order pick ups, returning online orders, exchanging items in store... And everytime they do a great job, taking care of my request with ease. Alex (I believe was her name) helped me the other day and she was so friendly, patient and did a really great job understanding what I was asking when it was a little bit confusing. The store has cute clothes, awesome clearance prices, a reward program and helpful staff. I also love that I can order something online and have the option to either ship it to myself or to the store. There is also plenty of parking in the Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot, and it's super close to the store. I knocked off a star because they need a button to press to automatically open the doors for customers with strollers. read more

Review #055 - 2017 I love Carter's Babies & Kids! I especially love it when they have everything on sale for 50% off plus an additional 25% off if you spend over $40, which I can easily do. I don't think I've ever spent less than $100 on any given trip because they just have way too many cute stuff for babies. I usually end up buying 10-12 outfits at a time, but it's nice not to break the bank after all the discounts have been deducted from the purchase. I'm sure that I've spent well into the thousands with them since my daughter was born a little over a year ago and I will definitely keep buying from them until she can no longer shop at Carter's. read more

Besides being gorgeous, talented, and young in body and spirit, Gayle is a Grandmother, and a doting one. One of the pleasures of this part of our lives is attending the birthday parties and happily navigating among the little ones, their Moms, and the other set of Grandparents. I'm not quite sure why the Dads are mostly MIA for these events. Carter's is a handy place to stop for a last-minute Birthday gift for the DGD (Darling Granddaughter), but not so much for the Boys. The clothes are cute, the styles are sensible, and with nice price points. I'm also pleased that this long empty building within Downtown Pleasant Hill has found a good home. read more

One day you're watching you're sweet 3 year old running around in his 3T army pants from Carters and the next day hes in high waters like there's a flood about to happen only to people who are 3ft tall. Went in to store today to buy some presents for a friend's upcoming shower. Cute items & some nice sales. The lady behind the register seemed to have an issue with every customer she rang up. Very condescending and rude. I was extremely turned off with the customer service. She seemed to be the only sales lady in the whole store. When it was my turn to be rung up she was just as rude & passive aggressive to me. Yikes, I will continue spending my money at Janie & Jack and Nordstrom. Bad customer service is a deal breaker. Especially when your shopping for infant merchandise; takes away all the fun. read more

Stopped by with my sister to quickly pick up some clothes for my niece. Had lots of cute separates and matching set for 15 dollars or less! You can always count on Carter's for a great deal/sale/clearance!! We needed another pair of pants but they were out on the floor in the right size, so an employee kindly went and checked the back and was able to fin them so that was a plus! Two very friendly young women working tonight that were kind and personable! Great experience! read more

Carters is usually my go to store for my kids clothing. I like their quality and I like their sales. I usually order from the app. However today I did not have a good experience IN the store. My son is tall but very thin so finding pants for him is a challenge. I like how they have pants with adjustable waistbands but even then sometimes they are just too big. So instead of ordering on the carters app we went into the store in hopes of trying some on. I was told they didn't have a dressing room. I understand not needing to try clothes on your 6 mos old baby, but when you sell clothes for older kids you should have a dressing room. They were nice enough to offer for me to use the bathroom to try on the pants, but when we went in there it was absolutely disgustingly filthy with no where to sit. We tried for a minute to have my son try on pants standing up but that was such a hassle. And his socks had who knows what on them now. Eventually we gave up and I just bought some. We took them home and tried them on and guess what? They don't fit. Guess we'll be returning them (what a hassle that could have been avoided) and trying on some pants at kohl's or target..... read more

Now that I have Granddaughters my own personal shopping days are over. Carter's is a great place in Pleasant Hill. The parking is so so, especially on the weekends. You also have to contend with Michael's and Bed, Bath & Beyond shoppers. It is a large, clean and well organized shop. The only drawback...I want to walk out with everything! In the back is the clearance section, which is generally orderly. They will send you coupons and the more you spend, the more you save. There is always some sort of sale going on. I find it a great bargain. read more

Horrible attitude! The sales lady insisted on having their doors wide opened to a busy street. I told her it's very dangerous and she was very annoyed and with such an attitude she said thats why you have to keep your eyes on your kids! I love this store. The clothes are super cute and of good quality. I can always hand them down because they keep their shape and color very well. Now Carter's does put out a line of clothing available at Walmart, and I can't say the same about that line. The clothes loose their integrity after the first wash. As far as the Carter's store, they are affordable and have great deals. I have found great pieces in their clearance section for under $5. Lastly, they do have a rewards program where if you spend a certain amount, they will give you Carter's cash to spend at another time. read more

I love Carter's clothes for my daughter. They fit true to size and I can always find cute stuff in both the boys and girls section. This store is a pretty good size, and always has a pretty good selection. I've found cute stuff in the clearance for as cheap as $2. The cashiers are present but not overly helpful. They've never ignored me, so that's good. Parking is annoying but that's got nothing to do with the store. We'll keep shopping here regardless. read more

The gals here are sooooo friendly! I had an awesome experience. The store has a nice layout with a real open feel. Most locations are really tightly packed and that's tough when you're trying to navigate with a stroller out a toddler for that matter. I came in to find a sees for my daughter's third birthday party. It's Hello Kitty themed and the dress would have to work with that. I always choose Carter's for special occasion dresses and they never disappoint. The quality & aesthetic is always spot on. I like that they include natural fiber dresses for asocial occasions. If you try Target or even higher end department stores it's really tough avoiding polyester. I had her dress in my sight as soon as I walked in through the door. A black and white polka dot dress and they had the purrfect Hello Kitty-esque red bow headband! Carter's never disappoints. read more

The only reason I came here was to return a gift that didn't fit my son. 2 ladies were at the counter-1 was ringing up customers, the other was doing something with merchandise and receipts. There were 4 people ahead of me in line. The one not helping guests never looked up or acknowledged anyone. The one that did help didn't smile, and looked irritated to be working. Stopped in on a whim looking for valentine's stuff and a newborn outfit for my soon- to-be-born 2nd granddaughter and my 3yo granddaughter- oh wow you totally get sucked into all the stuff they have (those who have shopped here know what I am talking about) Great selection, great prices and nicely organized The real reason for the review is to recognize the girl that was working on the register Saturday 1/31/15- she was exceptionally nice & let me know about what they offer for grandparents- she was genuinely interested that I found what I needed-- now I know she was probably not enthralled with hearing about my new granddaughter but she was warm & friendly- this is somewhat unusual in the Bay Area where the people working in many businesses act like they are doing you a favor just breathing- I did not catch her name but you are lucky to have engaged, friendly sales staff Carters! I just got home from Carters in Pleasant Hill I must say I love this store the layout was really good and everything was in order the sales people were super friendly and very insightful they even signed me up for their coupons which was very quick,easy and painless not like other stores.....I love their clothes there. they have the cutest outfit ever.. I went in to look for a pair of shoes and I was talked into buying six or seven outfits not complaining they are super cute never been happier on what I got and for the price I got it..Wow I have a son that is few years older and I was able to pass them down to my brothers kids and they still look awesome now I have a little girl and she gets all excited when she sees me walk in with Carter bags....lol My only complaint I have about Carters is they stop having clothes around 8 because I would shop there until my kids went through high school super affordable and good quality read more

Really great staff, great sales, organized, clean and super adorable clothes. You can't get cuter than carters. They have great shoes and accessories, too. The parking is somewhat of a pain for this location, especially with small kids. I think they should work on that. Otherwise I love this spot. read more

This store is dangerous! Don't ever buy anything full price because everything goes on sale. They also ALWAYS have 15-20% off coupons. Downside, I received a lot of Carter's clothes at my baby shower and when I pre-washed, many items came out with loose threads. Although, I'm pretty sure those items were purchased at TJMaxx. Don't buy Carter's clothing elsewhere...it's usually MORE expensive and probably not the best quality (factory seconds). read more

The cashiers are friendly. Not overly helpful but they are present when I have a question. Shoe selection for boys is lacking. I'm used to having less of a clothes selection but the shoes went from infant to large toddler and nothing in between. they have great sales and warm jammies here. read more

Nice little store with very friendly and helpful staff. They are almost always having a sale of some sort, which is nice since small children grow so freaking fast. Getting on their mailing list is good for coupons. The coupons generally work on sale items (but not clearance), so you can really save at least 40% if not more. read more

I love this store! Carter's and Oshkosh have really stepped up their game, I used to only buy pjs from them and not even from this store but other retailers with my first son but that is no longer the case. I shop for both my 10 year old son and my 3 month old. I have always found both brands to be high quality but not necessarily high in style but as of recent I find both boys the cutest stuff every time I go in. They have an enormous selection and their prices are unbelievably good especially when they are running sales which is very often. The employees here are so nice and helpful as well. read more

I came here for a cute outfit my son could take pictures in. I literally walked in excited about the day and walked out pissed. There were two "customer service representatives" standing in the front conversing amongst each other. I needed help finding the match to the last pair of shoes in my sons size. I walked over to Mary and Catrina and asked for assistance. Mary sent Catrina to help me. Right then, I could feel the attitude/tension from catrina. Like helping a customers was not in her job description! I tried to brush it off with maybe she is having a bad day or something. So finally I found the match now I am checking out. Mary is busy with merchandise so I check out with CATRINA. she never smiled! she never greeted me, literally!! she jus started scanning items. I spent $50 on an outfit and she didn't even want to sign me up to get emailed discounts. I told her she is being very transparent and she should work on not showing the customers her attitude. immediately she starts repeating "u wanna talk to the manager". I said "Yes, actually" she tells Mary "she wants to talk to you" I said "NO, I want to talk to her boss..the big boss" Catrina says "she not here you want the number" I said "yes, actually" so Catrina walks away to call Big boss. Long story short, big boss handled the situation well along with Mary they stayed pleasant and professional. Catrina however needs to be trained in customer service before she ruins this Carters reputation read more
