While she was looking for the shoes she wanted, or thought she wanted, I started browsing the men's section. I was impressed by the size of their selection. It's larger than at a couple of other DSW locations I've visited, with a good variety of dress and athletic shoes. Although tempted, I had already spent enough on shoes this month, so I passed! My wife found a nice-looking pair of brownish summer shoes that she loved, so that was it. At checkout, the young lady behind the counter was kind enough to check a couple of different accounts under our names to find and apply some rewards cash toward our purchase.

If I was in that mood I may have searched through them, next time. I was there to look at UGG slippers $120 and I did and compared them to the less glamorous but also less expensive Bearpaw slippers $70. In the end I decided the Bearpaw were just as comfy and fancy enough for me. The bathrooms require you to find a person - fyi. If you join the club you get 15% off! If they send me a coupon I will come back to find a certain shoe or sift through the clearance racks;)

This location carried the '25 Brooks for men, but was a bit behind for the women's section and seemed to only carry the '24 and before. The new '25's/'26's have a bit of a futuristic large white heel so they're easy to spot. While the service was rather neutral as the associates were busy, the prices were comparable with what's online for both the shoes and feetures socks, so I could absolutely see myself stopping in when I need something immediately. All in all, I would absolutely come back.

Thanks to the VIP program, I was able to exchange them within the 90-day return window and work with Travis again. Travis is knowledgeable, patient, and great at explaining how each shoe moves and supports your foot. Based on his demonstration, I switched to the Brooks Glycerin Flex, and I'm glad I did. During a run, I stepped into a hole in the pavement, and I truly believe the stability of the shoe helped keep the injury from being much worse. Road Runner Sports is an excellent resource for runners and athletes because the staff considers your stride, foot strike, comfort, and activity level--not just the shoe's appearance. The prices are comparable to other retailers, but here you also receive expert guidance and the added protection of the VIP return policy. Congratulations to Travis and his future bride on their upcoming Halloween wedding! I definitely recommend this location.
