    I've been here a couple times lately. There are so many derelicts in the parking lot it cannot be…read moresafe. I watched one guy repeatedly go into a Mercedes SUV and take stuff out. I reported to the "manager" in the store (I reported first to the cashier who told me to talk to the manager) and he couldn't care less. It was like I was bugging him. I think most people go here for meds, it doesn't appear to be stocked well. The website said they had my shampoo but they didn't. They also have half the store under glass. That's a "I won't be back" thing for me. No one likes having to wait ten minutes to get the glass opened. If people are stealing stuff then get security. I'm honestly a well built man but I hate coming here because of the riff raff surrounding the place. There are other options.

They claim it's an insurance issue, but my child's insurance hasn't changed in years. Then they lie and say they're out of stock. Which is mostly untrue. There was an incident when I requested to refill a prescription a week in advance. They sent me a text claiming it was out of stock. I had a feeling that it was bs so I drove to the pharmacy and spoke with their staff in-person. Guess what? The prescription that they claimed that was "out of stock" was in fact in stock. The tech told me that I just needed to wait 10 minutes. I had to explain to the tech the importance of my child's medication being filled on time, given that a missed dose can cause a life-threatening issue. About a month ago, I was in line inquiring on my child's prescription. There was another customer standing super close behind me while I was giving the tech very personal information. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. There is no way that pharmacy tech helping me did not notice him. HIPAA VIOLATION! Anyway, if I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would.

    This is one of the worst Walmarts ever…read more They absolutely refuse to open more than two lines. No matter what. So if the store is packed and the two open lines are way down the aisles, they will not open another line. You will see other employees walking down the aisles laughing or goofing off. But they won't go open another register. There is no self serve registers and it's the only Walmart I know of that doesn't have this. Of all the places that need a self serve, it's this place. This is the last place you want to spend a lot of time in. You can tell the people who frequent this place are not of the best character. And how can you tell? Because EVERYTHING is under glass. Not just medicine. I mean if you want some socks, you have to find an employee to open the glass. They have a call button but no one ever responds to it. I have no idea why it's there because it serves no purpose. Want some underwear? Find someone to open the glass. There are only two registers open at any time, where the hell are the employees when you need the glass open? Let me rephrase that - the employees with the keys. Sometimes you can find an employee - but they never have the keys. I mean honestly, does someone run this store? Or do employee just do what they want? I mean cough drops. Under glass. Are the scumbags stealing all the cough drops to make a special type of meth? Yeah, the customers in the store have no manners because they're from Pittsburg, a town that prides itself on people who never understood basic courtesy. People block the small aisles with their carts and get mad if you want to get by. No one ever uses a divider on the check out belt (If I ever see someone use a divider in Pittsburg I'm going to reward them with a 20 spot right there, just out of shock). If you like rap music, there are four or five different areas in the parking lot where the idiots blast it so loud, I'm surprised the glass on their cars don't break. Watch the people who park in the handicapped spaces. I defy you to find one person with an actual handicapped placard. You can see the folks drive up, park in the handicapped spot and walk in find. Go to their car. Any evidence of them being handicapped? Nope. I can't stand people who do this. There are handicapped folks who need those spaces. These are also prime spots for people blasting rap music, I guess because it's close to the store and they want people inside to hear. But it's normal for this Walmart. Bad customer. Terrible management. As unpleasant as it can be.

I was told the Pharmacy Manager wasn't available, so I asked to speak with any manager. The manager told me he thinks the Pharmacy Manager's name was "Lau" (he spelled it) and that the pharmacist answering the phones might be "Shemma." I told him that I had already been disconnected multiple times and was just trying to get my prescription. The manager wasn't rude, but it didn't really feel like I was talking to someone who was concerned about fixing the issue. I expected a little more urgency since why are the pharmacy staff acting like they answering calls and disconnecting them on "accident". Instead, the only solution offered was to transfer me back to the pharmacy and let them know I was waiting on the phone. When someone answered, I asked if her name was Shemma. She immediately responded, "Nope," and transferred me. I was connected to Shemma. I realized she wasn't the same person that had disconnected my earlier calls because her voice sounded different from the employee who had answered before. Since Shemma stayed on the line, I decided to ask about my medication and a possible prescription transfer between Walgreens locations. I explained that my regular Walgreens told me that if this location had the medication in stock, they could request the prescription transfer. Shemma told me, "No, I can't do that. Call that Walgreens to transfer it." This completely conflicted with what I had already been told, and I felt like I was being talked over. My biggest concern is still the employee who initially answered the phone. After one of the disconnections, I called back and asked for her name first because I wanted to know who was disconnecting the calls. I figured if the call got disconnected again, at least I would know who I had spoken with. When I asked for her name, she responded, "Sure," and the call was disconnected. This is another reason I strongly recommend asking for the employee's name at the beginning of the call. I feel like people are less tough when they know you know who they are. If you need to follow up, file a complaint, or reference a specific interaction, having the employee's name can make that process a lot easier. With that being said, I don't need my prescription to be filled here anymore. Goodluck to ya if you have to call this pharmacy.

    This is a really down in it's luck CVS…read more There are a ton of vagrants out front and the front door doesn't work and is propped open. A lot of the shelves were empty, almost everything is locked up, and it feels a bit grimy. It was a wasted trip for us since it turns out our vaccination isn't covered by our insurance (the pharmacy tech also had an issue checking us in and reviewing our accounts) and the check stand (no self check out) had a line of five people deep that wasn't going anywhere so I put back the candies I'd picked up and left. To be honest I never see us ever coming back to this location, we don't see these issues at our local Walnut Creek CVS and we're always able to use their self check out to be in and out quickly, so overall I think two stars is right on the nose.

During that time, I watched two cars that arrived well after me in the other lane get helped while I was completely ignored. A staff member kept staring at me through the window, but made zero effort to assist me or explain the delay. To make matters worse, she eventually just slammed the window gate shut and signaled for me to come inside. When I went in, there was zero acknowledgement of the situation and absolutely no apology. Both the technician and the pharmacist seemed more interested in just staring at me than addressing the issue or taking any accountability. What should have been a quick trip turned into a 50-minute ordeal. I expect a basic level of courtesy and efficiency from a pharmacy, especially when handling time-sensitive medications. The complete lack of professionalism and customer service here is unacceptable. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

We were surprised how fully stocked this place was especially on Christmas Day! Their holiday aisle was still fully loaded! They had plethora of awesome gifts available and even alcohol gifts. The dude and I were so tempted to get their Kahlúa gift set as it was literally only $20 which is a steal in my opinion! Wish we snagged it. It was pretty busy inside and they were totally enforcing their MASK policy. So wear one or they can't ring you up. I heard staff say that to a few customers which I think they just forgot to put it on. The store was clean, organized and staff was friendly. I always sign up for any awards program as you get deals! I had so many coupons here for CVS but left them at the hotel :( ugh but that's okay. The lines were long but it moved fast. We did but Trulys here which they were decently priced no complaints. My first, and last time doing business with this location. At first, Vanessa the store Manager seems to be kind, and helpful. I've attempted to contact her numerous times without any response. Eventually, she gets around to returning your call Several days later. With many excuses behind the incompetence. I discussed with her in great detail the importance of photos I needed for my terminal ill brother. She seemed sympathetic, and helped me through difficulties of the restrictions of her printing machine. We printed several different images. Non of them were satisfactory good enough to display for her and I. She requested I return late the next day in order for her to accommodate her door dash customers. Upon my arrival 11:00 pm. She ran around for several hours helping other customers while I was waiting for her assistance as agreed. Unfortunately, she sent me home due to the store closing. Instead she requested I order online. I returned the next day to pick up the prints. Vanessa, had left for the day. Trent her Assistant Manager had no knowledge whatsoever of our several previous conversations. He was EXTREMELY rude, condescending and proceeded to embarrass me in front of his employees, and several customers. Trent, contacted Vanessa at home, to fill in the details. Apparently, her instructions to Trent were inappropriate and unacceptable. She made things much worse than it should've been. I in turn became irate and frustrated with the accusations, and the whole situation. For these, and many reasons. I'll be contacting her District Manager, and file a formal complaint with the Corporate Office against Vanessa, and Trent for the unnecessary, and inappropriate conduct of both employees. both employees needs additional training how to treat a customer with respect, and retain a repeat customer. I strongly suggest you take your business to another location to avoid getting accused of ANY wrongdoing in their store. For the record. Vanessa the Store Manager cannot be trusted.
