I will say that it's also typical to wait a while here. The line can sometimes stretch to the photo counter--usually as a result of there being only one cashier to handle a throng of customers. Also, if you need an item to be unlocked or any form of assistance from the staff, you'll also be waiting for a while. Oh, and watch out for the curbs in their parking lot. Straight gruesome.

So if the store is packed and the two open lines are way down the aisles, they will not open another line. You will see other employees walking down the aisles laughing or goofing off. But they won't go open another register. There is no self serve registers and it's the only Walmart I know of that doesn't have this. Of all the places that need a self serve, it's this place. This is the last place you want to spend a lot of time in. You can tell the people who frequent this place are not of the best character. And how can you tell? Because EVERYTHING is under glass. Not just medicine. I mean if you want some socks, you have to find an employee to open the glass. They have a call button but no one ever responds to it. I have no idea why it's there because it serves no purpose. Want some underwear? Find someone to open the glass. There are only two registers open at any time, where the hell are the employees when you need the glass open? Let me rephrase that - the employees with the keys. Sometimes you can find an employee - but they never have the keys. I mean honestly, does someone run this store? Or do employee just do what they want? I mean cough drops. Under glass. Are the scumbags stealing all the cough drops to make a special type of meth? Yeah, the customers in the store have no manners because they're from Pittsburg, a town that prides itself on people who never understood basic courtesy. People block the small aisles with their carts and get mad if you want to get by. No one ever uses a divider on the check out belt (If I ever see someone use a divider in Pittsburg I'm going to reward them with a 20 spot right there, just out of shock). If you like rap music, there are four or five different areas in the parking lot where the idiots blast it so loud, I'm surprised the glass on their cars don't break. Watch the people who park in the handicapped spaces. I defy you to find one person with an actual handicapped placard. You can see the folks drive up, park in the handicapped spot and walk in find. Go to their car. Any evidence of them being handicapped? Nope. I can't stand people who do this. There are handicapped folks who need those spaces. These are also prime spots for people blasting rap music, I guess because it's close to the store and they want people inside to hear. But it's normal for this Walmart. Bad customer. Jessica was extremely professional and patient with the family that needed passport pictures she took the time to make sure the picture was perfect she was taking pictures of children for their passport that can be very challenging. Honestly Jessica's customer service is a hard 5, however my first impression was really bad based on my experience with Kathy, however I'm glad Jessica helped me with my picture. The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

They didn't tell me what shot I was getting - I had to ask. They didn't tell me about any potential side effects & when I asked they said please refer the huge pamphlet we just gave you. They gave me the shot and said ok you can go. I asked - aren't I supposed to wait - they said wait in your car and if you have a major reaction please come back inside This is the RiteAid that serves the "other side of the tracks" in Antioch. When I took my mom to Pleasant Hill they explained everything. Thankfully- so I know what to expect. Like right now I'm icing my arm (which is what they told my mom to do). But at least I have my first shot - who knows if I'll get my 2nd dose ‍. I wasn't left feeling very confident. And also, can they please clean that place - it just felt dirty there. BUT I was greeted when I came in by a staff member at the front and they asked if I needed help & directed me to the pharmacy. They are the reason there's 2 stars instead of one!

However, I emphasized that I wanted the small dainty hearts and the word "seventeen" written in small cursive script, similar to the reference image. Unfortunately, the final cake looked nothing like what I requested. The writing was thick, and not cursive at all. The small hearts I specifically asked for were completely missing. The overall design lacked the delicate, elegant look that was the main reason I chose that inspiration photo in the first place. What was especially disappointing was that while placing the order, the decorator seemed extremely confident that she understood exactly what I wanted. Because of that, my family and I felt somewhat dismissed and hesitant to continue making suggestions or clarifying details. Looking back, I wish we had pushed harder, but we trusted that our request had been understood. I understand that not every cake can be an exact replica, and I wasn't expecting perfection. However, the key design elements I specifically requested--the cursive writing and dainty hearts--were not included at all. For a custom cake order, I expected much closer attention to the details that were discussed. Overall, I was very disappointed with the final result.
