So disappointed in this pharmacy.. my dr calls in my prescription 2 weeks ahead of time to make sure I don't miss a dose ... day of pick up they say my meds are on back order ! I have been here two seperate times and have been pleased with great customer service. Beautiful store inside and out, lots of parking and good location. The last time I went, 3/1/11, I had LOTS of coupons and the cashier, Eric was very patient while scanning. One of the coupons was giving him a hard time but he just entered it in without huffing and puffing like so do. He actually held a very pleasant conversation with me during the whole transaction which left me with a feeling that I would be doing much more shopping here. Thanks Eric!! read more

Took forever to get a hold of somebody on the line, plus they refill your medicine in such a longtime now their service is horrible. Drive thru pick up we waited like more than 30 mins to an hour just to pick up prescription. They need to improve their services. So sad and bad. read more

I went to this location for a fan, I bought an ARCTIC AIR, took it home and realized it must have been previously returned before my purchase because the power cord and instructions were missing. I took it back rite away and they refused to return it or let me exchange it for a regular fan since they didnt have any more ARCTIC AIR, so now I'm out the $$ I paid and have a useless product. I've never been a fan but didn't have a choice but to use them this evening. Son has an ear infection so urgent care called in his prescription. Drive through only...fine...got in line of about 10 cars at 815pm (left urgent care at 8)knowing pharmacy closes at 9...fine, saw cars continuing to line up behind me. I was watching the clock figuring they would cut off the cars by 845...nope...9pm hit and they slammed down the pick up window with one car ahead of me. Come on, that's ridiculous...if you know u can't service the amount of customers piling up in the drive through in order to close on time then put cones out or a sign. Worst pharmacy ever! This place is such a mess of differant employees in and out, revolving door. The latest pharmacist they have is a very arrogant lil man that my husband and I have both witnessed be so mean to the elderly in there, unbelivable! He treats customers horrible! We have since pulled all of our prescriptions from here and went elsewhere and have filed a formal complaint against the small man pharmacist, we will never return again after 10 years of sending all our RX there! The wait times are like no other, 20-30 min just to get someone on the phone to help you and 3hrs plus for a RX refill is just not acceptable considering all the other pharmacies around that can fill my order! We even reported the small man pharmacist to our Dr as well which he agreed his behavior and attitude is unexapatable! I received a text shortly before 7pm letting me know that a prescription I submitted around 11am was ready for pickup. I arrived a few minutes after 7 pm to pick up my MUCH needed meds and was met at the door by a woman telling me the store was now closed. I explained I was contacted by the pharmacy to pickup my medication at 7pm. She said "sorry" but the pharmacists just left. So I was contacted to pick up my medication at 7 by the store, which was closed! Was this a joke? Or just a cruel prank? Without saying, I really needed my medication which was prescribed to help with my flare up of COPD. If you have alternative places to have prescriptions filled use them. When I pickup my medication tomorrow it will be the last time I step into a CVS store. As a side note, the woman manning the door could care less about my difficulty breathing. read more

I like this place, regardless of what others Yelpers are saying. Most of the time when I walk in, I get greeted right away. The store is pretty small so the aisles are filled with products. I mainly come here for make up and having the cvs beauty extra care card is the greatest! I love getting the $5 bucks coupons & all the other 30% or 25% off coupons as well... Damn,I know it's pandemic and all but this place sucks. I waited a while and was told oh we don't have the brand name. Call your doc to see if she's ok with generic med. I called the docs office. My son and hubby are in the car. I freaking Waited for more than 15mins and was told I will be called when the RX is ready. I wasn't called and basically had to ask if the damn medicine is ready. You would think everything should be ok after waiting but no. They dont have a damn spacer for an inhaler. Wtf? Oh yeah so to kill time I might as well get a damn flu shot,guess what? This is one of my favorite pharmacies to go to and as I make quite a few trips to the pharmacy due to having a mother who is disabled, this is in a convenient location. Though not every employee here may be the friendliest, the people working at the pharmacy are great! They're always friendly to my mom and are quite helpful with answering any questions we've had. The store manager is also awesome! He's always super friendly and willing to help anyone at the drop of a hat. It's nice to see him going the extra mile to make the customers happy as I find you don't see that very often. My one warning would to be wary of the area if you're unfamiliar with Antioch. I was in there one morning and a man standing behind me had a basket full of items while waiting on line. When he had the chance, he bolted out the door, taking all of the items with him. I asked the cashier if that happens often, she said "you'd be surprised. It can get pretty scary here at night." Other than that, thank you Antioch CVS for your kind service! read more

Stopped in CVS for a quick snack in my uniform in backpack cashier lady named KAT Decides to yell at me leave your backpack at the front instead of greeting me good morning like a normal human being I tell her my company vehicle is outside and for safety reasons I cannot leave my backpack at the front and proceed to look for my snack she then yells over the radio security security please scan the floor security security please scan the floor and every aisle that I went on another message over the intercom alerted the security to check the section that I was in as I proceeded to finding my snack and head to the register she then did not acknowledge me until I walked up really closely to the checkstand with the light on it she rang me up and I decided not to get one of the items so I told her no thank you I'll pass on this item because it has too much sugar she then picked up the candy bar squeezed it observed it as if I did something to it and then continued I felt threatened I felt stereotyped and I felt targeted and not wanted at this store KAT was not nice and as a customer I will not be returning if I wasn't really hungry I probably would've walked out.... read more

It's so hard to find a good pharmacy and yet good pharmacy staff, but when is the actual manager mocking the doctor's office or patient it is out of line. TAMMY the manager pharmacist laughing because the questions was asked to be repeated to confirm she started laughing and when requested to speak with someone higher she stated NO only me and kept laughing. I don't know how or why CVS corporate doesn't address the issue even if you make a complaint to their corporation. Ive been a long time CVS pharmacy customer but ever since their other Antioch locations have been closed, this one remaining CVS pharmacy has become very problematic. Prescriptions Not ready when they or their system says they will, or the system tells you its in process and when it be ready-- when you show up they dont have any prescription for you and have to start from scratch. I like the staff for the most part but I think they are severely under-staffed. This is no exaggeration but right now Ive been on-hold for the pharmacy for 90 minutes! I have the speakerphone on in the event someone ever answers while I'm just puttering around here at home. I haven't disconnected the phone call just so I can see how long this will go! I'm only giving it 4 stars based off the Pharmacy. They're so professional and helpful. My first encounter with the pharmacy section was that I had a really sore throat and nothing was helping me. I went to the free consultation counter and a pharmacist came to my aide right away and directed me to some popular things people use to soothe sore throats. She was very understanding and sympathetic and I was so moved by her kindness and helpfulness! What she recommended didn't work because my sore throat was more severe than usual (but she wouldn't have known that), but she was still professional an did the best she could! The second encounter is when I was calling around to different pharmacies in the area to get estimates for a prescription antibiotic I needed to be filled. CVS was the best price, almost $8 less than the other pharmacy I called (Walgreens). I truly appreciated that. Also, they were having a vitamin sale. And at the particular time I needed some B12 and Vitamin C. Great price. It was buy one, get one free CVS brand vitamins! You better believe I hopped on that deal! On another note, they also have some nail colors that other stores don't' have, which is convenient for me. CVS is a hit or miss basically, but it's been doing well for me as of late. In the past, it was terrible, and maybe it still is, but I've found my niche for CVS: medicinal help and nail products. :) read more

Let's just start by saying I was looking for vapor rub and saw 3 girls sitting next to each other stocking. I didn't want to bother them and mind you they knew I was looking thru the isle over and over again, not one of them ask if I needed help. So when I finally just gave up looking I ask them they all stared at me like I was wrong to ask them to do there damn job! One of the girl respond but the other two just looked irritated. The vapor rub ended up in the area they were stocking! I was really pissed off with their "customer service"! Walking towards the register I see another girl stocking while on her cellphone ! The thing i find disturbing is they are doing covid 19 testing in same line they have patients picking up there rx. Not sure how that process is even legal? Your store sold us expired baby medication. The cash registers ask that cashiers check the expiration date when purchasing baby items and the cashier obviously did not. Not only that when my husband went back to get a new box of it, all of the same product was expired. When he informed the manager at the time, he placed the box back on the shelf and shrugged. This is dangerous and could lead to an infant including my own if I had not checked the date to become very sick or worse. I am so disappointed with the store and the manager's handling of the product . I will not only not be shoppping here myself anymore but I will be informing other moms who I know use your store to possibly choose a different store such as the nearby target or rite aid. read more

This place is terrible. I went there for the simple purpose of picking up some antacids. The shelf and the entire section where they were located was a disaster. Nothing was in it's proper place, everything was in totally random spots on the shelf. It was almost impossible to find anything, and then once found, almost impossible to find out how much it cost. apparently they close for lunch during the weekday. went there for antibiotics for my 1 year old who has a horrible ear infection and it was urgent. checked online said they are open, drive all the way across town with my screaming child to find the gates down and the pharmacy closed up at 130. not even a specification on the outside of when they came back from "lunch" had to ask a pharmacy tech through the gate when they would be open. saw multiple staff inside still working. that's fine if they need to take a lunch but that needs to be indicated online that they are closed. I'm assuming they don't do that cus they never normally close for lunch. time is a valuable thing for everyone so maybe find a way to not waste the patients time and have better communication and a little bit of curtisy. read more

I'll state right up front that I'm a loyal Rite Aid customer (not to mention it's a whole block closer). So even though this place has been here for a while, today was the first time I've been. I actually first went to Rite Aid, and when they didn't have 1 of the 2 things I wanted, I decided to check CVS. Given the massive size of the building from the outside (it looms in the flat Antioch skyline like a corporate monster), I was expecting it to be a lot bigger on the inside. But it didn't seem noticeably larger than Rite Aid. The store looked relatively new (which is should because it IS) and was organized and clean. I didn't explore too much because there were only 2 things I was looking for. What I did notice: Pro: Each section of the medicine aisle is labeled with large signs so you could more easily find what you're looking for. Cold remedy, allergy, etc. There were a few aisles that had this labeling and I thought that was a great idea. Cons: 1) Their vitamin aisle is organized by brand rather than by type. I was looking for probiotics so I had to go down the entire wall to see all they had. It would be a lot simpler if they organized it by type and that way all you'd have to do is look at one small section and you'd immediately see what was available. The selection of probiotics, from what I could see, was subpar compared to Rite Aid. 2) Their baby wipes selection sucked. All they offered were bulk packs (I only wanted 1 pack) and not a very big variety either. Rite Aid offers both single packs as well as larger packs and their selection of both is much wider. I ended up not buying anything and just went back to Rite Aid to get the single pack of baby wipes in the brand I wanted. You might be swayed by the visual splendor of the CVS structure, but when it comes down to it, I think the modest little Rite Aid has more substance. Plus you can't beat their ice cream! Aside: did we really need a new CVS within half a mile of the old CVS (formerly Longs)? Who do they think they are--Starbucks? read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I rarely complain, so if my lazy a** takes the time to contact Yelp AND CVS corporate, rest assured the service was the equivalent of dog sh**. Vai works in the pharmacy and his "I'd rather be surfing and pretending I'm helping global warming" attitude, along with the pharmacist's demeanor of "**ck you peasants! You'll get your medicine after the queen has had her a** licked" attitude is why I'm even debating letting whoever sits on their board know they tell customers not to come back when you question them. CVS board needs to know about the pharmacy "royalty" at the Lone Tree Way store in Antioch California that dictates how much annual revenue CVS can receive by them determining who can spend money there or not. They are rude, and unprofessional and I would suggest going to a different pharmacy. read more

don't know if the decision to close the walk-in services for the pharmacy was made by their corporate office or just by the local manager for the store but just having the drive through as the only means to get your medicine by this store is bad for business. having to wait in line for over an hour to get your much needed medicine is very bad. I went to the store twice to see if I can pick up my medicine and had to wait for over an hour and it only move 3 cars toward the pick up window with the rest of the 12 or more vehicles and I finally had to give up because I have other things that I need to do for the day. Also not able to have the choice to have your medication delivered is also really bad . I love this pharmacy, the people that work their are kind and efficient. You can use your app to have your prescriptions refilled and they text you when they are ready. They are always filled fast and ahead of time. I will never go to another pharmacy except CVS. Went in for candy and smokes but for some reason CVS has decided to stop selling tobacco. At the same time my brother in law was going to grab some pomade and luckily opened the container to show me only to find that someone had already been using it, not cool. Horrible service at the pharmacy!! I've been on a strict medication regimen for many years now and I've been using this CVS for all of my scripts! Same story every time I call ahead or go there right when they open, my refills are never ready when I've requested them to be available! It's usually hours before they are ready! Even if I'm the first customer there at start of business , the pharmacist is always overwhelmed and will not refill my scripts in a half hour or so while I wait! It's always afternoon if they are even ready by then! They hold it against you if you get your scripts the day they can be refilled which is usually 3 days before I run out with my current insurance! Really really rude and unprofessional staff and pharmacists! Never willing to go the extra mile for anybody! I'm in healthcare myself and if I acted the way they do trust me, I wouldn't have a job right now! Ridiculous! They need to educate themselves on customer service even when it's busy and they are feeling overwhelmed! That's just the way of modern medicine! It's not about punishing the patients who request refills of their scripts a few days early! I've been going there for years and same old story each time! Understaffed and poorly managed! Patients on meds need their refills when they request them,not whenever you get around to filling them,especially the controlled medication! There was a 75% off selected summer items sign a few days ago. Inside, they still got some great summer chairs 75% off. I found the ones I like with the 75% tag tape on the first chairs. When it rang up, the original price. The person in-charge that day told me those chairs aren't included in the sale. The other ones are all 75%. The next day, I came back and those chairs are all gone. I ask another cashier were those chairs in the center 75% off and they told me those chairs are 75% off and GONE FAST when other customers saw the sign. Either the person that day did not want to sell it to me the first day or false advertising. Please check your receipt at all times!!! read more
