I can accept a little bit of disorganization during the holiday season, but this store is a train wreck. I walked up to a completely empty fragrance counter and asked if they could ring up a simple belt. The woman said go get in line on the other side of this partition. Then she went back to doing absolutely nothing. I watched another poor customer go to three different check stands to try to return something, only to be directed to the check stand in the men's suits department. She waited in line for 15 minutes while I shopped. When she got to the front of the line, they told her she had to go downstairs to another department to return her item. Clearly she was frustrated, so she left this check stand and walked across to the other clerk at the fragrance counter and returned her item. Clearly employees are poorly trained Shopping for men's suit jackets one finds all of the hangers mismatched with the proper sizes. Merchandise is lying on the floor in piles. The store was not especially crowded. They're getting two stars not one because once I finally got to the front of a checkout line, the woman was reasonably friendly. Shop here if you require absolutely no help with merchandise and if you're okay with poorly trained and obviously overworked employees.

Mall entrance - The photo captures the entrance to Macy's department store within a shopping mall. The store's sign is prominently displayed above the entrance, and shoppers are seen walking into the store. The mall corridor has a shiny tiled floor, and the ceiling features rectangular light panels. Holiday decorations, including red ornaments, are visible inside Macy's, indicating a festive season.

Understaffed in every department. One worker should not be alone at a register while you have long lines! Shoe department is super slow

Too expensive and the clothes are too old. And there are no employees in the store to help you.

Atlas, i.e. men's apparel, accessories, and items are front and center when you walk in the door. Athena, i.e. women's apparel, accessories, and items are to the right of the entrance. The clothing is hip and cool, and the fabrics and high quality. The jeans are lux and the tops are cozy and feel good to the touch. It's a larger space than the Atlas location in Walnut Creek, so they're able to carry a lot of styles for both men and women! Speaking of styles, their displays are set up by trend and not by vendor, so you can quickly put together a casual, trendy, or sophisticated outfit. They are the *only* place that carries the G-Star brand for BOTH men AND women outside of G-Star retail locations. Other vendors in their collection include the Canadian labels Dex and Tulle. In addition, they carry the Groceries label, created by a local from Pleasant Hill : ) Their target market is from 25 y.o. - 50 y.o., but the owner said that he hopes that younger and older clients will find their clothing accessible as well. *Note: The clock tower will be getting a makeover, as well as the doors to the store, and ultimately the entire plaza to make it more of a shopping destination, so watch for changes to come! *Tip: You can find out about their in-store wine tasting events with Do-Good Wines on their Facebook page : )

I really wanted to love this Purpose Built sweatshirt, but there are some serious design flaws that need to be addressed. First and foremost, the drawstring is dangerously long. I've had multiple close calls--almost catching it on fire or having it get caught in doors or other objects. There is no practical reason for a drawstring to be this long, and it poses a real safety hazard. Please fix this. Now for the other details: Pros: Warm and thick material: It definitely keeps you warm in colder conditions. Stylish design: It has a modern look that's easy to pair with everyday outfits. Cons: Poor stitching: After just a short time of wear, the seam on the right sleeve already came undone. Very disappointing. Sizing runs small: I bought a medium and tried it on in store, and it fit great at first. But after just one wash, it shrunk significantly and now fits more like a small. I recommend sizing up one or even two sizes, especially if you plan to machine wash it. Final Thoughts: This sweatshirt has potential, but between the hazardous drawstring and the quality control issues, it's not something I can recommend just yet. After taxes, you're looking at over a $70 sweatshirt, and for that price, the quality should be much better.

I love coming in to see what I may find today. You just never know when you may find some incredible bargain. But the customer service is unfortunately lacking. One of the items I was returning did not have a tag, which occasionally happens when items are shipped. She told me, in a harsh tone, that if I ever brought an item without a tag again, the return would not be accepted. I explained that the trousers had arrived that same day and were sent to me without a tag. Her response felt accusatory, as though I had done something wrong. When I mentioned that items should be sent with tags attached, she said she was not responsible and was only enforcing store policy. The situation escalated when she abruptly stopped the return, threw the items she had already processed back toward me, and loudly said, "I will not help you--go to someone else," while making dismissive gestures. I was very shaken and confused by the way I was treated, as I have never attempted to return worn items or abuse the return policy in any way. --She did not greet me when I approached, unlike the other cashiers, and appeared visibly upset. I left the store feeling shaken and had to take a moment before driving away. I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, but I was unable to get it. I hope the store can review the security footage to better understand what happened. I believe this situation could have been handled with much more professionalism and respect.
