Honestly, it's a miracle that any Pharmacy can get all five stars. But this Rite Aid has been expedient. They've been kind and I've now switched to this place instead of CVS other pharmacies or other chain pharmacies make you wait hours to pick up a simple prescription but this Rite Aid will always take the time to do it while you're waiting. read more

While in line witnessed two employees bickering at each other with no concern of customers hearing this. I was so appalled and couldn't believe that this was going on and they were doing this in front of their customers. Wanted to call a manager but I believe the manager did come and did nothing!!! This Rite Aid opened a few months ago, but for all that brand new shiny gloriousness and the friendliness of the staff, it fails and falters like a wheelchair-bound pup scampering up Mount Kilimanjaro in a few departments. First, expect to encounter an endless line that winds 'round the designated waiting area and often drifts into a random aisle after you've gathered your purchases. This is attributable to the fact that there is often one lone, overwhelmed (but again, friendly!) cashier trying to make some headway amongst a whirlwind of frustrated custies. Sometimes there's two, but I have never, ever, ever seen more than two. Like I mentioned, the staff is friendly but I see more of them wandering the store than seems necessary given the cashier situation. I'm no retail expert (unless my compulsive shopping habits count) but it just seems a tad ridic. Finally--and maybe you guys will tell me if my gripes could bust pipes I'd be drowning by now--what the French toast is up with those bombastic prices?! Oh, and not on the same level but their RFID chip reader terminals are broken, even though they encourage you to use them... So you'll have this fab frustrating time inserting, reinserting, wasting more time and finally being told to just swipe that plastic. I finally told the cashier on my last visit that I would be damned if she told me to put it in that death trap slot ever again and would be swipe swipin' of my own accord from now on. If Rite Aid can decide two cashiers of five available registers is appropriate, I can decide how I want to pay. read more

I have been getting my prescription here only because it's close to my home. The only consistency is that every month since September 21 is they have screwed up my medication. Every month my doctor sends them a prescription, every month I call to, confirm that they have received it, every month, I call again to ask them when it will be ready, every month they give me a date to come in to receive it and every month it's not ready. Why? Because EACH MONTH they don't order the medication. So they don't have enough. This causes me to have to come to Rite Aid 2 or 3 times a month to pick up medication they should have had ready in the first place. Each month they have the exact same excuses. 1. It's the manufacture's fault for not sending it. 2. The delivery company is late. 3. This was done by the former Pharmacist. 4. We have new people, they are still training (after 6 months'). 5. Notes to have it ready, we're not put in by the staff. If they can't even get a simple order correct and on time. How can you be sure that they put the correct medicine in the correct bottle? I have contacted Rite Aid directly, the VP told me "I am not going to retrain staff for that." If you care about your health get your medicine somewhere else. If you need Toilet Paper, Cheap Make Up, Off brand alcohol or Cigarettes then Rite Aid is your store. read more

Needs to change hours on this website. Went there at 6:30pm thinking they closed at 9 and the lady at the cashier was so rude and said it doesn't say they close at 9pm. Really don't appreciate people being rude to a customer in front of a bunch of other people! read more

I almost never come into this Rite Aid. For a couple years I forgot it was even here. Probably because whatever you can get here, you can get it at Safeway or Target/Walmart. And for some reason, everything feels a lot slower when you're in this store. The location feels pretty barren for the most part and yet the lines can get a LITTLE lengthy since there's always one cashier working and ONLY one cashier. I once came in for the photo services and the lady that worked there was incredibly rude and not very helpful at all. AND there's no thrifty ice cream shop here! Absolutely no reason to come to this store at all. read more

If you want to deal with rude women you can go to the pharmacy at rite aid,I swear every time I go there I deal with something.theres one nice person and hes a man that works there.always kind and listens to how you feel,I wouldnt say all the wemon I'm the Pharmacy but a couple of them are rude,and it just makes me not want to go back,the only reason I do is because its close,but maybe it's time to stop the comfort and do the change because the rudeness is just about too much. read more

I've went to go buy some chips and realized the bag of chips were expired after i finished the bag. I had bad food poisoning and ended up badly Ill. I would highly recommend that this company gets a health inspector cause last time I noticed a roach on the shelf were the snacks were. -___- Not very happy with the services here, I wish this was turned into a Cvs or Walgreens because once I was in line and they did not card a customer buying cigarettes and alcohol I think this place supports selling cigarettes to minors and alcohol and enjoys not carding people. last time I checked I know that it is illegal to sell this things to under aged minors. I go to the same rite-aid every morning on pacific ave in AC. Each day the same person working behind counter id's me for cigarettes. they have a policy that they need to enter the birthdate into the cash register. there should be a better way of doing this. if anything I would think the rep would have memorized my birthday by now.annoying I'm 41 with gray hair. read more

The only reason I am giving 1 star is because Yelp does not have Negative Star Rating. If you need your medication filled go to Walgreen's the service is far better. I was told my medicine was ready. When I came to pick it up the man behind the sign at the Pharmacy which states "Your time is valuable to us you will not wait longer than 15 min Our grantee." I then was told to wait 40 minutes. Its fine if you use it as a local liquor store. If you need medicine your better off going to Walgreen's or even Safeway. The service at the Pharmacy is horrible. read more

I came in with my receipt with an item that has not even been out of the box. On the back of the receipt it clearly states 90s days return policy if you do not have a receipt it's only 30 days and you get a full refund within the 90 days. It's been 40 days since I bought the item and the lady at the register would not return it and neither would the supervisor I thought that was not fair. Now they told me I had to go to the Rite Aid where I purchased it which is in Antioch. And far away from my home and they were able to return it there. I will not be returning or spending any money with this locations ever again. I rather drive across town. During this pandemic we can't leave our homes so they should be much more lenient with the return policy. A lot of places aren't even taking any type of clothes back so this is not fair especially after I called and asked if they were taking the returns and they said yes we will take it read more

Substandard. After waiting 15 minutes for an employee to unlock the electronics cabinet, I purchased a pair of Sony headphones, and paid for them at the pharmacy counter. The employee at the pharmacy counter handed me a receipt and I walked out the front door. The alarms went off when I went through the front door, and I was followed out by store security, who told me I "should have stopped at the front counter" to have the hidden security tag deactivated. I was angered at the pharmacy counter person didn't mention this, and immediately returned the headphones. The supervisor was impolite and it took another 15 minutes to return the headphones because he couldn't figure out how to make the register refund my credit card. Never going back to this store. read more
