    I thought it was a race issue, but after reading the comments, I was relieved to see that it wasn't my skin they were discriminating against, the staff here are universally dismissive. Two girls walked in ahead of me. There was an old lady greeting people as they walked in. She was cheery like it was a Christmas morning, glad to greet them. I came in and she just smiled. I stared at her until she gave me the same 'Welcome in' that she gave them.The crazy part is, the store is very diverse. There are senior citizens who work here, people of color, rotund people, tall, short, you name it. It's someone there who looks like you. And that someone will walk right on past you. This location has the best perfume selection out of all the Sephora's I've been too!! Impressive

    Came in today with a huge list from the granddaughters and daughter for holiday gifts as the big sale is on. Store was filled with awesome gifts. Sol and Fatou were so helpful helping me find everything!

    Love the Walnut Creek team, even when it's busy they find ways to help! This store can be a monster on the weekends.

    Always helpful and friendly. This store seems to be one of the bigger stores with more inventory, than the other locations in the area.

    Very rude staff, talk over you, attitude tone like a teenager, makes customers feel like they are generally an annoyance.

    I was really disappointed with my experience at this location. When I first approached the…read moreregister, the staff were friendly and welcoming. However, as soon as I entered my boyfriend's phone number and was told I wasn't a member, the tone completely changed. Instead of asking if I wanted to sign up, I was immediately asked for my email. I explained that I'm not from here and wasn't comfortable giving one. I was then asked if I had a friend's email, which also felt uncomfortable. When I declined, both cashiers looked at each other in an annoyed way, and from that moment on, the friendliness was gone. I understand that employees are encouraged to sign customers up for rewards programs -- I truly do -- but customer service should not depend on whether someone agrees to marketing. The sudden shift in attitude made me feel unwelcome and pressured, which is not how a shopping experience should feel. That said, I do want to acknowledge Jesebel, the associate by the front door. She did a great job promoting products, offering helpful suggestions, and was genuinely warm and engaging. Her customer service was excellent and made the beginning of my visit enjoyable. I love Bath & Body Works products, but this experience at checkout left a bad impression. Customers should be treated with the same respect and kindness whether they sign up for a membership or not.

I was running around like a madwoman, trying to find clothes and accessories (for my boyfriend) for a wedding on NEW YEAR'S DAY! Who does that!?!? After the fashion specialist in men's solved all my problems. She led me over to the Charlotte Tilbury station. I had never heard of them before. Lucky for me, I was introduced to Samantha Levy! Sam was wonderful! I felt like I'd known her my whole life. She introduced me to the brand, gave me some background information (the line is vegan and cruelty free), and even did my makeup! God bless her! Sam did such a phenomenal job on my eyeliner, she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Truly amazing service and talent. After seeing the magic she created on my face, I instantly fell in love with the wonder glow primer. It's magical - no I'm serious. It can be worn 3 different ways, and despite the price tag I was sold on anything Sam showed me. I also purchased one of their lipsticks, it is so creamy and I love the color. It's a nude shade that doesn't make me look dead or blah. LOL! The products smell SO good, I'm hoping the fragrances are natural (I'll have to look into that). Sam also gave me a sample of their moisturizer - which I have yet try. I have shared my samples with friends and family, they too have fallen in love immediately! I look forward to trying more products from this line, and I would highly recommend them to others.
