This salmon was pre-seasoned with cooking instructions, just remove the lid and pop in the oven: totally recommended. Came out very good!

It's so funny how when a lady asked me to apply for an executive club membership, I said "no" because I don't come here that often. I've been coming here a lot more and more than what I said to the lady when I first applied for membership years ago. I really love that there is a Costco close to me. This Costco has great selection of items and I always get what I need. The one con about going to Costco is everything is big. What I mean is if I need just a carton of milk it comes in a pack of three. But the price is right. Costco always has great holiday items. Costumer service is ok. I rarely need to ask for help. Unless I go to Optical or their foodcourt area and then when you check out. That's the only real reaction with employees at Costco.

I booked an appointment to have my tires replaced. When arrival, just park on the tire space for customers. The staff got my information and provided an estimate of 1 hour and 15 mins. My wife and I shopped around to kill time for a bit. When we were at the register, the lady scanned my membership and told us we are eligible for a 2% discount since we moved to Oakley. We just need to update our address at the membership counter. I was really surprised and didn't knew at all. After everything was done in about an hour, we waiting at the tire shop. One of the staff came and said the car was ready which was pretty quick than the estimated time. What I liked was how the staff done an amazing job explaining everything in detail.

So as friends, family and Co-Workers (Yeah I am talking about you) will attest we have a obsession with Costco. So much so we have a set of Costco Rules we live by (after the review). This is your typical Costco and it flows in a clockwise direction from the entrance. You have your typical array of electronics and season items int he front and center and work you way back to the meat and freezer sections As I stated in my review of the the Mountain View location, we do have some rules to help keep our obsession under control: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

I really only come to COSTCO for the food. If you are short on money, or trying to get a quick bite, this is the spot. You don't need their membership in order to eat at their food court. COSTCO is well known for that hot dog value: $1.50 for a hot dog AND a drink! You could never beat that. Pizza is $1.99, and the slice is generous and delicious. I do have a membership I had been given, but I don't shop here because it's not worth it for me. In my opinion, COSTCO is great to buy in bundles. Perfect for families and numerous people for a long time. Since I live alone, I don't need to purchase these bundles, that are naturally more expensive But COSTCO is a winner, and it always stay busy. The one here in Pittsburg is full of deals, with electronics, glasses and numerous things to look at. Parking is big, so you'll be okay to at least get a spot

    Tasha , Superior customer service!

My husband and I just had the BEST experience from the Optical department from an associate by the name of TASHA .We thought she was the Manager !. My husband was only going to purchase 1 pair of glasses ,he end up buying 2 pair! She took her time explaining and listening to all my husband questions and concerns and making sure the center of his vision was centered and marked the glasses for pickup . NOW that is ***** Customer service. Friendly and Knowledgeable consumers ask for Tasha . She the Best That made his birthday in which is today!

    August 2024 - Food Court's Latte $2.99

SELF-CHECKOUT: The Costco worker scans your items instead of the you scanning the items yourself. FOOD COURT: All food from Food Court have to pay tax. - Hot Dog & Soda - $1.50 - Pepperoni or Cheese pizza - $1.99 per slice - Whole pizza (Pepperoni or Cheese) - $9.99 - Chocolate Chip Cookie $2.49 When the worker handed me the cookie, it was warm like out of the oven. I ate a piece of cookie when it was warm which tasted good but then I ate the rest later when the cookie cooled down and to me it tasted better when it cooled down than when it was warm. - Latte $2.99 It was good. It was not too sweet. To all Costcos: It'll be better if you have one line for customers to wait for the next available window for picking up snack purchases from the Food Court. Many times, no matter which line I stand in, is the worst line to wait. It'll be more fair for customers, if there is only one line to wait for the next window.

    Costco has compost bins!

Orange vest workers roamed the parking lot offering assistance but kindly declined. A helpful option, nonetheless. Great staff! Excellent service. My wife and I finally became members!! YAYYY…read more. We went today and picked up our membership cards. First impression, this place is hugh lol and I did not like standing on the Member Services line because it moved a bit slow. Nonetheless, immediately after getting our cards we were on our way to explore. I like that everything is in it's place and it was clean throughout the store. We checked prices, ate the free food/snacks lol, and checked out the prices. We even bought some items. I'm happy that we made this decision because some items have become way too expensive just to buy 1 and t then it don't even last. I guess it is told to begin to buy in bundles so we can get our money's worth.

I specifically explained that my tires were already in the red levels 2,3,3,4 and that I did not want to drive over an hour if nothing could be done. I was assured that after the technicians checked the tires, the warranty would make the cost less than buying a brand-new set of four tires. When I arrived, the front desk associate tried to help but was unfortunately unfriendly and dismissive. Basics asking what I wanted them to do about it. So I had asked since they are the professionals to take a look at my car especially since I do not work there and I do not know what their protocol what are. Regarding the warranty, I was told that the tire thread was low obviously because it was in the red as I mentioned on the phone so it was my fault for driving too much. I was told it would only save me about $20-$30, followed by a comment that it "wasn't worth it" because of the work involved in processing it and sending it back to the maker. I'm sorry, but that is not her decision to make. A warranty exists for a reason, and even a small amount off a purchase could have influenced my decision. I was then told the warranty could not be applied because I did not rotate and balance my tires at Sam's Club, even though I get those services done during regular maintenance at my dealership or oil change locations. This explanation made no sense to me. what is the purpose of a warranty if it becomes invalid for routine maintenance done elsewhere and why tell me how much I could have gotten with the warranty to only tell me I wouldn't qualify. I made it clear that I was not blaming her personally, but I wanted them to understand how frustrating it was to drive that far based on the information I was given. Her response was to tell me that she also drives an hour to work, implying that my frustration wasn't valid, which felt incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional. When I asked for a quote, I was told the Michelin Defender 2 tires would be over $800. I mentioned that the same tires at Costco or American Tire are closer to $750 after tax, and she told me "That's our price" I later checked the Sam's Club app and saw the tires listed for about $140 each, which is actually cheaper than Costco or American Tire and comes out to less that $750!!! The pricing I was quoted did not match what was shown online. The associate also assumed I drive 24,000 miles per year, stating that my tires were close to the 60,000-mile warranty anyway. In reality, I drive about 12,000 miles per year, which is documented through my insurance. I am a full-time mom who mainly drives locally for school drop-offs and errands. I truly dislike writing negative reviews, but every point made during this interaction felt illogical, dismissive, and frustrating. I was not demanding anything. I simply wanted to be heard as a customer and for my concerns to be acknowledged. Instead, I was met with eye-rolling, a lack of empathy, and a "nothing we can do" attitude. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to Sam's Club for tire services. Also if you are considering purchasing tires at a Sam's Club make sure you get your tires balanced and rotated properly at a Sam's Club otherwise I guess warranty is voided. This is the first time in 23 years of driving that I had to replace all four tires by the second year of driving.
