My daughters and I went to Windsor in Sun Valley Mall twice. The first time, the young lady working there was very helpful, kind, and accommodating. I purchased a dress for my eldest daughter's graduation. When she got home, she felt it was too short after wear it around the house a couple times. She took off the tags because she thought she'd keep it, and she's only 14. We went back on Wednesday and boy, oh boy, did the atmosphere change! We wanted to return the $50 dress. The green-haired, overweight, woman working the cashier looked it over for about 10 minutes before she told me she couldn't return it, even though I had the receipt! Her explanation was because the tags were not on the dress. The only reason I gave this store a single star was because of the nice young lady on our first visit. Other than that, I'm out $50, on a dress that was not worth it materially, or mentally. *** Edit: I received a response from their management team. She was understanding and respectful. My Daughters went to pick out a dress for the 8th grade dance. The cashier Ashley was very rude giving my oldest daughter attitude. They were the only ones in line and Ashley was busy doing something else and finally acknowledged them, she couldn't sign In to her terminal and started slamming her keyboard, she was very sarcastic with her remarks towards my daughters and at the end she tossed the receipt at them and stuffed my daughters dress in a tiny bag, I don't care how bad of a day you had! I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! Who wouldn't be excited about finding a formal dress at an affordable cost?! I got suckered into going to an event that required me to play dress up. I figured that I would just find something in my closet and call it a day. However, a closer look into my closet revealed that I didn't have diddly squat to wear! So, off to the Sunvalley Mall I went to see what I could find. I initially tried my luck at Macy's but that didn't work out so well. I was just about to go to Ross when I walked down to the other end of the mall, and strolled passed this place. I had never noticed this store before, but the dresses on display let me know that I needed to be there. Talk about beautiful dresses at super affordable prices! I was stuck in that changing room for over an hour. Yes, your girl was trying on every damn formal dress that I could find in my size! Speaking of sizes, I was actually able to find a decent selection of dresses in a size large which is something that I've struggled with when searching at many of these small boutique stores. The only downside is that they have minimal to no X-large sizes and nothing beyond that. Not sure if this will change in the future, but for right now they seem to mainly cater to the small and medium sized. Womp womp. The store is still new but I'm hoping that they will expand their customer base with bigger sizes in the future. Aside from dresses, they also carry fun accessories like jewelry, shoes, and hand bags. I really love the setup of the store as they make everything really easy to find! Their casual and party dresses are in the front and their formal gowns and dresses are located in the back. Formal dress prices range from $40 - $120 which isn't bad at all for the quality. They also stock some of the best colored dresses here too! I saw some really nice blues, deep purples, reds, and greens out on the racks. I ended up purchasing a long dark blue gown with a deep low cut front for only $80! The dress was comfortable and I got many compliments on it! The ladies working here are super sweet! They checked in on me while I was looking for dresses and while I was in the changing room. The store closes at 9, but they stay open for their customers who are already in the store until 9:30 as a courtesy! I hate to keep store associates waiting, but I do like the concept of letting the customer have just a little bit more time to finish up their shopping. There are no returns allowed on their formal items, but who would want to return such beautiful dresses?! Overall, I'm really impressed with Windsor and I'm looking forward to future visits to their store. read more

Been here a couple of times and the place was clean and clothing is always nice. I feel like the workers are just there to get money and do not like their job at all. The store is very small and right as you walk in the workers act like they do not see you to greet you along with how whenever you are looking for someone it feels like nobody wants to help you, and if they do they have a bad attitude. I do not know if it's the workers who are the in the wrong or the management maybe working them too hard... maybe they are slim on workers? It makes me not feel like shopping here, so I do not unless I really need something from there. To be clear this is a 5 STAR RATING for ALEXIS ONLY! All the other girls who I interacted with were unfortunately VERY disappointing and not helpful at all. ALEXIS is the exception though! She is extremely customer service oriented and truly believes in going out of her way to help the customer. I actually did not physically step into this Windsor store. On the contrary, my whole experience was remote and was completed over the phone. Which more often than not you would expect a lower standard of service via the phone. I connected with Alexis one day as she so happened to pick up the phone and generously offered to help me locate the dresses I was specifically looking for for my bridesmaids. Funny, I had called the store the day before and was very disappointed by how I was assisted so I tried my luck again for the second time around. Alexis clearly asked how she can help, and explained the process of returns, purchases via the online store vs the storefront, and ALL the options possible for me to find the dresses and the multiple sizes I needed. Since they didn't have the sizes I was looking for at her store, she's helped me in locating which store had the inventory and she also helped me transfer one of the dresses to the New York location so it would be more accessible for my sister to try it on and purchase. After multiple phone calls and multiple follow ups and a few hiccups here and there, Alexis pulled through and got it all done for me. Her responsiveness, communication, transparency, urgency, kindness, and all the above was extremely impressive. Ensuring I got a wonderful and positive customer experience. Please promote Alexis and give her a raise NOW! She deserves it and is a huge reason for your customer satisfaction and retention. Thank you x100000 to Alexis she definitely saved the world for me and these bridesmaid dresses. She did so with patience, thoroughness, calmness, and a genuine desire to help and serve the customer base. For the other ladies who work there. I think you all need some additional training to become stronger at your customer service skills. On top of that they need some alternative vocabulary to use which is more professional. These girls need to be re-evaluated in their performance reviews because they clearly are just there for a paycheck and could care less to help customers. Had an awesome experience on Friday. Went in looking for a bachelorette outfit and the staff were so helpful. They asked what I was looking for and one girl went out of her way to go shop the store for me and put together a bunch of outfits I could wear. This was super helpful, as I hate to shop, and I had a great time even though I ended up not buying anything. The one thing about this store is the clothing is on the smaller side and it's hard for bigger girls to get anything there. It's hard because their clothing is so cute! (taller, slimmer, darker skin tone) needless to say I'm extremely understanding but that was not acceptable and I will never be returning to this store again. I had the worst customer service that I've ever experienced in my whole life, the employees were very young which wasn't a problem until they had attitudes and were laughing at me and the questions I asked, after I had purchased my dress she then proceeds to tell me that there is a no refund policy which is okay but she told me after I bought the dress, we then went to another employee to talk about the experience we had just had and they both started laughing. However, workers in the Fairfield location show they deserve a better manager. I asked her not once but three times for help getting a dress down and left with no help. It took me over 30 minutes to get in a dressing room and I was with a couple of my friends so they came in with me. They ended up yelling at us for having more than one person in a room at a time. I think it's outrageous that we have to waste our time waiting to try things on and then when we finally get a room, instead of saving time by letting multiple people go in a room they kick us all out of the room and we had to stop trying things on. I'm not buying anything from here again. Not to mention that you can't return anything and you can only trade it in for something else. Their policies are poor and their customer service was bad. Then I come into the store and she tells me go ahead and look around.. so I asked how much would be the exchange for. She folded it and then smelled it and said she can't accept it for how it smells. First of all, I've never even worn the dress I purchased it 4 days ago it's been in the bag in my trunk. It smelled like a brand new fucking dress that's been inside a fucking PLASTIC bag.
