For such a teeny store, this store has the best employees and manager I have seen in a retail store. The manager was not only extremely helpful, but the employees were as well! There was not one person who walked into that store yesterday that did not leave happy and helped! Awesome, knowledgeable employees, ready to help with anything they are able to. Because of the manager herself I will be back to this location. First time I've left a retail establishment actually feeling helped and with a smile on my face. Great job guys, keep up the awesome work! read more

The Vitamin Shoppe - A pic I got to take with the amazing manager :) - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Antioch, California

Love this place for their $1 drink weekends. Looks like they're under new management the last time I went in l, which is great cause the store looks alot better now. read more

No idea when the 50% off is and store staff not too sure either which means the 50% off is rare than common. When everyone costs so mi h taking g time to go to the store there should be a sale most of the time and clear common knowledge when that is or I will look for alternatives. read more

Such a ripoff. I was promised 50% off items lowest in price, I ended up offered no discounts on those. I'm regular high paying customer, yet the customer service attitude was so impudent. #consistency #attitude 12/10/2024 8:30 pm. read more

Store very clean and organized and the staff are welcoming and pleased to help you. Vitamin Shoppe has a great selection and everything is pretty much always in stock. read more

Every time I come to this store I'm always greeted right away. The staff is always helpful and friendly.

I've been to this location many times to buy my supplements and protein powder and everyone is helpful for the most part. They always know where to show me where a certain product is at. It would be nice if the employees provide assistance or feed back on a product but that just my personal preference. Never encountered bad experience here. read more

Well organized store, with awesome staff, consistently helpful & friendly! Wide selection and nice variety of products, always a great shopping experience. read more

We purchased protein powder and pre-workout yesterday at the Dublin location. Called the store on lone tree to help with 20% off coupon that couldn't be applied. Manager at the store called us liars and refused to help us. He also stated that we could not return a different store's purchase at their location. WRONG!!! AGAINST WHAT THE WEBSITE SAYS! Went to the store after calling corporate and the store still refused to complete the adjustment for us and when we asked them to return and repurchase we were told the coupon would not apply to our purchase. I was able to apply the coupon online with no issue so I returned the product in store and repurchased online and grabbed it right back from the cashier. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES!!! BE NICE to your clients! read more

The most frustrating Vitamin Shoppe branch! The hours posted has been wrong for a long time. I know it was tough before with the lockdowns but it's almost over now and they're still not fixed. Why even close so early? Next time I won't even bother coming here and head straight to GNC. Fix your hours posted especially on Google! read more

EXCELLENT customer service. I was looking for digestion support. The nice guy helped me with great info about products. I will definitely be back. read more

Those dudes are super cool. Mandu, JP, and Erick. The store looks better than ever before. I used to shop here but I don't remember why I left. Now I will be a frequent shopper Lord willing. This place looks great now and has way better stock than ever before!!! JOCKO, REDCON1, GHOST, NATURES WAY, AMAZING GRASS, SOLARAY AND MANY MORE!!! THEYRE SO NICE TO ME. Better store means better mood associates! In times past shopping there it wasn't like that. Maybe that's why I stopped shopping there lol read more

For starters the cashier couldn't scan my case of drinks. He said I was paying for each one individually even though it was a case and no discount for buying the case. Which is fine, I asked if I can return the rest of the bottle if I didn't like it he said no. So I asked to return it incase I didn't like the flavor. He assumed I was paying with card and was grunting because he had to redo the transaction because I had cash. He could of asked first. I even bought a separate can to try out so I didn't have to return the case of drinks so he didn't have to do the return and still acted like a baby because he had to ring me up and grunted again because I was paying cash and not card. read more

The owner and assistant manager always take care of me here since I shop here so often. I always have a great experience they always recommend me great products when I want to change up my usual brands that I take for the gym. Plus the store always well stocked and has variety to choose from. They have me as a loyal customer and they treat me like it as well. read more

The Vitamin Shoppe - Ryse supplements - Vitamins & Supplements Near Me - Antioch, California

Vitamins are for suckers. Eat right and you don't need them. Just makes for expensive urine most of the time anyway. Whether or you not you belive that, the Vitamin Shoppe has A LOT of cool stuff. I happen to go there my one and only time to get some Probiotics my doctor recommended I take for a while. When I stepped inside the door, I realized they actually have a lot of products grouped and labeled for many kinds of needs. They supplements for just about everything! They are well organized and easy to find. They do ask you if you need help finding anything too. Only thing I'd change is I'd make it a bit brighter inside. I wasn't scared or anything though! It's just a little dark near the back of the store. I'm a bit of a knuckle-dragger dude, so for me personally, I'd say this place has what you need if you're living a very atheletic life style or you have a medical need. Otherwise, eat right and call it good. Just one reviewers opinion. read more

I went to the Vitamin shoppe on a Friday after, and I swear they had the nicest lady there. Her name is Michelle, she was very helpful and amazing customer service. I would definitely come back any day, amazing employee Michelle and very clean establishment. read more

The 1 star rating is purely on the interaction with the cashier. I made sure to save the receipt so I could come back with my review. I basically knew what I was getting, didn't ask questions, went to pay for the item and the young lady who rang me up was awful. I've been coming there for years even though prices are high, I feel like I pay for what I get. Great products, clean organized store, and I'm in and out. I do try to support local stores in my area but sheesh I could've easily gotten the particular item from Amazon without the coldness of the cashier. Customer service is hard, I get it. I wasn't upset with not being greeted, or asked if I found everything or even not getting a "thank you have a good day". Cashier was just cold and colder when I asked about the free protein sample packets set in a bowl for trial. Per my receipt; date 6/23/18 time 1:36 pm Assoc # 053817 read more

I must admit. I resisted this place for the longest time. Why? So many things... "This place is a mock GNC who think they're way better." "I don't need supplements. Supplements are nuts anyways. They're only for dudes." "All this crap that dudes waste their money on to look bigger. Ridiculous." Well, I've been coming in here a few times a month against my will thanks to Lovie who gets his sugar free Steaz, a natural energy drink, various protein powders, creatine powder, amino acid powder, and what-have-you from here. Then lo and behold, I found myself coming here on my own last week. Yes. After a grueling boot camp workout last week, I was left feeling crazy sore. It was to a point where I couldn't walk straight! Afraid of skipping a day or two of training, I turned to an alternative. Miss I-Don't-Need-Supplements came in here to get a small bottle of L-glutamine, an amino acid which is said to repair muscles faster and speed muscle recovery. To my surprise, it worked wonders and I was back to my normal self within the next day or two. I was also able to get my Burt's Bees orange face cleanser, which is pretty hard to find. They actually have a great selection of natural beauty products here. I'll be coming back more often with Lovie or not. I'm sure he'll appreciate me patronizing this place especially since I use his rewards membership :-) read more

I have some mixed feelings on this place. The PROS: it's clean, and they have a ton of things you can't find elsewhere. I love how they have organics, natural items and aromatherapy. I usually purchase my BCAA's, protein, probiotics and some other things as I'm a gym rat lol. This place is A LOT cheaper than max muscle and GNC and like I said... They have so many cool items here... The CONS: my main issue is the little Asian girl who is supposedly the manager... Very rude to me! I asked if she had any samples of pre workout supplements that I could have and her reply with attitude was... "Yah... But I can't give you any" LOL then you might as well lie to me and say you don't have any! So then I had to go back in the store because she forgot to ring up my coQ10... And then I asked the guy the same question and he very politely said yes and gave me 2 samples! Other than that I wish the employees would have more knowledge about their products and maybe just ask if I needed any help... I will keep going here because I love the products, variety and prices! read more

I just moved to the area and this Vitamin Shoppe is the closest one to my house. Usually when I walk in to a VS I'm usually greeted, and helped... This was not the case today. There was a man named Rick, and another employee who was helping a customer as I walked in. Rick did not even look at me when I walked in. I grabbed what I needed but I had a question about testosterone boosters and taking them with the other supplement that I was purchasing. After the employee on the floor was done helping the customer he was assisting, I asked him if he could help me. He said he didn't know anything about testosterone boosters and that Rick could maybe help me. He asked Rick if he was busy could help me and he said, Yes, he was busy...he looked away and I said, "I have a question about T Boosters."He ignored me for a brief moment and then looked at us and said, Ok, what do you wan?"...Disregarding the fact that I, as a customer and had an important question. He acted as if me and the employee I asked was disrupting him. Rick, looks at me and says rudely, " I don't know anything about testosterone boosters," and brushes me off. I was so pissed off at that point the way I was treated, I just told him you know what never mind I'll look it up on the Internet. I almost walked out but I needed these products. I had to call a friend of mine to help me who used to work at another store. I used to go to GNC because they were not knowledgeable about their products unless they were promoting them. I started shopping at vitamin shop because the employees would help me considerably and if they didn't have the answers they would help me find them either online or whatsoever. This was the first time I and location I had ever been disregarded as a customer and treated disrespectfully. Then he had the audacity to ask me when I needed to get rang up, " did you find everything OK?" I never bit my tongue so hard in my life... I just wanted to get out of there. I really suggest you get employees working here that know the products that they are selling or are willing to help. read more

Upon a recent visit, there were no customers in the store, with two staff members working. No greeting, no inquiring if assistance was needed, not even looking up from their tasks. As I well know where the item(s) were, obtained them & upon placing them on the counter was informed I am to scan them, which I did. I did inquire with the staff member if I had coupons on my account, I did not, & thanked the staff member for checking. I do appreciate the social distancing & scanning info.. However, the lack of customer service @ various Vitamin Shoppes has increased. The good note is that I appreciate the products they offer, I know exactly where they are located & their prices are reasonable. read more

My go-to for all my bodybuilding supplements unless Costco has it cheaper. Vitamin Shoppe has most of everything for your bodybuilding needs or just vitamins and more. Cheaper than GNC or other vitamin stores. Employees are very friendly and plenty of them if you have any questions. I think his name is Cruz(spelling), very helpful employee. My whole family go here for all our supplements and Cruz has helped every single one. Tip: get a rewards card, it will benefit you. On the end of the year they will give you a gift card based on how much you have purchased. The most I have received is $50. read more

Lydia is always super friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and prices are clearly displayed. Sometimes a little more expensive than other places, but if you strike when the time is right you can get some really good deals and stock up on things you use all the time. read more

This place used to be good when the girl with the tattoos was the manger but I think she no longer works there. Walked in a few days ago with my wife.. I was looking for a new preworkout so I asked the older lady (manager) that was standing at the register, If they have a coupon where it takes 20% off any purchase of 30 or more. She asked me if I had the coupon with me I said no but I remember the code. She said sorry I can't do that because it will take my system 1 hour to process the discount.. wait what ? Lmao.. no it does not but she kept telling me that she can't do it and looked at me like I was stupid. So I called the pleasant hill store and asked if I could come in and get my discount as they said yes. Walked in got the product, guy typed in the code at the register and it took 10 seconds lol.. I used to like this place in Antioch but the people have changed and customer service has been inferior. I don't know who put the old white lady in charge, lack of product knowledge and horrible customer service skills. Sometimes there is a young African American girl working or another girl named Monica I believe they are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable but I won't be going back if the old lady is there. read more

I would give this place 5 stars but almost every associate here is not friendly and is completely lacking in customer service. When approached they are very unenthusiastic and give you the impression that you are bothering them by making them do their job. I went in was helped by Amber and I feel she was the worst associate I ever had to deal with in a vitamin shoppe. She was not engaged at all and seemed like she hated her job. People need to be thankful that they can work. This place needs a customer service overhaul. But other than that, the selection is great and the prices are fair. read more

I joined the P2P 20 lbs challenge back in May. I was then in search of a list of vitamins, cleansers, etc. When setting foot into the store - I began to become overwhelmed. Having no idea where to start - A wonderful young lady welcomed me and asked my purpose for shopping. I then handed her a list and we began on a mission. Miss was beyond knowledgeable, attentive, and genuine. She kept conscious of the budget I had stated prior, recommended and compared products with knowledge and self experience. It was my first day of changing my life for a new, better, healthy ME - An with her expertise and kindness, started me off on the right foot. Overall the Brentwood location has a wide variety of products at great prices, an best of all an amazing staff. read more

Manager here is VERY unprofessional upon many occasions she has been rude and cold. Angel i think her name is....Employees seem to constantly be changing in and out. Only two young ladies Lyndia and something with an R are constant. Other customers have said the same thing from my gym. So sad I used to love this place! Hope corporate can get a manager that actually likes their job and employees. Feel bad for the young ladies under her. read more

So i went in to ask what kind of pre work out sup i should try. previously i used jack3d and was looking for something new. the woman that was working told me that those kinds of things were more for men and she has nothing for me. not only was she not helpful but she down right refused to help me any farther and focused on the male customers. i returned the next day and found two very helpful male employees who were very nice and suggested 1.m.r which i love. i would say if you're a woman, google your questions and have an idea of what you need before going in. read more

First visited this store a couple of years ago. The product knowledge and suggestions that Lydia had were life changing for my son helping him lose weight and get healthier. Sad to say that level of customer service and expertise is no longer there. They couldn't even ring me out unless I paid cash the last time I was there. read more

Good selection of protein and other homeopathic items, customer service is hit or miss, great if you need something right away.

I've been shopping at this location for many years. I have always preferred it to any of the GNC stores. But the last couple of visits have been disappointing and tonight is probably going to cause me to look elsewhere. I went in at 7pm and the place was empty. The gentleman working was bringing items out of the back and never showed any interest in helping me. I finally approached him and let him know I had some questions. He didn't have any knowledge of any of the products I was inquiring about and still had that lack of interest attitude. I'll check around and see if I can find another business to purchase my workout supplements from. read more

Return policy is very poor here. I'm not happy with the way they treated me while trying to request a return or at least an exchange for a product that wasn't satisfactory. I will not buy from this place again. I will only purchase online from other retailers from now on especially since the prices are cheaper at other stores and less of a hassle. Way to go Vitamin Shoppe, you just lost a customer for life! read more

Sure, they have a good selection, but think twice before shopping here. What they fail to tell you is, once you buy a product, if opened, it's yours! It doesn't matter if their sales rep recommend the product, if it made you sick to your stomach, or it you try to return it within hours after buying it. Nope, none of that matters. Their guarantee is not really one at all. Horrible customer service! I will never shop there again. read more
