I've been here a couple times lately. There are so many derelicts in the parking lot it cannot be safe. I watched one guy repeatedly go into a Mercedes SUV and take stuff out. I reported to the "manager" in the store (I reported first to the cashier who told me to talk to the manager) and he couldn't care less. It was like I was bugging him. I think most people go here for meds, it doesn't appear to be stocked well. The website said they had my shampoo but they didn't. They also have half the store under glass. That's a "I won't be back" thing for me. No one likes having to wait ten minutes to get the glass opened. If people are stealing stuff then get security. I'm honestly a well built man but I hate coming here because of the riff raff surrounding the place. There are other options. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only. Now let's talk about the HIPAA violation that I have yet to report and numerous times that this pharmacy had delayed my child's prescription in the past 3-6 months. They claim it's an insurance issue, but my child's insurance hasn't changed in years. Then they lie and say they're out of stock. Which is mostly untrue. There was an incident when I requested to refill a prescription a week in advance. They sent me a text claiming it was out of stock. I had a feeling that it was bs so I drove to the pharmacy and spoke with their staff in-person. Guess what? The prescription that they claimed that was "out of stock" was in fact in stock. The tech told me that I just needed to wait 10 minutes. I had to explain to the tech the importance of my child's medication being filled on time, given that a missed dose can cause a life-threatening issue. About a month ago, I was in line inquiring on my child's prescription. There was another customer standing super close behind me while I was giving the tech very personal information. The staff did not say anything to the customer standing very close to me. There I was disclosing personal medical information not realizing that the customer was near me the whole time. (They should check the cameras; I can't make this up!) I only became aware that the man was standing extremely close to me because another customer in line pointed it out and told him to step back. There is no way that pharmacy tech helping me did not notice him. HIPAA VIOLATION! Anyway, if I could give this pharmacy zero stars I would. read more

Nice Walgreens, always stocked well and in a convenient location. The line for the pharmacy is always long so don't expect to get anything filled on your lunch break but not any worse than any other pharmacy. The employees are always friendly and helpful though. read more

Let me start with I'm a long time patron of this particular location and always use this Walgreens for my medication for the last 8+ years yesterday it was that time of the month to pick up my meds but yesterday they had a floater pharmacist named Sherry who would not let me pick up my meds even though there are Dr notes saying it's ok and also being unchanged for quite some time I'm not sure what was going on but I do know she made this disabled persons life a lot more difficult but I really hope next time you have some empathy and grace for people read more

If you read my last review you will know how much this place sux. So went in for saline for my honey ( Dr. Prescribed didn't arrive yet). "Oh, we don't carry that? Maybe in first aid aisle?". Really? Injectable saline that must be sterile. Oh ok. You can get it from Amazon and like a thousand non medical places, but no, no Pharmacies don't carry it. Came here to find a store with 4 customers TOPS. As I tried to ask for help at the front counter the cashier nearly bit my head off telling me to back away and went off on a tangent about "social distancing". Yeah I'm for it too, but I was plenty of feet away . SOMEONE just had to exert her perceived power on someone else. I challenged her silly neurotic argument and she called the manager who showed up like the Sanitation police and says: "WHOSE NOT RESPECTING SOCIAL DISTANCING! !!??". I POLITELY showed the stupidity of her behavior by pointing out the distance in which I stood. I don't understand why the pharmacy is understaffed at this location! If the 1 pharmacy tech at the counter sees me the line growing, they should immediately ask for assistance! The worst pharmacy. I wish I knew before I had my daughter's prescription sent here.. and now I'm definitely changing. Not only is the wait time ridiculous, they told me it would be about 30-45 minutes, I left and came back OVER a hour later and was told they hadn't even started it. I came back to this pharmacy 3 times total in one day to pick up. I'm not sure about you, but spending an entire day picking up medication is not realistic at all. Last time I came back and the line was down the aisle near the photo desk. I watched 3 people clock out and leave and smile at everyone while they left one guy by himself. I thought it important to report that this store needs to be cleaned up on the outside. There is litter and on the side of the building buckets that have been left there. The People that work here are very nice, it's a very busy store and deserves to be cared for better than it is. If I don't say anything about the litter around the building and in front of the front door it cannot be fixed. Hopefully someone will read this and take care of business. Update*** Im second in line and I've been standing here for over ten minutes. There are two people working and they have ZERO sense of urgency. There's a whole line of people behind me now. This is so ridiculous!!!! I come to the pharmacy here because it is super close to my house and convenient, but every time I come I leave frustrated. They take SOOOOOOO long! I get anxiety every time I round the corner, praying there's only one or two people in line. With a short line, it will take at least ten minutes. If there's 6 or more people in line, sometimes it gets to 15-20, prepare to be there a long time! I don't know what their problem is but they need to get their act together! I don't blame the employees although they don't seem to be in any rush even when there's a long line with elderly and sick peoples standing for a significant amount of time. The management needs to go observe a different pharmacy and figure out what they're doing wrong. I typed this whole thing and only one person was in front of me... I'm still waiting! A woman who works in photo is a 100% inconvenience. She doesn't honor legitimate coupons and has terrible reasoning. In the past I've talked to the general manager who understands logic and honors the codes, but when he's not there the woman is a total pain/inconvenience. It's not even worth the headache anymore. This wreck of place doesn't have the generic thyroid medication and gave me a 10 days supply. The pharmacy screamed at me they have to order it and call in a refill in a few days. Terrible pharmacy. Employees just goof around and talk to eachother ignoring you during your transactions. They are rude, and tell you that they cant help you before thoroughly checking. They will leave you waiting for as long as it amuses them to. Very careless adults working in pharmacy and out-of-uniform workers texting and chatting and distracting co-workers. This place is a disaster. In the end they did not have my prescription and tried to blame it on my doctor for sending it to the wrong location even though my doctor confirmed the address. Extremely long wait times in the store, they tell you your Im order is ready but when you get there they claim to be out of stock, they mess up on the insurance, the staff is rude. This is the most disorganized pharmacy I have ever been too and they are not compliant with state laws and regulations. I sent my prescription in on Thursday. It's Tuesday and they still hadn't filled the prescription and they couldn't figure out if they even had the medication at all. There were dozens of people waiting in line. Strange, all these one-star reviews. My family has never had a one-star experience. Not five stars either, but three should do. This pharmacy is where my hunny goes to get her prescriptions filled. They've been good for her, have always taken care of her. Same with our daughter. As for me, I finally needed to use their service a few days ago. The doctor gave me a prescription for something that's off the market now, so they tried working with him to get something that works. They thought my prescription was lost, but actually, the pharmacist took it on herself to get it filled, and when she couldn't, she gave the prescription back to me. They have other things too. Cards, toys, makeup, and health food (y'know, chocolate, potato chips, pretzels, soda). All priced high. Parking is cramped. Strange clientele. But so far, it works for us. read more

Unable to hear or read filled a opioid Rx incorrectly second month ! Returned failed to order correct after several calls personal visits to this head pharmacist was sent to CVS when copy I had had Walgreens, 1800 Concord, Ave, Concord ! Three visits still wasn't ready because sent to CVS no apology for why! Corporate Complaint 847-914-2500 that pharmacy gave false info to Corporate complaints was told when I didn't receive call promised within 48 hrs from that pharmacy. Complaint same error by Walgreens on Gregory in Pleasant Hill in November 2019 never heard about that complaint either! Broke pharmacy laws of Federal and State substitute was forbidden! No communication and lies by this pharmacy by personnel stating they informed me they FAILED to order that manufacturer as they guaranteed on several conversations only 4 days for delivery another mistake with their error prevents my insurance from filling paying for my 30 day unable to take planned trip cost of hospitalization is Walgreens responsibility calling FDA mistakes HARMED disable senior WRONG RX!
