The Hrs says 24hrs but them people shew you away saying closed while just standing around or on phone

I bought a bag of Chex Mix from target in the morning and went to 7/11 around 4pm. I had the open bag under my arm and walked in with it. I bought a hotdog and went to leave and the store owner accused me of stealing the Chex Mix. He was very rude and wouldn't believe me when I said I had bought it earlier in the day and that I came in with the bag. It was very uncomfortable and off putting. Another time I got a hotdog and it was hard and tasted stale. I don't know how a hotdog can be stale but it was not fresh at all. It's an ok place but the way the owner talked to me and accused me of stealing made me not want to be respectful to him the next time I came in. read more

The area isn't the best each and every time I'm over there. So I don't think it changes much. However overall the store isn't too bad I got a nice selection it's kind of small. They have a Slurpee machine and a fountain drink so that's all you can really ask for in a 7-Eleven! I got here quite often not a terrible place just not the best 7-Eleven. This place is awful. They close whenever they feel like it and shoo you away or just shake their head, sometimes they just ignore you completely. When they are open they are rude and have zero customer service skills. The only reason I even come here is because it's near my job and SOMETIMES, they are open when I get off work in the early hours of the morning. Plus the store isn't very clean. read more

This 7-Eleven is located in a small plaza with a shared parking lot. I came here a few times for quick snacks, my go to are their steak taquitos. For some reason at this location, the taquitos do not taste as crispy and fresh. I also had their Slurpee at this particular location and it tasted more watered down for some reason. read more

I bought a half gallon of milk as a single quick item but didn't take a receipt. Despite the milk having an expiration date 5 days later, it was bad. When I went to return it an hour later a new crew was there having relieved the night guy and they would not do anything to refund me without a receipt. They basically said 'we can't trust you bought it here' despite me being a local homeowner who spends there frequently and who had knowledge of the earlier night guy. They took back the milk for dumping at my request, but I don't know if they did anything with the other milk in the cooler with the same expiration date. Poor customer relations as I'll never spend another dime there despite it being my nearby quick stop alternative. read more

Tucked into a busy street is this 7-Eleven. It's a smart spot to be in considering how close it is to the mall and to the community college just go the street. There's a bunch of parking near it. Across the street there's parking. Or park by the mall and walk. Or park at DVC, pay about $3.00 for your parking and walk to the store. Or park at the mall, and walk here. Lots of students pass by here before, during, and after school. I, myself, stopped by here after school at around 2pm. It wasn't busy when I got in. There was parking and when I entered the store there was only me and three people. They sell a bunch of things from snacks like chips and cookies to ramen and drinks like soda to coconut water, and much more. I was leaning toward the the frozen drinks-slushed drinks and icee stuff, and the mini-donuts they sold. The prices are a much even for a cheaper place compared to like a Chevron. But I always dig a spot that gives away free slushies on 7-11. I settled on those donuts. They looked might my good. I had to wait a bit to get my stuff scanned and to pay for it. The gentleman that helped me was in a hurry so I didn't get a hi or a how I may help you, but he was efficient and didn't make a mistake in my order or those in front of me. I barely spent about $1.50. Not darn bad at all. 3/5 read more

If you go here, keep an eye out on the staff. I literally had to put my number in 4 times because the cashier kept taking my number out and inserting his own. Literally tried stealing 7/11 rewards points from me. Who does this? Then, I saw when he rung me up, he wanted to charge me full price for the coffee and muffin combo. This time, trying to steal my money. Like I said, keep an eye out coming here. Lastly, hope you don't mind to loud prayers blasting through the whole store. This is one of my neighbourhood 7-Elevens and the one close to DVC. It's located at the end of a strip shopping center that contains the Military recruitment offices and is across the street from Giant Chef Burger. Combine the mix with a few College Park HS kids and folks hitting the donut shop and you'll find a fairly eclectic bunch around here sometimes. This 7-11 also has the occasional convenience of a Redbox. I really only come here when I need the occasional grocery or snack item and as far as 7-Eleven's go, what more is there to expect? read more

This is one of my 3 favorite 7-Elevens. Why? Well first, it is not far from where I live and the office. (Is that why they call it a convenience store? I thought it was the 24 hrs?) Secondly, there are a lot of college kids from the local community college (Diablo Valley College) that come here. So it is interesting to see how that generation is consuming, acting, eating/drinking/smoking and generally using their time at a 7-Eleven. As Peter Sellers said in "Being There", "I like to watch". Third, in the same strip mall are 3 recruitment offices: The Navy, The Marines, and the Army. Even though Buchanan Field, the local municipal airport is 1 mile away, there is no Air Force recruitment office. In fact, I have never seen one anywhere, have you? How do they get their people? So it is interesting to me to see who goes into the recruitment offices vs the 7-Eleven, versus the local JC (and versus the local high school, College Park, which is across from the JC). Call me a closet Sociologist. I did take a couple of Sociology courses at UC Berkeley some time ago. Anthropology, too! (Even something called "Social Anthropology"! What is that?) Finally, they have what every 7-Eleven has: California Lotto, diet sodas, energy drinks, mints, potato chips and foreign clerks with turbans. read more

Ever notice how many cars are in this parking lot even in the middle of the night when only the two guys working and the donut shop owner is baking? After careful examination, it turns out all the plates are mostly government issue. this is due ot the military recruiting centers. Strange how many cars are here. I mean how many do they need? Went into this 7/11 around 3am on Wednesday morning and saw the guy behind the register arguing with someone, I think about the price for something because he was looking at his receipt. Anyway I go in to buy a pack of cigarettes and I had to repeat myself about 6 times before he realized I said American Spirit a Yellow. I thought I heard him say 87.10 and that's what I saw on the screen, I gave him $10.10 and he said "no, it's $7.70, what's this 10 cents for?!?" He sounded like he was still heated from the other argument. I mentioned I have 60 more cents in my pocket and reach in there, but as I reach in there he already charged the $10. So now I'm arguing with this guy too (at first I was polite about it, but he kept bringing up "blame california tax") I tried to tell him that I was giving him 70 cents so I can get $3 back instead of $2.30 since I always lose the change in my pockets. I should have just went somewhere else to get the cigarettes, but at least now I know I will for sure. read more

Came to Concord to visit my aunt and I tried stopping here to use the restroom after finding the previous gas station had none for customers. Same story here. Ridiculous. Am I supposed to go on the street? It used to be a gas station was a good pit stop-get gas, food and water and use the restroom. I guess here that's unheard of. What a shame. read more
