Kimberly nicely approached me and started helping me try on the available shades, the one shade that fit perfectly wasn't in stock and we couldn't get it online either, but she was extremely nice to get me sample, that'll probably last me a few months since I don't do my make up often, and she also advised me to look in other stores since it was on sale. After multiple complaints and constant back and forth, they gave me a $50 gift card, which doesn't even come close to covering the products I now have to buy to fill it in and try to grow it back. After walking around for about 15 mins I asked a woman for help and she very coolly told me she was busy. Ok. So it's super obvious I was being ignored. All the women who received help were white and dressed nicely. I call this phenomenon being "Pretty Womaned", lol. In a past life, I was a makeup artist and worked on a couple of film sets. None of the professional makeup artists I worked with who had been in the industry for about 30 years wore any make up. And I stopped wearing daily makeup after dealing with some significant health challenges. Personally, I choose good skin care over caking my face with too much toxic makeup. The reason I bring this all up is...be nice to all the people. Not just the white fancy ones. Or the ones caked with product. You never know who the person is that just walked through the door.
