Overall this store isn't a bad store that's not why it gets a 3 star rating. It's in a really weird spot I don't know if it's by apartments or what that gate that opens is but there's so much traffic and there's a little shopping center as well that it's in. If you go there you'll know what I'm talking about it's just a very weird set up and I just would prefer to go somewhere else but I'll go here if it's closest. There was this man out there today just sitting there staring at everyone I don't know if he does that a lot but just a weird vibe there. Wasn't a worker. The worker was pretty nice I just don't like how my feet got sticky what I got in there. I wiped it off on the rug real quick I'm not keeping your stickiness with me that's gross. Everything was sticky, the refrigerated area was too warm at 48 degrees, there was what seemed to be mayonnaise on every surface, none of the employees were wearing masks (and laughed when I asked where their masks were), and they refused to give me a bag after I paid for one. Pretty good for a quick stop. The have all the basic 7-11 stuff. They're well located off the freeway and by some main streets. The staff is friendly enough, but more importantly they get to the register when you do. They have an Amazon locker which is convenient for me. Parking can be tricky due to the small lot with other stores. read more

I live close by, so its convenient. But, having to brush off a homeless man EVERY TIME I go is becoming aggravating. Today the man was sleeping 5 ft. from the door. I said to the employee in 7-11 that maybe he should tell the guy to go nap somewhere else. The employee just shrugged and said nothing. I love that I can come here for my favorite junk food, candy, etc. Or grab a protein bar, protein powder and have a healthy snack. There's a large variety of booze and drinks, tons of snacks, even canned foods are sold here. Truly a convenience being that it's walking distance, has a red box, amazon locker and it's open 24 hrs! This is definitely not my favorite 7-11. The service here is always friendly but their selection is poor. They are consistently out of whatever it is that I come here for, no matter what it is. Never have fresh eggs or meat or milk and they always have weak slurpee flavors, which strangely really irks me!! It's like the management of this store really don't care about sales at all. Always people out front asking for change. Everytime I buy cigs, the price fluctuates by $3 for two packs, depending on the cashier. One gives the two pack discount, others don't. The main issue is that I have one dedicated CC for paying the house utility bills. I used it once at this store because I was short on cash. It's a 7 eleven. They are pretty uniform in what they have. This one happens to be next to my apt complex so I stop by a lot. The staff here is always pretty friendly. I got ice cream yesterday and the cashier went and got paper towels and wiped off all the excess frost. read more

This 7-11 is convenient to the onramp for NB680. It's in a small plaza that has a breakfast/pastry place and used to have a Taco Bell. The TB is gone now *sad face*. We stopped in here on thanksgiving when pretty much every other store was closed (and Buskirk Chevron had a "be right back" sign with an ETA of 5 minutes ago). Faithful 7-11 remained open on the holiday of thanks and this was convenient! Curiously, their receipt says "Helicopters starting at $29.99" on the top, under the store information. Interesting...advertising the receipt. That's pretty smart. The bottom of it advertises "Healthy snacks - seaweek .79 cents; oranges, apples, bananas 2 for $1" Way to go 7-11 I like the healthy snacks and I like the price. AND I like the receipt letting me know all this! :) Keep it up. read more

This is an appropriate place to stop by if you need a snack or grab some beer to take home. I wouldn't try their pizza or chicken wings, they taste like they have been sitting out all day. This is a really nice 7-11. It's clean, and it's walking distance from my house. Score! The coffee is terrible, so don't come here with high expectations for that, but the donuts make up for it -- they are delish! I dug the cinnamon roll and the maple one the most. I just moved to the bay area from Hawaii. Be careful trying to show Hawaii ID in this store. Haha! I almost got into a verbal altercation with one of the female cashiers because she claimed she could only accept American identification. It was no use trying to explain that Hawaii is indeed a state in America. Frustrating! The other cashiers are cordial and seem to know the names of the United States. I came to this 7-Eleven this morning on my way to work. It's about halfway between Pleasant Hill BART and Best Buy which was perfect. It's a very clean store, inside and out. The clerk at the register was nice, asking how my morning was right when I walked in. Everything is in it's place, no spills or messes on the floor. The hot food rack was empty, so I opted for a doughnut. I could of just bought a 99 cent doughnut, but instead paid the extra 40 cents and bought a 49ers special doughnut. I didn't buy it to show team pride or anything, I just liked that it was maple glazed, with sprinkles. The little kid in me was screaming with glee. On top of everything, of course it was amazing. Whenever I have an opening shift at work, you can bet I'll be here for breakfast. read more

There is a representative there that paid for my coffee one day because I forgot my cc. I went to leave in embarrassment when I realized I had no method of payment but she was like, "Wait. I will pay with my card." She got her wallet and swiped her card. Her gesture was something small but to me...her kindness meant a lot. It was refreshing to meet someone so selfless in that moment. I hope the owners read these reviews. Most 7-11's are pretty much the same except those with trashy people or panhandlers hanging out. I guess these are the best places to get coffee and smokes and beer quickly, so that's what you can expect. This one doesn't have a lot of riff-raff. The big problem I have is that the clerk that is there the most often, who may well be the owner, has an air about her that shows she must hate the world and will tolerate no disagreement under any circumstances. It would be great if someone could get her to a one-day class on how to interact with the public. I'm sure they would get a lot more business if there were some hint of friendliness or lack of the appearance of hostility. read more

The cashier Armita is the worst. I can't understand who would hire such a silent zombie who has zero people skills. I'm going to avoid this 7-11 and go to Chevron from now on. Armita scans your ID every time you purchase cigarettes so 7-11 can add my info to a database to be hacked in the future. Even after purchasing from her every single day asking her not to scan my ID, she grabs it, looks at it, then just scans it. I feel like it's an invasion of privacy. Why does 7-11 need to know my name address etc? I'm clearly a 40 year old man, not a 20 something kid where my age is in question. read more

Do not expect to run in and run out unless you see no one standing in line at the register. The last two times I've come in here for a lottery ticket, the cut-off for the drawing was in 6 minutes and each time I ended up with a ticket for next week's drawing because Shorty was so friggin slow at the register. Also, if you win a free ticket on a scratcher game, even though every other place in the world will give you the dollar or whatever the ticket value is, this place insists on giving you another ticket. No big deal, except Shorty can get a bit argumentative with you about it and will say (in her thick Bulgarian accent) "it say free ticket, you get free ticket." Yes ma'am!! After 6 or 7 years, I don't think I've ever seen her crack a smile, but she probably had a rough life. On the plus side, it is close to home, their sandwiches are pretty good if you are starving and not in the mood for fast food (just make sure you check the date they were made), and they always have some interesting gadgets for sale up near the register. The hot dogs and taquitos have usually been rolling around on the heater for too long and are like rubber. They switched to a cheaper brand of milk called "Crystal" and you can tell right away it's not as good as Berkeley Farms. Getting in and out when it's crowded can be a pain in the butt -- usually better to exit the far end of the strip and do a U-turn at the light if you need to go into Walnut Creek or back on the freeway.
