Received a bag of dog food with a large hole that had been taped shut before being shipped. Sending pet food out in that condition is completely unacceptable and unsafe. We've spent over an hour on hold with Customer Solutions on multiple days and got nowhere. When we called the store, they blamed the delivery company, even though the bag was clearly taped shut before it was sent out. We were told we have to bring it back ourselves, despite living over an hour away and choosing delivery for that reason. No refund, no replacement, and no accountability. read more

I have been a customer of Tractor Supply for over 8 years when I got my dog Willie. The service has always been awesome when it comes to his supplies. I do give them a top rating. Sadly I recently stopped ordering his dog food and switched to another retailer. After several not so good delivery issues with a contractor I could not take any more chances of running out of food. Orders sat in "Ready for Delivery" mode and when they did get picked up went missing requiring I ask for a refund or I had to be home to walk the person into building. Perhaps I will come back when these issues are resolved. I started using Tractor Supply in 2017 and was very happy until recently. I do recommend them especially if one of the major carriers delivers. read more

Went there today to wrap up some Christmas shopping and by daddy's (my own) Christmas gift today. I purchased a new gun safe & I wanted to take a moment & give this TSC some props. I dealt with a girl named Riley & a young fella named Lucas. Those two offered out of this world customer service. I was very impressed with their willingness to help. They were both quite kind & affable, straight up classic, good ole customer service with a smile. So many thanks to those two, they did a fantastic job. I had a hundred questions, I changed my mind once or twice & throughout the entire transaction, they helped me along. The store offers delivery, it was seemingly costly ($189.00 to deliver a 409lb safe around 50MI). However, when one considers the extreme weight of the aforementioned item & the distance, I suppose ultimately the shipping price is reasonable when comparing the grief of the logistics they're saving me. The same day of the purchase (today) I got a text from the guy who does the deliveries. This is the one area that could use a little improvement. I asked him, approximately, when he'd come - unclear. So I asked the guy to give me a timeframe eg: "approximately between 10AM and 1pm"'for example... Bro says "Between 11AM and 5PM, but it's raining so not sure". I have 4 kids to look after, "between 11AM and 5PM" is a large window, wherein I'll be committed to staying home to receive the delivery. That's 7hrs I can't go anywhere & I have to keep these wild children entertained. Suffice to say the ambiguity about the delivery is a bit frustrating, but we will survive. In closing - I mean it's a TSC, who doesn't love a TSC store? They've got the standard stock/inventory. Is worthy to note, I was at another TSC (Los Banos) this morning & the Los Banos TSC had better sales & sale prices than this Brentwood one. Good store either way, love going to the TSC! I went to purchase wood pellets for a wood burning stove and i found them stored outside in direct contact with water. There at least 18 bags that were disintegrating in the moisture. I brought this to the managers attention and was told that area was were the main office told them to store the pellets. I have been buying then at that store for 10 yrs. I had driven by this place and finally decided to stop by. I like that the parking is big and the place feels calm. There is a ton of animal supply. So I heard they sell pellets in large amounts. I buy pellets for my cat litter. The medium size bag is about $32 at any other store. I bought a sack of pellets that could be used for horses,cats,or bunnies for $8. I got triple the amount for a really great price. I purchased 2 large sacks so I wouldn't have to return in a long time. This place literally saved me so much money. read more

They have demand for hay, and have a horrible reputation for always being out, so at this point I always call first to confirm hay is in stock. Called today and was told yes, orchard was in stock. Two hours later at the check stand told no. Asked for just 3 bales because I know they always keep a few back and was told no by the manager. So now I've got wasted time and gas driving to the store and have to scramble to hay for my animals. I'm DONE! You lost a customer today. read more

Employee who looked to be the manager as everybody was asking him questions told us they are under construction and all of the stuff outside is hard to get to, so they're not selling anything That is outside. Went in to Tractor Supply this morning a little after 9 am Looking to buy a pellet stove... looked at the ones on Display, for about 10 minutes. There was a worker about 20 feet stocking the selve.. we asked her if there was someone to help us with the pellet stoves, she did call someone on her Radio.. we waited about 10 more minutes and Nobody came.. we'll go to ACE .. now mind you as we drove up my husband said we haven't been here since about 2 years...there was a Issue with us loading 8 bags of "40" Lb pellet ( my husband at the time was 78 years old ) there was about 4 or 5 of look like new Hires .. the thing was we were right next to them outside, Not one of them asked " if " we needed help.. But after he Struggled putting in the last bag one of them walked up and asked if they could see his receipt, .. I'm in my Late 60's he is 80 now .. were old !!! OMG! The people here are super nice and really, really helpful. They have almost everything you would need if you live in a farm or a beaver property they have things just like stoves barbecues that hooks. They have glow stick, animal feed, Halloween decorations, dog treats, cat treats, welding, and tools, hardware and paint toys for younger kids they have farm parts and supplies, feed, food and supplies. TRASH!!!!! Absolutely everything about this store is terrible. The management, the maintenance, and their materials. This is by far the worst feed store I've ever been in, the management is awful and anything and everything you're looking for is not stocked up. One would figure that with each season, they would predict the increase/dec of bathing/inscet activity as the temp rose to 103. But no. Everything was sold out. Dewormer for the cat dogs and horses, grain unavailable, could barely buy horse shampoo or even cat food. Unfortunately this is the only feed store in Brentwood that can sometimes provide. ALSO, the manager closed an hour early on a Sunday after their website, google maps, and sign out front their store said 8pm with a crowd of atleast 30 people out front of their door at 7:15pm desperately trying to provide and care for their animals, he responded with "we're closed. All our people that actually shop here know that we are closed at 7 and I'd have to pay overtime so sorry but we're closed". THERE WAS OVER 30 people waiting in desperate need of food, supplies, medicine !!! Personally , It was breeding/foaling season... I needed replacement milk for a foal. LIFE OR DEATH! On day one!! And he took over 25 minutes to even get to the front door from the back just to tell us no. The workers were embarrassed. I am not one to tear down a nice country company but this one is absolutely disgusting and nothing more than a joke. Overpriced, understocked, and unfortunately a fail to local people trying to shop in person instead of online. Today was my first time going to Tractor Supply for their Sunday - PetVet I left there so frustrated and disgusted with the services my DISABLED dog and I received. When it was our turn to come up for Nova's HWT, the tech asked me if there was any issues they needed to know about. I told them she was deaf, had stranger danger and to move slow. I had put her muzzle on prior to us arriving at the front of the line. The DR had me bring Nova over to the table where the tech tried to lift her up. She was startled and let out a cry. The technician kinda looked at me and I offered to pick her up myself. After putting Nova on the table the DR tried to give her the HWT but again...she was frightened and pulled and the DR couldnt get the test done. She started looking super frustrated and asked me if I could come to the front of Nova so she could see me. I did what she asked and even started to pet Nova's nose to keep her calm. The tech barked at me "you aren't allowed to touch her during the procedure"... So I stopped and as long as Nova was able to see me they did the test. The DR was shaking her head in frustration and I'm just standing there like.....really??? 1st off - The DR looked like she didn't even want to bother being there. Complete RBF the entire time, no smiling, no kindness.... and definitely no compassion for a disabled pet. 2nd - You guys need to be nicer to your paying customers about how they cant touch the animal. This is something that needs to be discussed PRIOR to stepping up to see the animal. Not every dog you work on is going to be perfect. 3rd - Will never bring any of my pets here again. I ordered a poultry pen/dog run and during the delivery the hardware and manual must have fallen out of the gaping hole in the packaging. I called the online service as well as the Brentwood TS store. Both were very helpful and quick to remedy the situation and replace the hardware. At the Brentwood store, they let me use their hardware for their display and I will give my replacement ones being delivered again. Tim and especially Andrea both went above and beyond which is exactly what I admire in a good business and my own motto in life and work. Every single time I shop TS in Brentwood they have been friendly and always helpful with a big smile- every single one. I am excited that Tractor Supply is opening up in Brentwood. We quickly stopped by right after Abigail's gym class. Mind you I haven't been in any Tractor Supply before. My first impression was that TS is a little bit of Orchard, Pet Smart, and Bass Pro shop. Dog lovers rejoice, as there are many supplies and accesories for your fido. There are ample selection of outdoor outfits and gear. Farming and planting supplies are aubundunt including machinery. What I really look forward to is that TS has much better selections of gun safes. Currently, there was only one huge Cannon and a 18-gun Winchester safe. No problems, I am sure ordering online will have an option to ship to store. Oh did I mention TS regulary have sales on thier safe? I was pleased with what Tractor Supply has to offer. I shop here often. I love this store. But, damn. It was time to get 10 New chicks. Of course, I went into tractor supply and told the person helping me that I needed pullets. He was super nice, but one of the chicks that he ended up picking out was a Cornish hen. Everyone selling chicks should know what they're selling for this exact reason. You have to butcher Cornish between 8-10 weeks. Which I don't want to do. I didn't want meat birds, I wanted production. If your staff can't tell the difference, don't put Cornish in the same bin with egg layers. Now I am stuck with this chick, who I have had for almost a week, and am at a total loss. She's absolutely enormous. Manager said he can't take her back. Donate her. I'll be sure to drive around looking for someone to take in a week old Cornish during the COVID quarantine. Bought a trailer and hitch from TSC. We actually bought it online and picked it up 4 days later. Audra was the employee we were dealing with. She was amazing from the moment we came in contact to the moment we left. She was very competent and knowledgeable in her services and what we needed to do with registration for DMV. They will do it there for you for a $40 cash only fee that DMV gets. We had to buy something small to get cash back since neither hubby nor I had cash on us. Whole process took about 30 minutes. Audra gave us all her attention and made sure we picked out a trailer to our satisfaction. Cameron - is always willing to help find the nuts and screws sizing them for me along with giving his recommendations on what he thinks would work right for what I need. Along with that when I would come for loads of food and he is always helpful with loading the truck when help is needed. Camerons customer service has been absolutely amazing every time I go in. Tractor supply is a great place to get a lot of things. For living on a ranch it can be one stop shop but I'm disappointed when I found out they have stop their veterans discount to only allowing it on Fourth of July and Veterans Day. Lowe's and Home Depot offer i24/7 seven. This store used to do the discount every day. And then I was a formed of the recent change. I believe that veterans are the ones they gave us the freedoms that we have today and we owe so much to them. Many of them are on fixed incomes and are tight for money. My research into this shows that it's a manager decision per store. I think they should reevaluate their policy and have a military veterans discount every day every little bit helps these people that helped us. My own two cents read more

Ordered two 10x10x6 dog runs for a shed two nights ago in the final stages of a project. This location had the two dog runs in stock and offered delivery with an expected surcharge which was to be expected. Twelve hours later we received a cancellation notice with no call or follow up email explaining why it was cancelled or a Plan B in how to (perhaps) get them from a different location. We called customer service and were met with a robot answering service and then an immediate disconnection of the call. A total joke of a company. We were on a time crunch to complete this project and Tractor Supply clearly demonstrated that they are not reliable. Go somewhere else. Or better yet....just order from Amazon. We got 2-day delivery for excellent steel pallets for a dog run. read more
