This Walgreens is about a medium sized store. It has a Photo Dept, Pharmacy, and Drive-Thru Pharmacy. It's a clean, well stocked store. I found a big bag of cough drops for $7.99. But at 5pm, it was a bit short staffed with one cashier, and one person in the Photo Dept. The line got pretty long, and the photo clerk had to come help by opening the 2nd cash register. I remember when we used to compound in the stores - the very reason you see the mortar and pestle on or near the sign for the store. Pharmacists prepare ingredients or substances by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder in the laboratory and pharmacy. The mortar is characteristically a bowl, typically made of hard wood, metal, ceramic, or hard stone such as granite. The pestle is a blunt, club-shaped object. The substance to be ground, which may be wet or dry, is placed in the mortar where the pestle is pounded, pressed, and rotated into the substance until the desired texture is achieved. I have been using a mortar and pestle for decades grinding spices for our homemade balsamic vinaigrette. If you need custom pharmaceuticals by prescription consider Central Rx.

I have not ever used Central Rx Pharmacy but called one afternoon out of desperation. Not realizing they were closed on weekends, I found a very helpful person who said if they didn't carry that specific medication, in the dose we needed, they would order it for me. But I had to call back on Monday to talk to the manager. This was not an option from any of the big box stores I visited earlier. Of course, I thanked them and said I would call the following Monday. Once I delivered the written prescription, they said they would call as soon as it came in. Not only did they have the medication ready for pick up the following day, but they made me aware they could prepare a compounded version that may be easier for our animals to consume. I get so frustrated with my "usual" pharmacy for so many reasons, but now I know I have options! On a side note, the day I visited, it was very warm, and an older woman asked for a drink of water. The store didn't have a public fountain, but one of the employees gave her a bottle of water she brought in for herself. I appreciated the selflessness of what she did. So if you're unhappy or just plain fed up with the less than stellar service and long lines, give Central Rx Pharmacy a shot. You may be glad you did.

I jump started my car, went to auto zone to get it tested. It was a dead/bad battery with 0% charge. I recalled getting the battery from Walmart at that point. So i called them to see what my options were since it was 15 months since I bought the battery and I didn't have the original al receipt. After several failed attempts at getting through to someone, I finally got connected to someone. Jeffrey receptionist who answered stated to come get the battery tested and scanned to see if it's covered under warranty. That he needs a manager and they just left, and to bring it in. He did state if it is bad, and under warranty, they can replace free of charge, however, without an appointment, there is no estimated time of service being completed. Which was fine. I drove to Walmart. There was someone standing with an iPad at the entrance. I approached him and briefly told him that I called and spoke with someone to get a battery test and replacement. I worked where he stayed and I sat for 5 minutes with my 6 year old in the car. Nobody came or acknowledged me. I had to leave the car running to get somebody (I could not turn off my car because the battery would not hold a charge and would die) so I left my car on and unattended to find someone. No one was at the front desk inside, so I walk back outside. And I am finally able to locate a few people standing outside. I tell them my situation. The man I spoke with (Edwin C.) at the onset stated the person I spoke with on the phone is "just the receptionist and doesn't know", and they can't take walk ins. He further continued and said, they need a manager for all warranty replacements and they left for the day. I was standing there at a loss. And I said if you can test the battery and I'll take the battery in which case he said "and you'll install it yourself" I said, yes, I have to do what I need to do. They finally helped me at the end of all of this. It was a terrible experience beyond any experience I had before. I followed instructions to get a replacement battery which was a faulty part to begin with - and they made it seem like I was the one who did something wrong or was at fault. I was not greeted with any empathy or understanding of my situation. No apology for the inconvenience I was only treated coldly after all of this. This was a dire and emergency situation, which is why I came without an appointment and at the instruction of the receptionist I spoke with. I sat in front of autozone for almost an hour trying to get connected with someone from Walmart to get direction on how I can proceed, only to find that when I got to Walmart, i was met with attitude and disdain. Not to mention, once the manager, Ashley, was tracked down to approve the replacement of the battery, there was no acknowledgment either and no words exchanged. I am glad I was able to get the service done. But this is the last time I will ever deal with just horrific customer service.

I was really taken aback by my experience with a checkout associate today. I had my daughter with…read moreme and placed about 12 items on the register, along with my reusable Target bag. When I reached the front, I wasn't greeted at all. While I understand that everyone can have an off day, it's still something I notice. The associate moved my bag to the side and scanned all of my items but didn't place anything into the bag, which I found odd. I looked around and saw other cashiers bagging items as they scanned them for their customers. When she finished, she handed me my receipt and left all of my items sitting there, even though everything easily fit into one bag. I asked if bagging items was no longer part of the process. She responded that they do bag items but said she "has a line," and immediately began ringing up the next customer while bagging their items. I pointed out that bagging is part of the job, but she ignored me. When I asked if she heard me, she said she could bag them, but by then I chose to bag my items myself. It didn't make sense that she used having a line as a reason, especially since bagging items would have kept things moving efficiently. What was more frustrating was that she chose not to bag my items but did so for the very next customer. That felt dismissive and disrespectful. I've shopped at this Target for years and have never had an experience like this. The associate's name was Adrianna. I also spoke with a manager, who mentioned that some customers prefer to bag their own items. However, that explanation doesn't apply when the associate doesn't even ask. The manager also didn't seem particularly apologetic, which is why I'm writing this review. I hope this situation is addressed so other customers don't have a similar experience.
