Associate was friendly and offered helpful assistance (the store was empty)! Told her what I was looking for and she pointed me to a few styles. Not all actually fit the bill, but she tried. And even followed up after I tried them on!! Biggest issue is that stock has changed in the last year. They no longer carry *any* women's Cherokee (only some Cherokee Revolution in Men's). I shopped ahead on per my specs on Scrubs & Beyond website because it's hard to tell what's what in store and I get overwhelmed. So I had a list of 13 possible pants styles to try on, however, they only had *two* of them. They mostly carry their own *Beyond Scrubs* line. They do not have standard Koi, but two "Koi & Beyond" (a collab of the their own brand) & two Koi Next Gen. NO HeartSoul, Urbane, Cureology, or Barco's Unify. But they DID have Barco's Grey's Anatomy, Med Couture, & White Cross. They had a full range of sizes; including petite & tall! Also, two dressing rooms, which is important. read more

I really wanted to like this location, but the staff, by the name of, Du'Praiseja, turned me off. I ordered something that was out of stock. The store dropped the ball & it took 2 months to receive, after I had already paid in full. By that time I had found other uniforms and so I returned the pants. The staff member huffed and puffed like she was upset I was returning the item. I explained I had taken two months to receive it & by that time it was no longer needed. I came back in the store 2 weeks later to return another item and here she goes again making comments about my return. She asked me why I didn't return it when I had seen her two weeks prior. I explained to her, I thought I wanted the item, and now I don't. I really shouldn't have to explain myself. I asked if it was a problem, and she explained that she was just joking. The person working there tonight was very rude. She never greeted me or my daughter and completely ignored us. When I asked for a particular brand and and size she just looked at me and pointed to a rack and told me i can look there! As someone who spends quite a bit of money on scrubs I was very disappointed on the service and the way I was treated. I guess it's back to online shopping for my scrubs! Killer shopping experience here today with great customer service. I called to inquire about men's scrubs because they are going to make an awesome addition to the Christmas gifts for my boyfriend. It's right near the downstairs men's Macy's at Sun Valley Mall. I spoke to Lauren on the phone and she gave me an idea about prices, selection, and the store location before I arrived. She even said I might find a few items on clearance. I was there half an hour later and both Lauren and Karen totally helped me find two great sets of scrubs for my hard-working people-healer (he's an RN). Both styles were really up to date (between $30-$36 each piece). One of the sets was a really soft material on top of the cute design. I chose solid colors because he's a pretty laid-back person, but they have great patterned ones at well (mostly for women though, it seemed). Both girls were so friendly, really funny, and did a great job helping me, even though they have no idea what my bf's size or style is. (And I wasn't much help to them either!) Scrubs have evolved so much since I was in dental hygiene school a decade ago. I love all the new styles - comfy and cute!! Hopefully my boyfriend will like the choices I picked for him and fingers-crossed everything fits. These are pretty different from what he wears now, but if not, I have gift receipts and he has 60 days to return/exchange. read more

LOST A MAJOR SALE FOR BEING RUDE! I needed new scrubs, a stethoscope and some cute accessories for my program. I was prepared to spend a lot of money. I walked in and not even a glance or acknowledgment. I said "hello!" and they continue to ignore me. They were having a conversation about the customer before me. Talking trash about a return and making personal insults about the women's weight and looks. And they continued this loud conversation the entire time I was in the store. I wanted some help but not wanting to interrupt their conversation I couldn't find a break in their exchange to ask a question. I walked around for 10 minutes looking. Never one acknowledgment or even a glance. I worked retail for 5 years and if this was my establishment, a write up would be an understatement. Super unprofessional. I was not gonna give my money to a store who acts this way to customers. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. As I left I said "thank you! Have a nice day" and nothing. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'll let it be know to everyone that asks where to find scrubs that this place is garbage. I ended making a $470 Figs order and a $150 Amazon order, money I was willing to send at a small establishment. During COVID, I made it a point to shop small and to not give big corps my money, but businesses like this are the reason why more and more people shop online. My mom and I always drop by this shop to check out the scrub sales. She found some Dickies scrubs on sale that were really soft. Unfortunately, when she got home and tried them on, they were too small. We went back a few days later to exchange, and they were able to do it, simple as that. During our second trip back, I found some soft Dickies scrub bottoms to wear as well and an stethoscope name tag for school. The young cashier was very helpful and made the transaction very smooth. This was my first time here. And I'm Never. Going. Back. There was only one employee to help everyone coming in the store. I was the unfortunate one that got stuck in the store for well over 1.5 hours. Why? Well here's the story.... When the employee slid my credit card, the transaction apparently didn't go through. So the employee decides to slide it 2 more times to which the transaction on their end still didn't go through. When I checked my bank statement, it told me that the transaction went through. I called Chase to verify and Chase told me that the transaction was processed. However, since the employee didn't see the processed transaction on her end, she told me to withdraw cash since all card transactions aren't working. So I withdrew money from the BOFA ATM in the mall & came back. From there, the cashier told me that NOW even cash transactions won't work. At this point I'm so irritated... The cashier had to call different people to get the damn computer working. I had to wait over 1.5 hours in the store because the employee didn't believe me in that the transaction went through, and I wasn't able to dispute the transaction via Chase at this time (it's a weekend). Never ever going back here unless corporate cares enough to apologize to me personally for the hell experience I went through. read more

I'm very pleased with my recent trip to this Life Uniform store. I was very happy to see that they now carry more women sizes geared towards taller women. I can't recall her name right now, but the woman that helped me was amazing! She was also tall, not as tall as me, so she understood my pain in finding pants that were long enough. I used to go here all the time. It was a 3 star store to begin with. I only went there when I needed a solo item and didn't order online (online usually has the best deals and no hassles) I had a similar experience as the person "ian" below. Customer service is lacking and they're losing customers as a result. I got 2 shirts as a gift and returned them for store credit. Then like 3 weeks later went to make a purchase put in my store credit numbers from the card and store teller said sorry doesn't work. Ok.... well I have the receipt from the original return. Made 3 phone calls customer service said can't help. District manager said handle it within. And store manager said "come back tomorrow so I can verify everything and fix it" ummmm. 5 days before Christmas and I have to make an extra trip to fix YOUR mistake..... apparently it was she the MANAGER that had originally loaded the gift card wrong. So I told the store guy. .. OK well why don't I leave my receipt and card and u guys figure out this BS tomorrow bc I'm a paying customer and should b able to leave with merchandise I've paid for... to which he made a threatening stance and threatened to call security basically.... wow.... I used to go here all the time.... I have money. I could've paid cash but I wanted to use my store credit.... which I should've been able to do. I left pissed. I don't have time to be bullied by a scrub store. I'm having my sister handle the rest bc she works in retail and has more patience for dumb shit like this. I'm sorry but I feel I should at least get a hi five or a coupon for putting up with this and going back to get it fixed like I'm the person who did something wrong.... lol. I'm a nurse not a saint. Small store...but great enough selection. Located right next to Macy's on the lower level. I have shopped here a few times and every time, they had what I needed. The staff is always friendly even though I never see the same cashier twice. I needed to buy scrubs for my internship a few years ago at Stanford and they had all sorts of them from the low to the high end as well as in a variety of colors. They've got all colors for the nurses that like to have variety but alas, I'm not allowed to wear those cute patterned ones & I headed straight for the plain colored ones on the back wall. The sizes range from XS all the way up to an XXL for most scrubs. I then needed to replace my lab coat for the clinic and they actually had an extra small one that fit me just right. It was about $26 which was great and had enough pockets for all my pens, notebooks and phone without seeming heavy. The sales people don't follow you around, which is nice and there are 2 dressing rooms in the back of the store as well as a wide variety of clogs and stethoscopes as well as other little gadgets. read more

Bought myself some scrubs, you need to always try them on! I am petite and some petites were too long but after searching I found the perfect size pants. With the cutest on clearance sweater. I am not sure why the reviews are so terrible. I have been shopping here nearly 12 years and haven't had a bad experience. As of recently the staff has gotten more friendly, more helpful and super easy going. Victoria and Veronica are both excellent (I believe that's their names, the names are so similar it's hard to remember for me.) They made exchanges fast and easy when I had ordered the wrong size and tried them on at home. The male manager, (I didn't catch his name), is also pretty awesome. I was shopping alone and I am a pretty indecisive person... I was sort of stuck... and he says from across the room "Hey, you're a Vet Tech, right?" Holding up one of the most awesome scrub tops that I had found 10+ years ago and bought too big because it was so cute- IN MY SIZE. My only wish for the store is that they can try to bring in more animal scrub tops :) read more

Didn't even know this place was at the mall. They have a great selection of scrubs. I found some on sale and decided to try them on. Depending on the brand they do run on the bigger side. I'm usually a medium but a small fit perfectly. They sales lady was friendly and wasn't too pushy when asking to join the email newsletter with them. Everyone at work complemented me on my cute scrubs (super cute girly design). If I'm ever in need of another pair of scrubs I think I'll be back at this place. read more

i had previously thought this store was a pretty good place to find scrubs and such, but now i'd think twice before recommending them to a friend. beware of their return policy!!! i received a gift from my mom for my graduation and the scrubs didn't fit. when my mom found the receipt and gave it to me, i noticed it said "exchange only" after 30 days. even though it was JUST passed the 30 day mark, i was stuck with store credit i didn't want. i get that stores make policies to stick to them, but i think this store's policy needs to change. read more

Life Uniform use to be my favorite place to buy all my medical stuff I needed. Ive had nothing but positive shopping experiences before. However the past few times of visiting the store Ive had negative experiences. I was in need for new clogs and the first store of choice to start looking happened to be life uniform. I was looking for black clogs and could not find any displays where the shoes are. I noticed a pair of black clogs on display on a rack of scrub tops. I went over to the cashier and asked if she had more pairs of black clogs. She sighed and said yes its over at the where the shoe displays are. I told her I did not see any on display. She rolled her eyes and walked over to the shoe area. She pointed at a box and said yes they are right here. I thanked her and she didn't bother saying anything and walked away. I feel that there should be a display of black clogs because I'm sure no one is going to read all the shoe boxes for their colors. I found a pair of black clogs in my size and pulled the box out.. The box was completely torn apart.. I did not get a good feeling about the clogs and left. I think this will be my last time shopping here. Months ago, or maybe even last year, there was a guy who worked here. He was caucasian, kind of chunky, and very friendly. I have been shopping in this store since it was in hilltop mall, and in pinole. But as of late, the employees who work there suck! they dont even acknowledge you when you walk in the store, say hi, or ask if you need any help. One day I walked in there, and the employee ( female asian) looked at me like I had landed from mars! I'm like wow, who are these anti social people they hire here?!?! Obviously since i work in a hospital, I ecounter all types of people and attitudes, but that doesn't stop me from giving great customer service. I do acknowlege people, and make sure they're comfortable because I'm compassionate. These folks need to take some classes in customer service!! Since my job is contracted through this place of business, I have no choice but to get my scrubs here. I have been in this store at least 6 different times trying to get my order. There staff is apparently "new" and doesn't know a thing about the product or wait times for the arrival of ordered products. They have been using the "I'm new" act for the last 4 months I've been trying to get my ONE order of scrubs. Their employees are rude and consistently giving me false information. Every time I ask any of the employees a question I am responded to like I am inconveniencing them. I would NEVER voluntarily buy or order from this business. The store and their employees are a joke. This is the first time that I have ever written a yelp because I left their store never feeling more dissatisfied with a business in my entire life.
