Honestly at the store you never know today I got a good and bad experience! As soon as I walked in there they were 3 people, 1 helping a customer in the register the other 2 with no customers. I approached the two with no customer and I asked if I could have a passport picture, the lady (Kathy) without even looking up said to me get in line I asked which line since there were no lines at all nor signs , she got upset as if I'm dumb and say the passport line which I asked where is that line , there was no line... the cashier (Jessica) that was with the customer was free by then and told me they had someone ahead of me nobody was there till later on, I guess they were walking around store while waiting for someone to come and take the picture because they had kids. Jessica was extremely professional and patient with the family that needed passport pictures she took the time to make sure the picture was perfect she was taking pictures of children for their passport that can be very challenging. Honestly Jessica's customer service is a hard 5, however my first impression was really bad based on my experience with Kathy, however I'm glad Jessica helped me with my picture. This review is for the pharmacy. They are just inept. Dealing with this place is just painful. They use my insurance one month and then the next month they don't. Then it's a fight to get it corrected. I call and of course you don't get anyone and you have to leave a message. Do they respond? No! No wonder places like CVS are going out of business. Poorly managed, ran, etc and then they tell you it'll be 10 minutes to get the rx they should have already filled and you're waiting 45 minutes. Great customer service is a thing of the past. I waited in line at the drive-up window 20 minutes before they closed, without warning I got to the driveup window 2 minutes after 8,00 they pulled the shades down and closed promptly. No warning nothing. Most places will let you know thst it's closing time come the next day at opening time etc. waited in line and wasted my gas. For nothing. Absolutely horrible pharmacy. They send texts out saying medication is ready and when you go in to pick nit up they say its not ready and has to be ordered. Five days later, its still not orderedand they send you to another store to get it. Today the stores were Concord or Danville. The pharmacy manager would not help with this and the 800 number for CVS did help. This location has gone so far down hill in the last few years, it needs to be closed! read more

Had wisdom teeth surgery friday at 9 am, got sent in a prescription for norco and went to pick it up at 1pm they said it wasn't ready and would be ready at 2, was not ready and 2 and went to go pick up at 6pm. Come to find out they ran out of them and were unable to fill my prescription and thought it wasn't necessary to call and inform patients. It being the weekend and 6 pm my surgeon office was closed and I was in pain for 3 days, said they were waiting on a shipment, when you aren't going to get a shipment of anything past 4 pm. To whom may it concern, I came in here as a first time & last time because this is where my medicine was sent from the hospital after being discharged, & the doctor at the hospital strongly advised that because of my illness I need too take my medicine ASAP. However, the PHARMACY personnel needs improvement or even a WHOLE NEW ROUND of new fresh, empathetic, nice, people at the pharmacy specifically TATIANA, TAMMY, COURTNEY and the lady I could not get her name but she is pregnant. They were all very rude and rouse their voice. One of the counter "ladies" even mentioned that, "my medicine is ready" to what I replied, "how, you haven't even asked my name?" Most pharmacy drive throught wait times average anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 and a half hours in line. Each car averages 10-25 minutes at the window. Don't know if it's the slow and incompetent young people they have in there that don't care for their jobs or the people in line are just that dumb. Save questions for the doctors. Quite literally the worst pharmacy I've ever been to in my life! Very poor customer service. Came in looking for specific cough medicine and checked stock prior online. Walked all over the store and they don't even have an empty spot for it so likely it's one they would keep behind the counter. Came up asking for help they said they don't have that one behind the counter, and pointed in some vague direction in the store where it might be. I tried to insist if it shows in stock you must at least have an empty spot for it. The least they could gav done is physically checked where it supposedly would be but no such luck. CVS has a new phone system that won't connect you directly with a pharmacist. First you have to leave a message and then they will call you back or text you. This is fine for a simple request, but if things are a little more complicated, it becomes a nightmare. This location has poor customer service. They closed their doors before their usual hours. I came and politely knocked on the sliding doors and pleaded to just pick up my prescriptions real quick. Two ignored me while one saw me but I knew his hands were tied because I saw the other coworkers mouthing to him to ignore me. Very poor. I would not recommend this location at all. Everything from answering the phone to drive thru hrs needs to improve. I personally am cancelling all prescriptions and moving them Rite aid tomorrow because of there horrible customer service. And I hope everyone else does as well. If you answer the phone in a place of business and put someone on hold it's only a common practice to answer afterwards and try to give that person help. This pharmacy is incredibly disorganized and severely lacks urgency in everything they do. The employees have zero compassion or patience for the patients they are supposed to be serving. Trash. The pharmacy staff is lazy, rude, and inefficient. I waited in line for 25 minutes in line even though there was literally 8 people working back there at the time. I was told my medication was "on hold" and told to go talk to a chapped-lipped, balding, dusty looking man named Mina. He was curt with me from the start of our conversation and didn't even look up from his computer to ask me what I wanted. After 5 minutes of him telling me I had to go to another CVS that is 20 minutes away, the pharmacist walked over. I didn't get her name but she was a cute lightskinned black woman. They like to hang up on people after being on hold for 20 minutes. Happened twice. They put you on hold without asking and hang up on you while you are listening to hold music. Nicole should not be in customer service. She has no patience, no tact, is borderline rude, and zero accountability. She is NOT a good brand ambassador for CVS. Rubs people the wrong way. Don't get photos here anymore if you need them the same day or even the next day. You need to place the order a few days in advance. I've placed 2 photo orders in the last month and the first time it took a few days and I had to resend them (after getting the confirmation number). If I could leave no stars I would. For years I have had issues with this place but this was the final straw. I am currently disabled and my husband went to get my RX. I had recived text stating my medications were all ready. My husband waited 20 min in the drive through all ready and 6 cars were behind him. When at the window they stated one of my medications was not there. 1st reason was its a new RX and would not full same day. Nope been taking this for a while now. 2nd was it was re shelved. Nope just got a message stating it was ready. 3d needed to call it in. Nope it's a monthly RX. We need you to come back then in 30 min to pick it up. So my husband asked for one of our child's medications. 20 min later the stated they just could not find it. So please come back in 30 min. My husband stated well you said 30 min 25 min ago now your saying another 30. The pharmacist Anya said we will not start working on it till you get out of line that's our policy. My husband stated work on it it should be ready for pick up already. Well this is our policy is you have to get out of line so we can help others. My husband asked to see a copy of this policy. They said they don't have it. Mind you 35 min has gone by. Tami the supervisor came on and stated we will not fill this till you exit the drive through and wait back in line. We don't have a copy of this policy but that's what it is. My husband said it will take me longer to wait in line then if you fill it, there are now 8 cars behind me. He said he would just wait here it was the logical thing to do. They all walked to the back and had a huddle. 10 min later came back. Then stated if he did not comply they would call the police on him. And now you wife has to come pick up this medication if she wants it in person. My husband called me and told me what was happening. My husband had our small children in the car and did not want to expose them to a police or waste APD time with a triviel matter. I was the only one in line at pharmacy inside. I asked who Tami was to the pharmacist. I asked for her since she set this rule about me having to come in person inside. They said that was her. She stated if you want to talk to me you have to come to this window. Literally 2 feet away. The staff present staring and snickering. I said there is no one behind me you can't talk to me here. They have done this in the past. No this is our policy. I said ok walked over to her window. ( I have a degenerative spine condition walking has been very difficult and embarrassing because I walk funny.) Staff was laughing at me. I am now red with anger that they are playing games on a disabled person and find the matter entertaining more so a Manger. I asked not so nicely what was going on why this was not filled why the hold up why threaten to call the cops on my husband. She rolled her eyes! Said if you want your medication you have to go back to that window to pick it up. Staff is snickering at the situation. Fine I go back to the other window a different lady is helping me. She asks me for my name date of birth. I had to repeat it several times. She is snickering. I lost it and ask are you always this smug or were you born this way. Her answer was no just to people like you. Before I could ask what kind of person I was Tami standing right there said she can't be asked questions she just rings up medications but if you have a question you can go back to the other window. I lost it. I said I am disabled you need to make an accommodation. She just stared at me. I said so...... She started rambling about her Staff and policy again. I yelled asked do you have a copy of it! Now I am yelling! Great not my best moment. The lady next to said to me keep it down I can't hear what there saying. I said to the the ladys can we get my medication what's the hold up. She walks to the fridge and grabbed it. I asked for my RX to be sent to the other CVS so I did not have to deal with them. Th lady at the front stated they all feel the same and can't wait for that. But I have to call them and ask for that to happen. They be happy to have me go else where from now as well. She had the RX on counter before paying I grabbed the medication to make sure it was the right one left the money on the counter and went to leave. She stated to me you have to sign before you leave. I said out loud you have to be freaking kidding me. I left. What's sad is they do this stuff all the time. And not the 1st time for this medication they have done this but I was able to stay a lot more level headed about it. But with my decline in health I lost my patients as well. It always ends up missing and I asked is some one taking this? No one would answer any questions. There staff is on some power trip to were they make fun of disabled people. Because of the pandemic, there are signs on the door that one must wear a mask to go into the store. The store is limiting 15 people maximum in the store. Need to wait outside until an associate let you in to the store. Cannot bring in your own bags to bag up your purchase. A man was told to leave when he brought in a small cooler bag. For some reason my bank was declining all purchases. I was on the phone with them while shopping and was constantly being followed around as if I was stealing. When I finally brought my purchases and bought them to the counter I let them know how rude they are, and what had happened with my card and why I was walking around in circles. Bottom line: DONT shop here and less you want to be made to feel like a criminal. I have plenty of money in my account and stealing make up from CVS is it worth going to jail. Where is the level of customer service these days? I recently visited their pharmacy department and was unable to retrieve my prescription. I walked in at 6:02 to pick up a prescription. The moment I walked to the counter, the pharmacist looked at me as if I had two heads, I could tell she was already annoyed. I said I was here to pick up my prescription, she said we close at 6. There were still 4 people in the pharmacy, and I asked if she could make an exception. She said, " we are already helping other people, and you will have to come back or ask the supervisor. I proceeded to ask the supervisor and immediately recognized that the " fish always rots from the head down."The days of customer engagement and actually caring for people are long gone. This is not about the Pharmacy but about the Photo department. I ordered some pictures online today approximately 9 this morning. It said it will be ready by 11:40 am. Very good. I called them at 4 pm to see if it was ready before I went there and the lady who I could barely understand put me on hold to check. I waited a couple of minutes amd she came back and I was disconnected. I called back and around the 30th ring, someone picked up the phone and hung it up. I them called again to amd chose the front store option and of course no one answers. I rarely write reviews but this is the epitome of unprofessional. Made an appointment for a flu shot arrived early, (only person there). In the next 20 minutes a couple and a single lady walked in for shots as well with no appointments. The pharmacist came out and took the couple first for their shots. I gave her my check in paperwork and left without a shot. Got home and called the store manager Chris to share my experience. He wouldn't let me speak and got rude and hung up on me. In two weeks my prescriptions are due for a refill and will be transferred to Rite-Aid. I tried to move my prescriptions to this pharmacy and I'm still not sure why this happened but everything went south. Most of my meds are prescribed through Workers Comp and I was transferring everything from Costco due to the parking lot and how crazy it can get. Plus, my chronic pain doctor prescribed acetaminophen, one pill three times daily. Costco couldn't do this. While trying to get CVS on the same page, printing out my list of meds, who's responsible for what etc. the acetaminophen came up and then they wanted my last employer's info. It's been over ten years and they are no longer in business, I told them this. It didn't matter, they insisted on wanting this information which baffled me due to they haven't been involved ever since workers comp agreed on accepting my claim. I wasn't getting anywhere and they put someone else on the line who was a matter of fact, refusing to hear what I had to say. I asked why this was important to them for acetaminophen. They just ignored my questions and stated I'd only receive service if I looked up this info. I finally lost my cool and told him to F*** Off! I called the company who's the middle people, between the pharmacies and the insurance, who gives the final nod on approval of payment and they called CVS who told them I was not welcome in their store. After I explained my side of this situation, the gal I spoke to explained that they didn't have my last employers info anymore as well. I've never had to give this info to any of the pharmacies I've gone through before so, the demanding of this info from CVS was not only unusual but unnecessary as well. read more
