Cora at Jewelry counter is an angel and gives EXCELLENT customer service. My one day off I like to shop and I can spend my money anywhere but I enjoy such good service and will be back!

My dog loves this toy! - A soft plush toy sheep named 'Country Buddy' is held in a pet store aisle, with various dog toys and plush animals visible in the background.

Love this TJ Maxx! It's fun to walk around this store to check a huge variety of stuff - from home decoration items to dog toys. Speaking of which, they have a huge selection of dog toys. Found a little-lamb squeaky plush toy looking exactly like the one we had at home that our dog loved so much. The only difference was that the one we had at home had one of his ears already chewed off by our dog, lol, so I was so happy to find a brand new one. Our dog will go bananas when she sees the new one :)

Popped in with a friend. Loved all the Christmas options. I needed a Christmas outfit to wear at the local animal shelter for a few upcoming events. We did a Christmas Donation Drive and also 2 days of photos with Santa. Thank you TJMax for having just what I needed. I didn't want to spend too much- visions of it being ruined at the shelter. My dress is going strong. I plan to use it again next season. As well as stock up on more holiday items. I also stocked up on doggy toys. Such a great assortment. I always check out the flavored coffees as well. My parents love all the different flavors I find. A great, yet inexpensive way to show I remembered them, and think of them. Parking has never been a problem. I like to go in the morning- less crowded than later in the day.

Free cockroach! - A tiny insect is seen on a white curtain next to a beige curtain in an indoor setting.

I love TJ Maxx, but who doesn't? I could get lost circling the store for hours in search of cosmetics, clothes and home goods that I desperately want but don't need. Recently, they have stepped up their game though. As a child, clothes came with a small toy or accessory. My adult self misses this small details almost as much as I miss justifying a McNugget Happy Meal. I was pleased to find that TJ Maxx is now offering additional items to go with a purchase!

Happy holidays to him. Tj maxx... taking hot to the maxx

As I walked from my car at the very far end of the parking lot to the entrance, a man accosted me with crazy talk. I humored him until I could make my escape into a more public area. Poor guy. Once safely inside, I was greeted by a smiling face who offered me a cart. When I declined and opted for a basket, she then fetched a nice shoulder bag instead. (Although, after a bit of shopping I ended up going back up front for a cart). I'm not a big gift giver and I hate shopping for myself. So, that being said, I had fun walking around in here. I found a couple of clothing items for sister, brother-in-law, mom, and dad. There were a little bit pricier than I was looking for, but I liked the brands, the styles, and the quality. Even got some undies for my husband. Not the animal-style thongs that I like to see him in, just some regular well-fitting Puma briefs. Too bad they don't sell men's thongs. Who doesn't love to come home to an elephant or peacock-clad man cooking dinner?! Most importantly, the girl at the fitting room (though I tried nothing on) was extremely nice and helpful. Tall, slender, African American girl. I complimented her on her outfit and showed her a pair of tights I was thinking about getting for me. I told her I don't know what to wear them with (husband usually helps me dress because he's more stylist than I am) and she offered to come help me find something cute, but I had to run. I was out of shopping time and needed to make a quick exit. Medium speed check-out with a nice intercom service telling you which cashier was free. Out of there for less than $200, and now I'm done shopping.

I like me some salsa n' chips

The store was very messy and overwhelming going into the store. Left right after walking in.

How much does a tissue paper cost?…read more Today I took my 83 year old mother out shopping to buy a baby shower stuffed animal. Her total purchase was $31. (2 stuffed animals purchased separately) I also purchased 3 baby books totaling $31. My mother asked for one of the stuffed animals to be wrapped in tissue paper to stay clean, and the woman who assisted her was very friendly and very accommodating to her disabled condition. However, the manager, D.Green, who checked us out at the register was reluctant to give us one more piece of tissue paper for the second stuffed animal when my mother asked for it - because it did not make the $20 minimum purchase gift wrap requirement. My mother did not ask for it to be gift wrapped. She asked for a piece of tissue paper, just so the fuzzy animal stayed clean. When the manager told my mother the purchase did not qualify for a piece of tissue paper, I spoke up and said I just bought $31 of books, does that qualify? She replied, 'no, that's on a different receipt' We left without the piece of tissue paper. I called the Store, and coincidently the Manager is who checked us out. I spoke to her because my mother was very upset and is a local resident. I do not live in the area. The manager stated she was following the policy. McCaulou's on Clayton Road just lost a local customer over a 5 cent piece of tissue paper! As a Manager myself I would never argue with a customer over a piece of tissue paper. The woman who wrapped the first gift was great, the Manager, however, needs customer service training as we were not rude or inconsiderate at any time towards her or any staff members.

I really like this store. This particular store feels bigger than some of the other ones nearby,…read morehas a larger selection, is often organized and parking hasn't been bad. I love coming in to see what I may find today. You just never know when you may find some incredible bargain. But the customer service is unfortunately lacking. The individuals at the register are often rude and lack the basics of customer service. They also got rid of their scanning systems, which makes it less convenient and harder, as you have to wait in line at the changing room to get pricing.

One of the items I was returning did not have a tag, which occasionally happens when items are shipped. She told me, in a harsh tone, that if I ever brought an item without a tag again, the return would not be accepted. I explained that the trousers had arrived that same day and were sent to me without a tag. Her response felt accusatory, as though I had done something wrong. When I mentioned that items should be sent with tags attached, she said she was not responsible and was only enforcing store policy. The situation escalated when she abruptly stopped the return, threw the items she had already processed back toward me, and loudly said, "I will not help you--go to someone else," while making dismissive gestures. I was very shaken and confused by the way I was treated, as I have never attempted to return worn items or abuse the return policy in any way. --She did not greet me when I approached, unlike the other cashiers, and appeared visibly upset. I left the store feeling shaken and had to take a moment before driving away. I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, but I was unable to get it. I hope the store can review the security footage to better understand what happened. I believe this situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and respect.

I come here once in a while. It is like a Ross or TJ Maxx…read more I came yesterday hunting for a pair of flip flops. I can no longer buy just any ole pair, I need a little support nowadays. The store has seen better days for sure. Disorganized and scattered. Summer everything was on clearance and very limited. I did manage to luck out with flip flops and found some Reef flip flops marked down to 14$. I stood in line for so long my husband walked outside so he wouldn't get frustrated. I would have left too but I really want these shoes. They have a now hiring sign and it looks like they need employees fast! Another note, the employees that I did encounter were less than friendly. The entire store kinda has stale icky energy. Maybe if your current employees liked their job you would be able to attract more employees. I will probably visit again in the future but with low expectations. Maybe management will read this and fix it. Maybe build up your team morale;)

I came here looking for a few items for the home and the home section is just so under stocks and underwhelming that I really won't come here again, looking for anything in particular. Sifting through mounds of clothes is not ideal for me either so unless I'm not looking for anything in particular, I probably won't come back. I remember coming here years ago and being able to find lots of different home items so I don't know what is going on with this location.
