If you are looking for affordable everyday times this is a perfect place. I've bought lots of kitchen, storage, beauty products, stationery goodies and snacks and drinks throughout the years. Price has definitely increased and not all items are $1.75. Only 4/5 stars because cell service doesn't work whenever I'm in there. I like that they have self checkout as well which I use. Conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking.

Various sizes of dishes for feeding my foster kittens - A collection of small ceramic dishes with various shapes, colors, and patterns is displayed on a wooden tray. The dishes include checkered blue and white patterns, plain gray, a pink dish with a script, and a white scalloped-edged dish. The background shows kitchen items such as a paper towel roll, spray bottle, and other containers.

I really like this store!! I foster kittens & was looking for the right size/ depth dishes for their wet food. It might seem trivial, but it's important that the dish is shallow, small, not plastic, & easy to clean. Petco is just absurdly expensive & the bowls are so big that doing dishes for so many kittens was overwhelming. Daiso's wide selection of dishes allowed me to find a variety of beautiful, ceramic dishes that are easy for the kittens to eat from, don't make too big of a mess, & REALLY makes clean up so much easier. And the price was even better than Amazon! They also have great garden stuff! The only thing I dont like is that there are no U.S. prices on the items so it made it was more difficult to figure out how much things cost. But otherwise, awesome!

Okay, I have an obsession with Daiso. Hear me out. Daiso has everything, and I mean everything. Whatever you need, Daiso probably has. You can refer to the price conversion charts posted around the store to find out the price of an item, otherwise items are $1.75 by default if there is no specified price. It doesn't get any better than that. I like to take my time walking through each aisle to see what I can find. There is always something new, so each visit is a fresh experience. I've gotten lots of things from here--mostly organizational stuff, cases, cable management stuff, etc. And with cute designs to! I'm ALWAYS down for cute designs. My only gripe is that this location is smaller than the other locations around the Bay Area, meaning that walking room is tight and the aisles can get kind of cramped. But it's so worth it.

I love Daiso!! Bought socks for my chair legs were perfect, I bought 6 pack of 4.. They were 1.75 for a pack of 4.. Great customer service, friendly, not an expensive store.. This is one of my favorite stores

Prices - The image features a clear plastic sign with a pink header titled 'Price Conversion Chart,' listing Japanese yen prices alongside their US dollar equivalents for different items. The chart includes multiple rows with prices in yen on the left and corresponding dollar amounts on the right, covering a range from ¥150 to ¥1200 in yen and $2.00 to $15.00 in dollars. The sign is attached to a metal hook and is positioned among store shelves with baskets and other products visible in the background.

Like a cross between the $5 dollar store and an Asian market. Lots of unusual items, but set up like the Dollar store. Housewares, personal care items, yummy Asian snacks and candies. Arts and crafts supplies, back to school needs, fun place to look around even if you aren't in need. Clean, easy access to everything, it is well organized. You have to know your prices if you really care, can be overpriced. Inventory is limited so buy what you like now. Staff friendly and well informed.

A yellow correction tape dispenser with Japanese text and a green number 5 is hanging on a display hook in a retail store. The dispenser is designed for applying correction tape, with specifications indicating 5mm width and 12m length. The packaging includes additional Japanese characters and a small illustration of a butterfly. The store environment features metal shelving and other stationery products visible in the background.

I think Daiso is way better than American dollar stores, and also they follow the covid rules.

I love coming in to see what I may find today. You just never know when you may find some incredible bargain. But the customer service is unfortunately lacking. The individuals at the register are often rude and lack the basics of customer service. They also got rid of their scanning systems, which makes it less convenient and harder, as you have to wait in line at the changing room to get pricing.

One of the items I was returning did not have a tag, which occasionally happens when items are shipped. She told me, in a harsh tone, that if I ever brought an item without a tag again, the return would not be accepted. I explained that the trousers had arrived that same day and were sent to me without a tag. Her response felt accusatory, as though I had done something wrong. When I mentioned that items should be sent with tags attached, she said she was not responsible and was only enforcing store policy. The situation escalated when she abruptly stopped the return, threw the items she had already processed back toward me, and loudly said, "I will not help you--go to someone else," while making dismissive gestures. I was very shaken and confused by the way I was treated, as I have never attempted to return worn items or abuse the return policy in any way. --She did not greet me when I approached, unlike the other cashiers, and appeared visibly upset. I left the store feeling shaken and had to take a moment before driving away. I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, but I was unable to get it. I hope the store can review the security footage to better understand what happened. I believe this situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and respect.

There's plenty of places to shop and plenty of places to eat and probably fits with budgets of all different sizes. It has the staples that you tend to see at other outlet malls and centers but have unique eateries and shops as well. During this time of year (November), there's also an ice rink that lots of people seem to enjoy. Some family wanted to go to Sephora and man it was packed! Which is not surprising, since we were there on the busy shopping day of the year. I got to do some other browsing at J Crew. It was a short trip overall, but I can easily see people spending hours here if they needed to do some serious shopping. Came here with family because they wanted to do some shopping on Black Friday. It was really hectic as you would expect. The parking situation was pretty crazy and it took a while of driving around and luck to get a parking spot.

Cars circling incessantly looking for that elusive space. Some drivers obviously getting impatient based on their rapid acceleration and sudden braking whenever it appeared that someone was approaching their vehicle or stepped on their brake pedal. From what little we observed, there is a very good mix of business present which is great to see. So many other destination shopping areas are suffering vacancies and closed businesses. I imagine that parking is not such a mess during the day or perhaps on weeknights and yes, this was the day after New Years so more people were probably out and about. Still, had I really understood what the parking situation was like, I would have made reservations for another night. And it wasn't any better when we left at 7pm either.
