Giant bags of fries and chips from Korea
Veronica L.

Nice Asian snack and food mart with a wide variety of items, including cleaning supplies and cookware. Got some snacks for my kids' lunches and some dried plum. Place is kept clean and the checkout lady was nice. Prices are what you would expect for imported food items.

So many things to look at

Shocked this store is not packed to the brim with people. It's huge and packed with so many goodies. Candies, basic home goods, self-care items, glassware, dried herbs and fruits, and other random items. Ever wanted an oversized bag of chips the size of your body? Well, now you can have it even if you didn't know you needed it. The value seems good, prices aren't too high and the staff is polite. You can use Apple Pay here and the checkout is a fast process.

Instant noodles

I'm thrilled to see a new Asian market popping up in Concord (in the space that used to be occupied by Goodwill). The market seems to be geared towards carrying a variety of Chinese goodies, such as snacks, candies, chips, cookies, noodles, etc. The store felt very spacious and therefore it was very comfortable to walk around the store. Note that the dates you see on most products sold here are the manufacture dates (not expiration dates), this is because most of those products are imported goods. I ended up buying delicious gummies, snacks, and some instant noodles. The lady at the cashier seemed nice and friendly. I would definitely go back and get more stuff. It seems like they're still working on adding more products to the store, so I'm looking forward to it.

Chinese Red Bull

Cool Chinese supermarket with lots of stuff shipped straight from China. The place is clean, well-organized, and has a great selection. Definitely worth checking out if you're into Asian snacks.

This collection should last me about a month or two. Big big fan. Perfect spice for me.

We initially didn't know there was free parking in a nearby parking structure until our friends told us, but luckily we found free street parking around the area for two hours. First impression walking in was how clean the whole place felt. I also liked that there were so many different vendors and cuisines for us all to choose from. Whether you're craving Korean Food, Japanese Food, Peruvian Food, American BBQ, Burgers, or pretty much anything else, you'll probably find something here. Honestly, a lot of the vendors caught my attention because what they offered looked really good. We also spotted a cashew based ice cream shop, which was perfect for dessert after our meal. I also liked how everything was indoors too, especially since it keeps people sheltered from the weather on hot days. Another thing I appreciated was the amount of tables and seating made available. It didn't feel stressful trying to find a place to sit, and we were here on a Sunday. As we walked through the market, I thought the layout was designed really well. The way everything was set up made the place feel a lot bigger and more spacious than it actually was. I thought that was pretty smart. I'd definitely come back to this public market again next time I'm in the area.

Located at this historic Lawrence Warehouse (built way back in the 1910's) and directly on R St. and tucked in between 11th & 12th Sts, WAL which is an acronym of "Warehouse Artist Lofts" became the focal point as this indoor area accommodates and operates various businesses year-round. Here, you will find a broad collection of small independently owned businesses that include "Fish Face Poke Bar", "MediumRare Records & Collectibles", "Shop Old Gold" (clothing), "bsR brand" (designer clothing), "Kechmara Designs" (Moroccan rugs), "Roderick Cooney Photography", and "Warehouse Artist Lofts" which showcase creative artist spaces for people that wish to live and be a part of this community experience. Additionally, there are several other small businesses that offer food & drink options which makes it an excellent one-stop shop. I will say that public access is readily available as normal business hours run from 8am-9pm Monday through Saturday and 11am-9pm on Sunday. Parking is surprisingly not too bad as I've been fairly lucky in the 10+ various times visiting here. However, it does get quite busy during the morning and lunch rush so keep that in mind. I also wanted to add that there are public restrooms (which require a code) but any WAL employee will be happy to provide that code to you. All in all, "WAL Public Market" is a truly unique, innovative, and rewarding experience. Whether you wish to indulge in an espresso drink, a poke bowl, a vinyl record, a vintage shirt, this place offers things that you can't find elsewhere. With the dazzling and eclectic creativity that went into this renovation and the surprisingly uplifting service I've received here over the years, I am giving this market an above average four-star rating.

At WAL Public Market there is an art gallery with two and three dimensional art hanging on the walls along the main corridor. There is a food court in the front directly to the right of the main entrance. And just past the food court is a sweet vintage clothing store called Old Gold. There is plenty of parking on the street.

This farmers market as a small town charm to it and every person I interacted with was friendly. I was in the area because I crashed at a buddy's house the night before. When I was leaving the area, I saw this place and wanted to check it out. Keep in mind it was around the holidays and it was drizzling a bit that Sunday, so I'm not sure if it affected the amount of vendors present as this was my first time visiting. I ended up getting some enchiladas to go from one of the vendors selling Mexican food and a loaf of quinoa bread from one of the bakers (West Won Bread out of Napa). The food was good and the quinoa loaf was amazing and enjoyed by my parents and I later on when we served with some stew. Would love to re-visit with better weather conditions and different parts of the year. But definitely an enjoyable market based on my first visit.

THAT WAS FUN! Had my…read moreone and only taste of the Napa Farmers Market, and it is thee place to be on Saturday Morning. Tons of parking, tons of vendors, tons of yummy food! Since I'm passing thru Napa, I didn't buy any "produce", as I will be on flying, and that doesn't make sense. However, I was able to taste and try many of the food vendors present. First off, OHM Coffee. As it was 83 degrees, I didn't want anything hot --- I opted for the Iced Matcha Latte. It was delicious! Nothing that made it "stand out", but I know a good Iced Matcha when I taste one --- definitely started my rounds around the market right! For breakfast, I've been craving a good breakfast burrito and found the vendor, "Earth's Bounty". It was a bit of a healthier take on the chorizo and potatoes --- they swapped it out for bacon and roasted veg. which included zucchini and sweet potatoes --- but I was pleasantly surprised! I devoured the whole thing!! The tortilla was warmed perfectly, and the melted cheese that crisped up on the grill made it EXCELLENT! To top it off, I visited a stand selling "MAUI STYLE POTATO CHIPS", helmed by the most friendly woman, named Sara. She was so awesome, and let me sample whatever I wanted. Needless to say, I purchased 3 bags of chips for $27. If bought individually, it would be $10 per bag. Such a great market to visit whenever your in Napa! 10/10!
