Most of the comments sound so out of touch and it doesn't make sense unless we presume that they have no world experience. Like for instance, if you know that they are busy, you know that it's a holiday, or you know that it's the only Pharmacy in town, how are your whining and bitching justified? Often out of things they let you order online. This causes delays with not being able to find products. Skeleton staff, meaning there are usually only one or two people working in the front. They get mad at you because they didn't fill it and you're mad they get rude and all they could say we're doing the best we can. I've heard this for three months already. This is the worst Walgreen's I've ever encountered. My prescription was sent and they did nothing until I called to ask about it (after waiting on hold for 23 minutes). They then stated that they don't have the medication and it's too late to order it before Monday, four days later. Had they processed it when they received it, it would have been early enough to order it for tomorrow. When I asked why they didn't do that, the answer was "because you didn't call to ask about it until now." What is the point of having prescriptions sent to the pharmacy if they don't do anything until you call and ask about it? If customer service is anywhere on their "goals" list, they are failing miserably. Go to the one on Ygnacio Valley. They are kind and very helpful. Not so much on North Main. read more

The only reason to come to this Walgreens pharmacy is the 24 hour convenience. Other that than that i would pick a different location. This pharmacy is often understaffed so the lines are really long. The thing that is really a problem is that several times a doctor sends over the prescription but they don't start filling it until I call in. If it's urgently needed I always have to monitor and call in to make sure they are working on it. Another issue is that this location is often out of supplies for common medication such as amoxicillin. They say it's a different dosage and they are out, for example if it's 10mg of something they say it's not in stock, but the doctor say they can just give 2x 5mg of the same medicine - but the pharmacy will not do that. read more

Had a large print sent to this store and showed up an hour after it was supposed to be "ready." I stand by the photo counter for about 5 minutes. No one comes. I go to the register and the ladys says "wait a minute." I realize she can't do anything but all I want is for her to call someone. I see people in aisles, I'm still unclear on why I'm just standing here like a moron. I finally go to one of the people in the aisle and she goes to help. She can't find my photo. I see her looking through the stack and I can tell none of those are mine. I tell her that but she keeps looking at every one. I see the back of a photo my size on the floor by the machine. She finally goes over to that and sure enough, it's mine. Just sitting there on the floor. She has to cut it some (and of course it's a terrible cut I have to fix when I get it). This kind of "service" is just not acceptable. And I shouldn't be standing by the photo counter for ten minutes when there are employees all over the place. Then even worse, is the guy asking for donations just outside the front door. There's no way around this guy. You know how many people coming out of the Walgreens want to be accosted about donating money to this guy? Zero. 0 stars. Attempted to call pharmacy for 40 minutes before 9 multiple times with no answer. No answer until 9:20pm. An hour of trying to speak to someone and finally got through. I was trying to get an emergency inhaler filled for first thing in the morning but pharmacy is not available during open hours. When I finally spoke to "Michael" he had a horrible attitude and had absolutely no solutions to help me in my situation. He refused to leave any note for the pharmacy or opening manager to give me a call first thing in the morning or to express my prescription order. Michael had an extremely condescending attitude, raised his voice at me numerous times, and even hung up the phone on me. I am extremely disappointed in his capabilities to help any customer even on a basic level, let alone a shift lead level. I am also extremely disappointed in the fact that I had to call for an hour straight to attempt to speak to anyone, yet I was refused to be helped with my medication emergency. All I wanted was for him to pass a message along to the opening manager or pharmacy in any possible way he could to let them know this is an emergency that I need this inhaler considering I have been attempting to get ahold of the pharmacy for 40 minutes during their "open" business hours. read more

I came in to do a quick stop for my Shopkick app to earn some points by scanning items and was a bit worried when I noticed that the items I needed to scan (vitamins) were locked behind glass. I felt so bad asking for help, but I pressed the button and within seconds a lovely woman named Annalisa showed up and pulled every item I needed. She was so friendly, helpful, and honestly provided the best customer service experience I've had in quite some time - purely just by being friendly and kind. I didn't end up purchasing anything today, but I will definitely be back in the future to do so - and it's all thanks to the wonderful experience I had today. Extremely exhausting experience with this pharmacy. I am taking into consideration that they do seem to have pretty high volume but it they are very unorganized. If you sit here even just a few minutes you will hear them say "we can't find this prescription" or "we did not receive your order" many times. I'm not sure if it is just to dismiss people & get through the line faster but I called the other pharmacy about 5 times to confirm they had transferred my prescription & they still dismissed me all day until almost end of day they finally found my prescription. If I didn't badger them I would've easily never gotten my meds. I think it will just be much easier to leave my meds at my old pharmacy. read more

The only redeeming quality of this pharmacy is the fact that it is open 24 hours a day. But that's where the pros stop. I was trying to get antibiotics for my son this past Sunday after visiting urgent care. Called this pharmacy while i was driving over to make sure it was received and in process. I was told "we don't process prescriptions until you are here in person." What? But ok....45 minutes later finally left with the meds We needed. Had to go again today for my daughter after visiting urgent care and having it called in for her. Stand in line. Once I get to the counter, I'm told they don't have the prescription yet and I need to wait a full hour before I can expect them to see it in their system. Again, What? It's already been 30 minutes. A full hour for you to know it exists when I know my Dr. faxed it before I left? Fast forward another HOUR and I'm finally leaving with my prescription. It's infuriating to me how slow they move, how much they seem to not care about being prompt and how slow the line moves when there is one. I got two different very generic pediatric antibiotics on two different days and had the same horrible experience each time. Not worth coming here anymore. read more
